Naruto: Konoha Silver Wolf - Chapter 39
“Mind your own business!” Tsunade frowned slightly and whispered to Shizune, not wanting to get involved.
“Let’s go over there!” Tsunade then turned and walked in the opposite direction, glancing back at Kakashi’s figure, feeling a sense of familiarity.
“Boss, that ninja has already won quite a bit and still won’t leave. Should we let Dazou teach him a lesson?”
In a luxurious room on the second floor of the casino, a bouncer spoke to a bald, overweight man lying on a sofa. Two scantily clad women beside him were massaging him. Hearing his subordinate’s words, the bald man’s expression changed slightly. He opened his narrow eyes, a cold light flashing through them.
“Winning a bit is fine, but he’s overstepping. Let Dazou warn him, and if he doesn’t leave, have Dazou…” The bald man made a throat-slitting gesture. The two women massaging him shivered slightly, fear flashing in their eyes. Clearly, this wasn’t the first time the casino boss had ordered such violence.
“Another win…” Seeing Kakashi win another stack of money, Kurosaki, standing behind him, was filled with excitement.
“Yeah! It’s about time to leave,” Kakashi thought to himself, holding the money. It was at least a million yen, enough to hurt the casino for a while.
“What’s this?” Before Kakashi could turn around, he suddenly felt a hostile gaze. He looked and saw a bald young man dressed as a ninja.
“Kid, you’ve won enough. It’s time to leave. This isn’t a place for you to mess around,” the bald young man said in a threatening tone, loud enough for only Kakashi to hear in the noisy casino.
“Hmph! They’ve hired a hothead to watch the place!” Kakashi’s expression remained unreadable, but he felt a cold disdain in his heart. He had intended to leave, but now, irritated by the man’s tone, he didn’t want to anymore.
Ignoring the threat, Kakashi continued gambling. This action made the bald young man’s mouth twitch, his eyes filled with shame and anger at being ignored.
“Everyone, we’ve had an incident that needs to be resolved. Please leave for a moment,” the bald young man said, raising his hand and loudly announcing it to the entire casino. Since Kakashi didn’t appreciate the warning, he would execute the boss’s second command.
The casino fell silent at his words, then burst into murmurs. Everyone could see that the casino was targeting Kakashi, who held a large stack of bills. Since both parties were ninjas, the onlookers quickly gathered their belongings and left.
“Sir… what should we do?” Kurosaki, frightened by the sudden turn of events, asked Kakashi with a trembling voice. Despite his fear, he didn’t run away, knowing that Kakashi was there to help him get justice.
“Just stay aside and don’t move,” Kakashi replied calmly, then looked back at the bald young man.
“What? Can’t take the loss, and now you want to kick people out?” Kakashi mocked, a cold smile forming on his lips.
“Kicking people out? Hmph, you’re dreaming. If you dare cheat in our casino, be prepared to lose a hand or a foot!” the bald young man sneered. “So, which will it be, a hand or a foot?”
“Come and take it if you can!” Kakashi retorted, his lips curling in disdain.
“Kid, don’t think you’re invincible just because you’re a ninja. Today, I’ll teach you a lesson!” Unable to contain his anger, the bald young man drew a uniquely shaped short sword and charged at Kakashi.
“Tsunade-sama, a fight broke out over there. That cheater is a ninja from Konoha!” Shizune, who had not left, informed Tsunade, noticing Kakashi’s Leaf Village forehead protector with some surprise.
“That boy is no ordinary ninja. He looks familiar,” Tsunade frowned, recognizing Kakashi’s strength and feeling an increasing sense of familiarity.
“Getting into a fight after being caught cheating, what a disgrace to Konoha!” Shizune continued disdainfully.
“Shizune, that bald guy is no match for the silver-haired kid. Go and help him!” Tsunade instructed, seeing that the bald young man was not a match for Kakashi.
“But… he’s a Konoha ninja…”
“Precisely because he’s from Konoha, he needs a good lesson!”
“Yes, Tsunade-sama!” Shizune nodded, her eyes severe, and rushed towards Kakashi.
In the midst of fighting the bald young man, Kakashi was surprised to hear movement behind him. He hadn’t expected another ninja in the casino, and this one seemed more potent than the bald young man with Chunin-level skills.
“Blade Technique: Lightning Slash!” Kicking the bald young man aside, Kakashi didn’t hesitate to draw his sword and slash at the approaching figure. With one opponent, he could afford to toy around, but with two, he needed to end the fight quickly.
Clang!
Shizune blocked Kakashi’s Lightning Slash, and Kakashi finally saw her face, his right eye twitching slightly.
“Shizune…”
