Naruto Kirigakure System - Chapter 51
The ice mirrors slowly dissipated, revealing a tall figure with white hair.
“Naoki-kun.”
Orochimaru whispered a cold smile on his lips.
“Now, can you give me those materials?”
“Not yet, Orochimaru-kun.”
Naoki landed on the ground, casually sweeping away the swaying weeds beside him, and replied helplessly.
“After all, you’re so strong, I can’t win. If you defeat me publicly, I would completely lose my chance to become the Mizukage.”
“Heh heh.”
Hearing Naoki’s rare compliment, Orochimaru smiled with satisfaction.
“Don’t worry, it will definitely be a draw.”
He looked at the sun rising behind Naoki, a smile forming.
“Let’s start quickly, Naoki-kun. If we finish early, you’ll have more time to withdraw your troops.”
“May you become Mizukage soon.”
“And you.”
Naoki paused, his tone peaceful.
“May you defect to Kirigakure soon.”
Orochimaru’s eyebrow twitched as he licked his lips, suppressing the slight anger rising in his heart.
Such a talkative vessel.
Someday, I’ll make sure you can’t speak anymore.
He drew the Kusanagi sword from his waist, pointing it at Naoki from a distance.
Thud!
Naoki’s foot striking the ground echoed, a wave of noise rising as the battle erupted without warning.
Shikotsumyaku: Dance of the Willow!
White, jade-like bones protruded instantly, followed by a sweeping storm and shattered rocks.
This was the aftermath of Naoki shattering the ground with all his might.
Hidden Shadow Snake Hands!
As Orochimaru shot backward, countless venomous snakes slithered from his sleeves, thrusting forward and blocking Naoki’s escape routes.
No matter how strong the ninja, a spray of snakes could hardly escape death.
But this was Naoki.
Bones whirled, and amidst the cracking sounds, only a mass of writhing flesh could be seen.
“Naoki-kun.”
Orochimaru didn’t care about the dead snakes, muttering to himself.
“Perhaps this battle is too dull.”
“Why not adopt a method that better showcases your power to your subordinates?”
“Is that so?”
Naoki responded briefly, whispering.
Shikotsumyaku: Dance of the Clematis.
Giant bones with numerous thin spikes erupted from his back, instantly piercing Orochimaru’s body, which had just been chatting moments ago.
For a moment, everyone secretly watching the battle was frozen.
Orochimaru, one of the Legendary Sannin of Konoha, died just like that?
Time seemed to stand still as countless eyes scanned the white bones, only returning to their fights after seeing a head emerge, still speaking, from the impaled body.
“Truly impressive, Naoki-kun.”
Shocked by bone spikes, the body opened its mouth, revealing Orochimaru’s sinister smile.
“Let’s get serious then.”
Long hair fluttered, driven by rapidly moving fingers.
Snap!
His hands stopped, two colossal jutsu firing out.
Earth Release: Earth Flow River
Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld
In an instant, the solid ground turned into a river of mud, swallowing everything around it.
Trees, rocks, and even hills were pulled in.
Naoki was inevitably dragged into the mire.
Shikotsumyaku: Ten-Finger Drilling Bullets.
Ten bone projectiles pierced the air toward Orochimaru, stopping him from launching another troublesome jutsu.
Faced with the bones, Orochimaru chuckled and let them hit him, his flesh flying as he clapped his hands.
Earth Release: Hardening!
The previously winding mud river solidified into rock, trapping Naoki, which is still embedded within.
“Is that all, Naoki-kun?”
“Perhaps.”
A response made Orochimaru break into a cold sweat, instinctively drawing his Kusanagi sword to strike backward.
But it was too late.
A bone pierced Orochimaru’s throat, blood gushing out.
The fight continued.
Many Serpent Array.
Countless snakes poured from Orochimaru’s ruptured body, surging towards Naoki.
Shikotsumyaku: Dance of the Larch.
Dense bone spikes skewered the snakes but also cost Naoki another chance to close in on Orochimaru.
Orochimaru reappeared before Naoki, unscathed, as the latter sighed deeply.
So, how can we truly defeat this immortal opponent?
