Nagato in One Piece – Read Fanfic

“You don’t seem to have improved much,” Nagato said as he effortlessly caught Luffy’s straightforward attack with his right hand.

Luffy angrily shouted, his limbs springing back like rubber bands. His body turned red, and steam began to rise from him. “Second Gear!”

“Disperse,” Nagato instructed the nearby Marines as he watched Luffy’s transformation without making any other moves.

Immediately, the soldiers retreated.

“JET…” Luffy’s right hand was caught by Nagato, and as he pulled back his left hand to unleash a Second Gear attack, Nagato suddenly flung him away, smashing him into the ground and interrupting his move.

“Luffy!” Luffy’s crewmates at the auction house entrance cried out and rushed forward.

“This bastard is blocking our way. We can’t escape without taking him down,” Kid said, exchanging a glance with Killer before shouting to the Straw Hat Pirates, “An Admiral will be here soon. Let’s join forces and push him back, then go our separate ways!”

“Exactly!” Zoro, with a sword in his mouth, unleashed his full power in a three-sword style attack aimed at Nagato’s head.

Sanji, another key fighter of the Straw Hat Pirates, launched his strongest move, his right leg appearing to be on fire, and kicked at Nagato’s lower body alongside Zoro.

“It’s too much to use the full form,” Nagato remarked as he faced their combined attack. “The Yarukiman Mangrove is a beautiful sight. Destroying it would be a pity. I’ll use this level to fight you.”

A purple flame rose, forming a massive skeleton in the fire. The skeleton was then covered in flesh and skin, revealing Susanoo.

“Yohohohoho!” Even in this critical situation, Brook couldn’t help but laugh at the sight. “A giant skeleton! It makes me feel so at home, yohohoho! What an interesting technique!”

The Straw Hat Pirates might have had confidence in their comrades, but reality soon shattered their naive hopes.

The enormous half-body Susanoo towered over Nagato, its four arms wielding blades that clashed with Zoro and Sanji’s strongest moves.

“Ah!” Sanji screamed in pain as his right leg collided with Susanoo’s descending blades. He was sent flying, clutching his injured leg, unable to stand.

“Boom!” Zoro fared even worse. Still suffering from his injuries from the battle with Moria, he was blasted into the auction house, crashing through a wall and disappearing from sight.

“Useless fools,” Kid muttered, but his right arm had already formed a massive iron arm, aiming it at Susanoo using his magnetic ability.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

To everyone’s surprise, Kid’s gigantic iron arm quickly disintegrated in a series of metallic clinks, with all the metal weapons being drawn to the purple giant instead.

Before the pirates and Marines, Kid’s attack seemed like a circus performance, stretching and shrinking without advancing an inch, while Nagato inside Susanoo appeared more like the magnet user.

“Your power is just magnetism, but I control the force itself,” Nagato said. Susanoo’s right arm dropped its blade, which turned to flames and dissipated. The steel-clad arm then smashed down on the stunned Kid.

Boom!

The island trembled. Kid, covered in blood, managed a bitter smile before losing consciousness. “Damn it! Is this the superior power of abilities…”

Killer screamed, rushing to rescue Kid but was forced back by Susanoo’s blade.

“Universal Pull!” Nagato stretched out his right hand, and Kid’s unconscious body was pulled to him by an invisible force.

“Brutal and murderous, truly deserving punishment.” After muttering something unintelligible about the Human Path, Nagato flung Kid’s body to the Marines. “315 million.”

“Huh…?” The Marine who caught Kid was stunned, then realized Nagato was referring to Kid’s bounty. He snapped to attention and saluted. “Yes, sir!”

Seeing Nagato effortlessly crush the Supernovas, even the fearsome Eustass Kid, the Marines couldn’t help but be in awe and began to murmur among themselves.

“So… this is the power of a Warlord of the Sea?”

“Shouldn’t be, right? If all the big pirates are this terrifying, it’s even more worrying!”

“Yeah, but for now, it’s surprisingly reassuring.”

“At least this one isn’t a scumbag like the others.”

“In the New World, having such a powerful king, Dressrosa must be envied by many nations…”

“Looks like… we might not need the Admiral. This guy is going to take down all the Supernovas himself!”

…

“Release Kid, you Marine bastards!” Killer charged again, this time towards the Marines restraining Kid with seastone cuffs.

Unable to fight Nagato directly, Killer’s only option was to save his captain. But Nagato wouldn’t let him take Kid under his nose.

Susanoo’s blade descended once more.

But this time, someone else intervened.

“One-on-one, we’re no match!” Sanji, who had been gravely injured, had recovered enough to launch a counterattack. He kicked Susanoo’s blade aside, shouting, “Everyone, attack together! The longer we drag this out, the worse it gets!”

Sanji’s Diable Jambe deflected Susanoo’s blade, but the Mangekyo Sharingan bestowed by Madara allowed Nagato’s Susanoo to wield four arms!

Three flaming blades immediately followed.

However, the Straw Hat Pirates stepped in again.

“Yohohohoho! Prelude: Arrow Notch Strike!”

“Special Attack: Firebird Star!”

“Strengthened Hoof: Cherry Blossom!”

Brook’s cane sword, Usopp’s exploding ammo, and Chopper’s hoof attack each targeted a blade.

The result was disappointing.

Clang! Brook’s cane sword, despite its name, barely scratched the massive blade. Usopp’s explosion had no effect, and only Chopper’s attack caused a slight pause before Susanoo’s blade resumed its descent.

But then, their captain launched his attack.

“Gomu Gomu no…” Luffy had approached Nagato, stretching his arms back to launch a punch at Nagato’s face within Susanoo. “JET! Rocket!”

Boom!

Though Luffy’s attack did no harm to Nagato, it struck Susanoo, causing its massive body to bend backward.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Susanoo’s three blades fell, but they missed their mark due to Luffy’s attack, allowing Killer to breach Susanoo’s defense and approach the Marines holding Kid.

“Kid!” Killer shouted, now less than ten meters from his captain.

“Killer!”

“Look out!”

But as Killer’s crewmates and the Straw Hat Pirates shouted in warning, an invisible force hit him from the side, crushing his right side and face, sending him flying like a cannonball into a tree a hundred meters away.

As the Kid Pirates and Straw Hat crew watched in horror, Nagato and Susanoo stood unmoved. Despite Luffy’s earlier attack, Nagato hadn’t truly been pushed back!
