Naruto: Konoha Silver Wolf - Chapter 78
“Ah… Ah… Ah…”
Desperate screams and cries of agony echoed through the village. Wherever there was a scream, there was blood spraying, and a lifeless body left behind.
An hour later, the once noise-filled Den Village fell into a deadly silence. Kakashi had slaughtered every man, woman, and child. No one was spared.
Emerging from the village, Kakashi looked like a blood-soaked spectre. His once silver hair was now entirely crimson, stained with the blood of his enemies and the villagers.
Kakashi left the village gate, emanating an aura of icy coldness and brutal killing intent. The overwhelming bloodlust surrounding him would terrify any ordinary person to death.
“Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!”
Turning back to glance at Den Village, Kakashi formed a series of hand seals and unleashed a massive fireball. The fireball crashed into the village, setting it ablaze.
Whoosh!
Flames spread rapidly, engulfing the village in less than half an hour.
Watching the village consumed by fire, Kakashi finally turned and walked away, disappearing into the distance.
“The mission to annihilate the entire Den Village is finally complete,” Kakashi thought as he left. It was his first time carrying out such a complete annihilation mission.
As he left, Kakashi could feel a change within himself. He had become colder and more ruthless in battle.
When Kakashi returned to his home village, Rin was startled by the aura surrounding him. Despite having been on the battlefield for years, she had never felt such intense killing intent from Kakashi.
“Kakashi, what happened this time?” Rin asked, her voice filled with worry. Though his aura frightened her, she was more concerned about him.
“Nothing. A good night’s sleep, and I’ll be fine,” Kakashi replied with a faint smile, his killing intent slightly reined in.
Even as he spoke, Kakashi couldn’t help but think about the strange look in Danzo’s eyes when he reported the mission.
“Let me take you home, Kakashi,” Rin said, her concern evident.
“Sure! It’d be even better if you stayed the night,” Kakashi teased with a mischievous grin.
“Hmph! No way. You think you can have your way with me so soon? Dream on!” Rin’s face turned a light shade of red, but she preferred this more relaxed Kakashi to the one who had come back drenched in blood.
“Come on, Rin. We’re not kids anymore. Sensei was just exaggerating to scare us,” Kakashi complained, pretending to be hurt.
“I don’t care. I’m not staying over,” Rin insisted, her face still flushed.
“Fine, but can you at least help me bathe? I have a lot of wounds on my back that I can’t reach,” Kakashi asked, silently cursing Kushina for her warnings.
“Ah… okay,” Rin agreed, her concern for Kakashi’s injuries overcoming her embarrassment.
Back at Kakashi’s house, Rin gasped upon seeing the numerous wounds on his body. She quickly set to work, carefully cleaning and bandaging the injuries, her worry evident in her eyes.
“Kakashi, can you tell me about your mission?” Rin asked softly as she tended to his wounds, unable to suppress her curiosity and concern.
“Sure, just keep it between us. We don’t want Danzo finding out,” Kakashi said with a smile, feeling more at ease.
Kakashi began recounting his mission to Rin. As she listened, her heart ached for him. She couldn’t believe he had gone through such a dangerous ordeal. The wounds on his body told a story of their own, each a testament to the fierce battle he had survived.
When Rin reached the deep gash on his shoulder, tears welled up in her eyes. She could barely hold back her emotions, knowing how close Kakashi had come to death.
“Kakashi, promise me you won’t take on such dangerous missions anymore,” Rin pleaded, her voice breaking.
“I promise, Rin. No more dangerous missions,” Kakashi assured her, his heart aching at the sight of her distress.
“Good. If you break your promise, I’ll… I’ll cut this thing off!” Rin threatened, grabbing Kakashi’s now hardened member. She wasn’t as shy around him anymore, but the sight of his injuries filled her with fierce protectiveness.
“Ah… of course, Rin. I’d never lie to you,” Kakashi said, a mix of pleasure and pain in his voice.
“You know, Rin, as a medical ninja, you understand that letting this situation go unresolved could be bad for my health. Maybe you could help me out?” Kakashi suggested, his eyes filled with a playful glint despite his pain.