Instantly, Naoki thought of his Byakugan and Ice Senbon.
With the Byakugan, sealing Orochimaru’s chakra should count as a victory.
As he pondered, a cold voice shattered the silence.
“Orochimaru, as compensation, I’ll eat a thousand people this time!”
Naoki looked up, saw a plume of white smoke and an emerging snake head, and took a deep breath.
Finally, a target to beat down!
Shikotsumyaku: Dance of the Clematis!
A giant bone whip coiled around the scaly body.
Manda’s eyes narrowed, memories of past humiliations surfacing.
“Orochimaru!”
“You bastard!”
“Sooner or later!”
Before Manda could finish, the colossal body was dragged forward like a child by the bone whip.
Crushing trees, carving out ravines.
“Brat, how rude.”
Orochimaru, no longer relaxed, made hand signs.
Wind Release: Great Breakthrough.
Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique.
In an instant, a wind jutsu formed a sky-piercing tornado, engulfing Naoki. The ensuing fire transformed it into a massive fire tornado.
The sky turned red!
Watching the fearsome jutsu, everyone had a single thought.
The sky is burning!
The sun barely tinted the horizon red, but Orochimaru’s immense jutsu dyed the entire mountaintop sky crimson.
This is Orochimaru, one of the Legendary Sannin.
Ah!
An inhuman scream pierced the sky as the fire tornado’s power lingered.
Was that a snake?
A white bone skewered a snake’s head, shaking it in the air for all to see.
Manda.
The famous snake summoned alongside Orochimaru was killed with ease.
“You brat.”
Orochimaru emerged from another giant snake, ignoring the slime covering him, eyes fixed on Naoki.
Despite using almost all his techniques, he couldn’t defeat Naoki and was repeatedly countered.
He’s going to lose.
This Kirigakure brat will use him as a stepping stone.
This can’t happen.
Orochimaru licked his lips, reluctantly frowning.
It must be done.
Eight Branches Technique!
Orochimaru whispered, his body swelling and transforming. Eight monstrous heads emerged atop the mountain, covering the sky.
The clouds, still red from the fire, blackened under the serpent’s breath.
This legendary serpent filled the vision of everyone still fighting desperately.
That’s a monster.
That thing.
Kirigakure ninjas were stunned, disbelieving, while Konoha ninjas cheered.
“Naoki-kun.”
“You will suffer now!”
“Not necessarily.”
Naoki infused chakra into a bone, making it grow larger.
With a wave, ice mirrors extended skyward like a pillar.
“Sometimes, being bigger doesn’t mean being stronger.”
“This ends now, Orochimaru, and this war!”
Naoki leaped into the ice mirrors, quickly ascending.
Just as the serpent lunged, he swung the giant bone.
Slash, slash, slash!
Swift strikes severed large chunks of flesh and heads, blood spraying like rain.
The massive heads fell, rolling, carving ravines, causing exclamations.
At the center, all was calm.
Orochimaru emerged from a snake, ready to fight again.
This time, he faced Naoki and countless ice needles.
Unable to dodge, Orochimaru felt his chakra freeze.
Then, a bitter smile.
“Byakugan, Ice Release, Gentle Fist?”
“Naoki-kun.”
“You’re a genius. The future may indeed belong to you.”
Naoki didn’t reply, handing over Zetsu’s arm and bone powder.
“Orochimaru-kun.”
“The future is ours.”
Orochimaru licked his lips, accepting the materials, a complex emotion in his eyes.
“Perhaps, Naoki-kun.”
“From now on, all lands to Konoha are yours.”
Naoki smiled.
“Orochimaru-kun, withdraw Konoha’s forces with your injuries.”
“I won’t pursue.”
“Konoha is too strong. Continuing is pointless.”
Feeling the loosening ice needles, Orochimaru looked at Naoki.
Mizukage, huh?
I am looking forward to our cooperation.
…
“Kushina, it’s time!”
Nara watched the eight heads fall, his expression grim, speaking to Kushina.
She nodded, her red hair wilting.
“No need.”
A gentle voice sounded beside her. Her hair flew up, and she turned excitedly, a sweet smile forming.
“Minato, you’re here.”
