Naruto System in Jujutsu Kaisen - Chapter 1
Pain!
It hurts!
My eyes hurt!
My eyes are burning. Something is gathering in my eyes, like ants gnawing at the blood vessels in my eyeballs.
The intense pain jolted Yuchenluo awake. He immediately covered his eyes with his hands and started to wail.
He didn’t understand why his eyes hurt so much after just a nap. Could it be from looking at his phone too much?
“Liuyang, my eyes hurt. Call 120 quickly,” he shouted.
But no one responded. The surroundings were unusually quiet, with only a gentle breeze blowing through his black hair at the temples.
Yuchenluo thought Liuyang might be sleeping too deeply, so he shouted again, “Stop sleeping, Liuyang, call 120 for me.”
“Liuyang?”
Liuyang’s lack of response made Yuchenluo uneasy. They had been talking about their dreams and future before sleeping, so why was Liuyang gone when he woke up, and why did his eyes hurt so much?
He tried to get up, but felt a granular surface beneath him. As he groped around, he also felt a sticky substance, like a liquid with residual warmth.
He retracted his right hand, soaked in the liquid, and sniffed it. Finding no odor, he instinctively licked it and tasted a slightly salty, metallic flavor.
As a medical student, he knew it was the taste of blood. But why would there be blood after a nap? Could it be Liuyang’s?
No!
Impossible!
This was a medical school, where everyone’s future was bright. How could there be a murder? Moreover, the ground texture felt different; the dormitory had clean floor tiles, but here it was gravel.
Where am I?
What is this place?
A nameless fear made him shut his mouth, afraid to speak loudly, fearing the murderers might still be nearby and come back to finish him off.
Yuchenluo endured the excruciating pain in his eyes and continued to feel around, trying to make sense of his situation.
After all, eye pain wouldn’t kill him. But if the murderers returned to clean up, he would definitely die!
He had to leave quickly. He was only 18, with a bright future ahead, and couldn’t die here.
He touched the stone wall with both hands, moving around. Perhaps due to panic, he accidentally bumped into some steps and fell heavily to the ground, making a dull thud.
Damn!
The impact hit Yuchenluo’s head, and warm liquid started to flow from his forehead. In a daze, many unfamiliar memories flooded his mind.
A kind and gentle woman and a man who always read newspapers. They spoke fluent Japanese and looked at him with kind eyes.
What is this?
He felt like an audience member in a cinema, watching these unfamiliar yet familiar memories. The pain in his eyes gradually subsided.
He didn’t know how long it took, but he finished watching the memories belonging to “himself” from a third-person perspective.
His parents were brutally killed by a monster, and he had killed the monster in return. But why did that monster seem familiar…
Yuchenluo slowly opened his eyes and saw the gruesome scene before him. Black gas filled the air, and he didn’t know what it was, nor did he want to touch it since it marked the monster’s death spot.
The only thing that gave him some peace was that he was currently safe, with no murderers around. But whether there were more monsters nearby was uncertain.
Looking at the ruined house and the corpses of his “parents,” Yuchenluo furrowed his brow slightly, but tears streamed down his face uncontrollably. His lips opened involuntarily, saying, “I’m sorry, I couldn’t save you.”
This apology might have been due to the original owner’s memories, making the body feel sorrow. He also started to feel uncontrollable fear.
As he squatted in the corner to rest, a light, mocking voice came from the side:
“Yo,
did you… kill your parents?” The quiet night was shattered by this voice, like a fuse lighting a bomb. Yuchenluo, engulfed in sorrow, was terrified. His black pupils turned scarlet, staring at the newcomer, and he clenched a broken brick in his right hand.
He was tall, with his eyes covered by a white cloth, and his silver hair swayed in the wind. He resembled a character from some anime in his memories.
“Satoru Gojo?”
Yuchenluo said instinctively.
“Oh! You know me?”
Satoru Gojo looked slightly surprised at the boy before him. His red pupils had a black tomoe rotating within them. He could feel the immense cursed energy in those eyes.
Interesting!
“Hey, want to join Jujutsu High?”
“Jujutsu High?”
Yuchenluo released the broken brick in his right hand and looked at Satoru Gojo. He breathed a sigh of relief. Was it an illusion? Just now, he could clearly feel his vision slow down, but now it was back to normal. He realized what kind of world he had come to:
*Jujutsu Kaisen*.
A world where cursed spirits are created from negative emotions. But why did he come here?
The conditions for crossing over didn’t seem right. Others get transported by a truck, but why did he come here so inexplicably?
Never mind, those things don’t matter. Joining Jujutsu High is the priority, or he might die a horrible death. Seeking shelter was his immediate concern.
Yuchenluo took a deep breath, glanced at his parents’ bodies on the ground, and said, “Can I bury them first?”
“Sure,” Satoru Gojo replied.
Satoru Gojo watched the boy carrying the bodies. His eyes didn’t show grief or hatred; they were calm, and his previously scarlet pupils had turned black, the cursed energy receding into his body.
Unexpectedly, a good seedling was found while out for a midnight snack. If nurtured, he could become very strong!
Yuchenluo picked up a shovel from the house and began digging the blood-soaked ground. Halfway through, he remembered that a death certificate was needed for burial.
“…”
He turned to the onlooking Satoru Gojo and asked, “Can you help me with my parents’ funeral? I’m not good at this.”
“Huh? A funeral?”
Satoru Gojo scratched his head, thought for a moment, and asked, “Don’t you have any relatives?”
“Relatives…” Yuchenluo closed his eyes tightly, searching the original owner’s memories, finding that the relatives didn’t live in Tokyo, and he didn’t know their contact numbers. How would he get a death certificate?
This was a legal society, where death required a death certificate from the local government. But how would he explain this?
Supernatural event?
Parents died mysteriously while he survived?
Wait…
This situation should be handled by professional jujutsu sorcerers!
Yuchenluo looked at Satoru Gojo and said, “How do I explain this? That my parents were killed by an ugly monster?”
“You’re quite cold-blooded, aren’t you? Your parents just died before your eyes,” Satoru Gojo grinned, showing his white teeth, and asked, “Did they not treat you well?”
“No,” Yuchenluo shook his head, “They treated me very well. It’s just that I feel a strange sadness inside but can’t cry. It’s a peculiar feeling.”
“I see…”
Satoru Gojo took out his phone, made a call, gave an address, and hung up. He then asked the boy before him, “What’s your name?”
Yuchenluo directly gave the name of the original owner of this body:
“My name is Natsubi Raku.”
