Naruto Kirigakure System - Chapter 40
Hizashi Hyuga turned his head sternly, ignoring Naoki Kaguya’s greeting.
“Hizashi-sama.”
Naoki sighed.
“If I remember correctly, our Kaguya clan has had a thousand-year relationship with the Hyuga clan. Even the branch families visited our clan when we were young. Why are you so distant now?”
Hizashi tried to maintain his composure, but his voice inevitably turned cold.
“Then, Naoki Kaguya, where did the eyes in your sockets come from?”
Naoki sighed again.
“Naturally, they came from the eyes of the main family.”
“But if it weren’t for the urgent situation, I wouldn’t have bothered the important figures of the main family.”
Naoki smirked at Hizashi.
“After all, if I wanted the Byakugan, it would be quite simple.”
Hizashi’s eyes shifted, showing a hint of curiosity.
“All I need to do is capture a branch member of the Hyuga clan, take them to the Land of Water, pair them up, have some children, and isn’t the Byakugan a matter of time?”
“After all, the Caged Bird Seal has a distance limit, right?”
Hizashi’s expression turned stiff, then severe.
This was indeed the case.
Then, as a captive…
Hizashi’s hand unconsciously clenched his clothes.
“Hizashi-sama.”
“It’s easy to get the Byakugan, but I want more than just that.”
Naoki said with a smile.
“I want all the Hyuga clan’s records, their entire history, all their secret techniques, and a large number of Hyuga clan members who can quickly form a combat force.”
“Impossible.”
Hizashi couldn’t help but interrupt, his expression showing a hint of mockery.
“Naoki Kaguya.”
Isn’t that too far-fetched?
“Maybe not, Hizashi-sama.”
Naoki stood up, ready to continue persuading, when a Kirigakure ninja hurried in.
“Naoki-sama, urgent news!”
Naoki took a deep look at Hizashi.
“Hizashi-sama.”
“I don’t like persuading people with words.”
“I prefer to rely on facts.”
“So, please wait quietly. The fate of the Caged Bird Seal is also time to change.”
Hizashi’s eyes narrowed, his heart pounding.
Soon, he calmed down.
The caged bird seal is the shackles of fate; no one can break it.
Feeling down, he reached out, quietly drinking hot tea.
Calmly maintaining the composure of the Hyuga clan.
Meanwhile, outside the door, Naoki looked at the intelligence scroll, lost in thought.
Sunagakure joining the battle?
Indeed, a good dog.
He slowly put away the scroll, feeling a rush of excitement in his veins.
If I can’t beat Konoha, can I not beat you?
…
“Ryota-sama.”
“There is another Sunagakure team ahead. What should we do?”
A Kirigakure ninja turned back, looking at Ryota Kaguya, whose face was blood-covered, clearly excited.
Ryota licked the blood around his lips.
“Of course, we kill them all!”
With that, he drew his bloodstained bones and charged forward, the other Kirigakure ninjas gritting their teeth and following.
Damn it!
Still needs to catch up!
They cursed inwardly.
Ryota Kaguya, addicted to killing, had fought from east to west, slaughtering both Konoha and Sunagakure ninjas alone.
Naturally, they gained no merits.
Post-war rewards, they got nothing.
When they finally caught up to Ryota, they sighed at the pile of corpses on the ground.
Sigh!
Ryota spat out some blood that had splashed into his mouth, cursing.
“These Sunagakure ninjas are too weak.”
“After killing only seven or eight teams, they have six or seven-year-old kids among them.”
Ryota frowned, turning to the approaching Kirigakure ninjas, and shouted.
“You guys, dig a hole and bury this kid.”
“Got it!”
Two Kirigakure ninjas nodded reluctantly, carrying the body into the nearby forest and quickly digging a hole.
Seeing the ninjas obediently following orders, Ryota nodded in satisfaction.
Turning back, he kicked the body at his feet with disgust.
“Sunagakure is truly a good dog. Why do they care about our fight with Konoha?”
Just as he cursed, two screams came from the forest.
Ryota turned, drawing his bones and charging.
Parting the branches, he saw the corpses of two Kirigakure ninjas and a Sunagakure squad. Shouting, he rushed forward with murderous intent.
Within a minute, the shattered corpses of Sunagakure ninjas filled the ground.
Before he could catch his breath, a voice exploded in his ear.
“Damn you, Kirigakure brat!”
Before the voice faded, several red fireballs rushed at Ryota with unstoppable momentum.
Fireballs?
Ryota licked his lips, dismissing them, and charged at the kunoichi.
The approaching Kirigakure ninjas’ faces changed drastically at that moment, shouting at the reckless Ryota.
“Ryota-sama, that’s Pakura of the Scorch Release. Don’t let those fireballs touch you; you’ll be instantly vaporized!”
Vaporized?
Ryota paused, then sped up, breaking through the encirclement.
The fireballs, unperturbed, shot toward the Kirigakure ninjas behind him.
After several screams, seeing the withered corpses of the Kirigakure ninjas, Ryota’s face twisted with rage.
“You damn bastard!”
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Seven or eight spinning fireballs flew around Ryota, but as the second genius of the Kaguya clan, urged by Naoki Kaguya, his taijutsu was among the best in Kirigakure.
Bones and taijutsu intersected, blocking the fireballs and preventing them from approaching.
“Too slow, too slow!”
“Die!”
The pure white bone struck at Pakura with unstoppable force.
She remained unmoved, calmly recalling the fireballs, forming a blazing sun-like fireball between her hands.
First, a sharp light, then a thunderous roar.
The rising smoke cleared.
A bottomless pit in the ground, shattered wood, and half-destroyed mountains.
One strike changed the terrain.
Let alone a human body?
At the explosion’s center, Pakura’s expression was not pleased.
Seeing the empty surroundings, she cursed inwardly.
Damn it.
That Kaguya escaped.
A mile away.
Cough, cough, cough!
Ryota spat blood, feeling the pain in his back, touching it, finding it charred and missing large chunks of flesh.
Damn Sunagakure ninja.
Raising his eyes, filled with killing intent.
I must inform Naoki about this!
Pakura of the Scorch Release, damn it!
