Naruto: Konoha Silver Wolf - Chapter 57
In the land of Konoha, behind the Hokage Rock, not far from the village, at the junction of the forest and the rocky mountains, a small stream of water cascades down the broken rocks, forming a tiny waterfall and a small lake below. The area is surrounded by flowers and grass, with many training grounds, wooden stakes, and targets, indicating it is a place for training.
Admiring the beautiful scenery before her, Rin couldn’t help but be enchanted, breathing in the fresh air mixed with the mist from the stream, feeling her spirit refresh.
“How do you like it? Beautiful, isn’t it?”
Seeing Rin captivated by the beauty, Kakashi smiled.
This place was the Hatake Clan’s training ground, where Kakashi usually practised his ninjutsu, taijutsu, and weapon throwing.
“Yes! It’s so beautiful! Is this where your clan trains?”
Rin nodded, excited that Kakashi had brought her to such a place. A happy smile appeared on her face.
“Yeah, from now on, if you want to train, you can do it here. It’s too boring to train alone all the time.”
Kakashi nodded.
“And a lake here should help you practice your clan’s water jutsu.”
Kakashi’s remark was a bit redundant, as there were also places with water within the village. However, this place was more beautiful. Kakashi wanted to invite Rin to stay with his clan, but since they had just started dating, he decided to wait a bit.
“Sure! I’ll train here so you won’t be bored.”
Rin smiled sweetly, playing with Kakashi’s hands.
Seeing Rin’s humorous and adorable demeanour, Kakashi felt a smile forming. He liked her even more.
“Then let’s train together here when we have time. Today is our first date, so there is no training. Let me show you around. There are many beautiful and fun places here.”
Kakashi smiled at Rin.
“Okay!”
No matter what Kakashi said, Rin nodded happily.
Taking Rin’s soft hand, Kakashi led her around the small lake, showing her the beautiful and exciting spots. Rin let Kakashi hold her hand without any objection. She had only mentioned not letting Kakashi go too far as a matter of feminine modesty.
Today was undoubtedly a pleasant day for both Kakashi and Rin. Their feelings for each other deepened because of this date, and their relationship was solidified.
When she returned to the village after the date, Rin’s expression remained one of happiness, her smile never leaving her face.
Kakashi felt similarly, though his eyes also showed excitement. Seeing the small waterfall at the clan’s training ground during the date with Rin, he finally figured out how to advance his Chidori technique.
“Advancing Chidori to Raikiri is like Naruto’s Rasengan; Chidori is the solid condensation of chakra, while Raikiri involves the change like lightning chakra. By mastering the natural transformation of lightning chakra and using it to form Chidori, it naturally becomes the advanced Raikiri.”
This principle was simple, but Kakashi had been stuck on it until now. Seeing the waterfall reminded him of Naruto’s Rasengan advancement.
“Now, I just need to ask sensei about training in lightning nature transformation.”
Kakashi murmured excitedly. Minato Namikaze would know how to train in lightning chakra nature transformation. Even if he didn’t, Jiraiya or the Third Hokage would. Kakashi wasn’t worried about them keeping it from him.
The next day, Kakashi sought out Minato Namikaze, who explained how to train in lightning chakra nature transformation. To Kakashi’s surprise, the training method was similar to wind chakra nature transformation, using water. The wind chakra requires stopping a waterfall, while the lightning chakra needs to reverse the waterfall’s flow.
Minato didn’t know precisely how to reverse the waterfall, leaving it up to Kakashi to figure out through practice.
When Kakashi found Minato, he was busy preparing to assume the role of the Fourth Hokage and couldn’t explain in detail before hurrying off.
In the following days, Kakashi, part of the Anbu, had no missions, nor did Rin. Most of Konoha’s ninjas stayed in the village because Minato Namikaze would be inaugurated as the Fourth Hokage the following Monday.
Kakashi enjoyed their free time, spending days training at the waterfall with Rin. However, he still needs to progress with the transformation of the lightning chakra nature and figure it out slowly.
Rin trained her clan’s water jutsu on the lake below the waterfall. She and Kakashi had learned tree climbing and water walking techniques from Minato Namikaze. The Third Hokage taught these techniques to the Sannin, then passed them to Jiraiya, who taught Minato and didn’t hesitate to teach Kakashi and the others.
A new week soon arrived, and Minato Namikaze was inaugurated as the Fourth Hokage in front of most of the village’s ninjas, looking incredibly handsome in the Hokage robes.
“Hokage! I wonder if I’ll ever become Hokage.”
Watching the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze, Kakashi thought with admiration. His original and current selves had always aspired to become Hokage, symbolising the highest strength and status in a ninja village.
“My goal is to become the Fifth Hokage!”
Watching Minato, Kakashi silently decided. Clenching his fists, he resolved to work hard towards this goal. Unlike the original Kakashi, he wouldn’t be lazy. He had promised Tsunade he would become Hokage, and as a man, he would keep his word!
