Naruto Kirigakure System - Chapter 44
So, this is Sunagakure. It seems well-fortified.
But what use is it?
Without the support of powerful shinobi, it’s just an anthill.
Tonight, I shall be a bit more reckless and audacious.
Outside Sunagakure, in the darkness, Naoki gazed at the fortress-like village and couldn’t help but reflect.
However, before meeting with the Kazekage, it’s best to avoid causing too much commotion.
With this thought, Naoki formed a series of hand seals. As the white smoke dispersed, a pile of bones emerged in the vast desert.
Following his memory, he quickly constructed the body of a Sunagakure ninja responsible for relaying information.
“Bone Clone, go.”
“Tell the Kazekage that Pakura must be dealt with by their own hands.”
The Bone Clone nodded and soon slipped through a narrow aperture into Sunagakure, where it met Kazekage Rasa.
Rasa remained seated in his high position, his eyes bloodshot. Seeing the Bone Clone, he immediately spoke in a deep voice.
“So soon?”
“Did you encounter Naoki?”
Pausing, Rasa’s voice grew somewhat anxious.
“Did you hand over the scroll?”
“Did he agree?”
The Bone Clone looked up, revealing a cold smile.
Rasa’s expression changed slightly, and he felt tense. With a wave of his hand, a large amount of chakra gathered, and a kunai shot out.
Tilting its head to avoid the kunai just before being engulfed by a mass of golden sand, the Bone Clone spoke with a smile.
“Kazekage, I am Naoki of Kirigakure.”
“If you continue to offend me, I will attack Sunagakure.”
“Arrogant fool!”
“What do you mean by offend you?”
Rasa’s face twisted in anger, the gathered sand swirling in his hand as he hesitated to kill the Bone Clone.
“No need for pleasantries.”
“Let’s talk business.”
“The war ends tonight.”
“Kill Pakura, secure peace, and solidify your position.
You don’t need to hide this from me, a Kirigakure ninja.”
Rasa’s face turned livid, then slowly returned to a stern expression as he looked at Naoki.
“I didn’t expect someone remarkable to emerge from the Kaguya clan.”
“Indeed. Since the scroll already states this, why come here?”
Naoki sighed.
“To ensure Sunagakure doesn’t ambush us.”
Rasa clenched his fists, feeling absurd.
Ambush?
With what would you ambush a ninja who has both the Byakugan and the ability to fly?
His voice turned cold.
“Naoki, just tell me what you want.”
The Bone Clone chuckled.
“Just one thing, deal with Pakura of the Scorch Release yourselves.”
“We, Kirigakure, will just clean up the aftermath.”
“Impossible.”
Rasa immediately refused.
Having only recently ascended to the Kazekage position, he did not yet have a force loyal to him and could not agree to such a request.
“Is that so?”
The Bone Clone smiled and patiently explained.
“The Scorch Release is powerful. If Kirigakure attacks rashly, there might be casualties.”
“As for loyalty, don’t worry. We’ll eliminate anyone in Sunagakure who cleans up Pakura for you.”
“Absolutely not.” Rasa’s voice turned cold as he tried to argue, but the Bone Clone laughed dismissively, not giving him a chance to continue.
“I am a Kaguya. I have no patience for nonsense.”
“If you don’t satisfy me, that scroll will find its way into certain hands.”
“Your position as Kazekage will become unstable.”
Rasa fell silent, then shook his head, gathering all the golden sand back, and spoke in a low voice.
“So be it.”
“Naoki, I hope when you become the Mizukage, your methods won’t be so crude.”
“Perhaps.”
Naoki’s Bone Clone waved and exited, leaving Kazekage Rasa grimly.
Naoki.
If a reckless and unrestrained person like you becomes Mizukage, Kirigakure will decline even further.
…
The next day, on the border of the Land of Fire.
Wearing a mask, Naoki stared at the gloomy sky, waiting silently while stroking his mask, deep in thought.
I am appointed as the leader of a particular organization and am incorporating its structure under Kirigakure.
This organization is used to recruit rogue ninjas and those with Kekkei Genkai.
It would be a significant advantage if the system recognized this as a defection to Kirigakure.
“Hmm?”
They’re here.
Naoki murmured, immediately standing up and using his Byakugan to scan the distant battlefield.
Now, it’s my time to perform.
I’ll use Ice Release and Water Release, posing as a rogue ninja from the Yuki clan, a member of this organization.
With this thought, Naoki stood and disappeared into the dense forest.
“Kill!”
Not far from Naoki, numerous Sunagakure ninjas wait in the mountains.
As Pakura appeared in their sight and entered an ideal location, their leader gave the signal, and a barrage of kunai flew out.
At that moment, Pakura stood alone with a scroll on her back, contemplating the forthcoming agreement and dreaming of a better future for Sunagakure.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
The sound of kunai slicing through the air filled Pakura’s ears.
Looking up, she saw a dense black cloud of kunai descending, and her face turned to despair.
Too many, too dense.
No way to escape.
Damn Kirigakure scum.
The war is starting again.
In her despair, a blue wall of ice suddenly appeared from above, intercepting the black cloud of kunai.
Clang, clang, clang!
The ice wall clashed with the dense kunai, holding its ground and blocking them all!
Yuki clan?
Ice Release?
Pakura’s moment of distraction passed, and she bit her lip, forming hand seals. Several crimson orbs flew up, targeting the mountains!
“Go, attack!”
Hearing the raspy voice, Pakura hesitated momentarily, then followed, charging towards the mountains.
“Kill them!”
The Sunagakure ninjas snarled, shouting coldly.
Sharp wind blades flew down the mountains, slicing through rocks and bushes, heading straight for the ice wall.
With a slight pause, Naoki leaped up, dodging the wind blades.
Pakura’s expression changed, sidestepping.
Seeing the Sunagakure headbands, she froze.
Sunagakure?
How is this possible?
No way.
It can’t be!
Pakura’s expression hardened, accelerating her charge up the mountains.
No matter who you are, if you dare impersonate Sunagakure ninjas to sow discord, I’ll kill you all!
Ice Release: Ice Senbon.
Naoki ignored Pakura’s reaction, forming seals and launching a barrage of ice needles that pierced several Sunagakure ninjas.
They’re too weak.
If Pakura weren’t vulnerable to kunai, how could these Sunagakure ninjas kill a near-Kage-level ninja?
Naoki thought to himself, and a thought emerged.
In that case, I need to display additional power to deter Pakura and prevent her from developing other ideas at the wrong time.
With this in mind, Naoki formed more hand seals.
Ice Release: Ice Rain.
Dark clouds gathered, forming a dense rain that became sharp white ice needles as it fell, infused with Ice Release chakra.
The Sunagakure ninjas looked up in confusion at the blue and white needles, feeling bewildered.
Why is the sky getting closer?
Wait.
That’s not the sky!
Before the realization fully dawned, the sound of flesh being pierced echoed.
Splurt, splurt, splurt!
The needles pierced through foreheads, shoulders, and necks, pinning large pieces of flesh to the ground.
With one strike, the Sunagakure ninjas were all dead.
Pakura stopped, staring at the fallen sky, her eyes wide with shock.
