As they approached, Kakashi stopped, turning to face Uchiha Ren and Uchiha Y?ju. Realizing that fleeing without understanding how they tracked him was pointless, he confronted them. They had managed to track him multiple times, indicating a method unknown to him.

Better to figure out the source of his exposure before attempting another escape.

Within moments, Ren and Y?ju arrived and stood before Kakashi, their eyes filled with anger.

“Kakashi, we hadn’t intended to kill you, but since you’ve killed Tenp?, you leave us no choice,” Ren declared coldly, his gaze icy.

“Hmph, he brought it on himself,” Kakashi smirked.

How have you been able to track my location so precisely? Kakashi asked, watching Ren closely, hoping to catch any telltale signs that might reveal their method. Without this knowledge, fleeing again would be meaningless.

“Ha! You want to know?” Ren laughed. “As long as you have that Sharingan, you’ll never escape my tracking. Unless you gouge out your eye!”

Kakashi’s face tightened at the revelation. His left Sharingan was giving away his position.

“It seems I can’t shake you off without giving up the Sharingan, then,” he said, eyes narrowing as he studied Ren’s expression, confirming the truth of his words. They weren’t trying to deceive him into discarding the Sharingan.

“That’s right! And do you think I’d let you escape again after what happened last time?” Ren’s eyes gleamed with arrogance and confidence.

“Looks like you’re forcing me to use our Hatake clan’s ultimate technique,” Kakashi responded, his gaze steely.

“The Hatake clan’s ultimate technique?” Ren and Y?ju’s eyebrows lifted in surprise.

“Kakashi, you’ve successfully angered me, and you’ll pay the price,” Ren growled, his fury evident.

“You underestimate me. Why would I waste time provoking two pigs?” Kakashi mocked.

Boom!

Two powerful bursts of chakra erupted in front of Kakashi. Ren and Y?ju, indeed angered by his words, released their full strength.

“Die!”

Ren shouted, rushing at Kakashi with kunai in hand. Y?ju followed suit, hands forming seals rapidly.

“Earth Style: Earth Splitter Palm!”

The ground cracked open, rushing towards Kakashi.

Forced into the air, Kakashi saw Ren’s kunai flying at him. The coordination between the two was flawless, making Kakashi doubt if they were truly enraged.

Kakashi desperately drew his blade, deflecting Ren’s kunai with a metallic clang.

Meanwhile, Y?ju had positioned himself below and behind Kakashi, seizing the opportunity as Kakashi was airborne and defenseless.

“Hatake clan’s ultimate technique!” Kakashi shouted, his voice echoing. “Instant Cut: Second Stage!”

Y?ju hesitated briefly, recalling the earlier taunts about the Hatake clan’s techniques. The pause gave Kakashi the moment he needed.

“Oops! I forgot I couldn’t use that technique in the air,” Kakashi exclaimed, landing smoothly and turning to face Y?ju.

“Tricked again!” Y?ju realized, anger boiling over. He’d never faced an opponent like this, one who fought unpredictably.

“I’ll kill you!” Y?ju roared, launching a fire jutsu at Kakashi.

“Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!”

But as Y?ju released the flames, Kakashi’s voice came behind him.

“Hatake clan’s ultimate technique!” Kakashi’s voice echoed once more. “Instant Cut: Second Stage!”

A chilling blade of light pierced Y?ju’s back in a straight line.
