*Cough, cough…*
Accompanied by a slightly bitter cough, a pale but handsome figure stepped arrogantly out of the simple courtyard gate.
Ha~~~tui!
With a casual spit, Uchiha Jin expelled some blood-flecked phlegm onto the lion-dog statue at the gate, cleared his throat, and cast a disdainful glance back.
Trash!
You’re both trash!
I’m done pretending, not that there was any need to hide it. I just despise you both. What will you do about it?
Two supposed Kage-level powerhouses and neither of you could subdue a mere elite Jounin like me. Ultimately, the mighty Uchiha Great Elder even sported a panda eye, and our clan head had to endure a low blow to the groin.
Hmm!
No wonder you’re called the Fierce Eye. I, Uchiha Jin, acknowledge you as the fiercest in the world!
When Jin remembered the twisted, vicious glint in Uchiha Fugaku’s eyes, even though he considered himself a mastermind, he couldn’t help but shiver.
However, despite this grudging respect, it couldn’t erase Jin’s profound disdain for their incompetence.
True.
Jin wasn’t an elite Jounin; his visual prowess was about fifty percent stronger than a typical three-tomoe Sharingan.
Even though he was proficient in Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Yin Release, Fire Release, and Lightning Release, his overall strength fell short of a true Kage-level fighter.
In essence.
Without revealing all his trump cards and combining the power of his system’s storage of Sharingan and chakra reserves, Fugaku or Setsuna alone could kill him.
But these two fools!
Even when fighting the same enemy, they constantly interfered with each other, always holding back, trying merely to capture Jin, and unwilling to use techniques that might severely injure him.
Did they think they were facing some god…
*Cough, cough…*
Did they think they were Uchiha Madara? Did they believe Jin was a dance partner they could easily handle? Did they mistake the legendary perceptive powers of the Sharingan for farsightedness?
Spit!
Jin scoffed inwardly, unable to fathom how such incompetent leaders kept emerging in this straightforward, strength-oriented Uchiha clan.
Disagreements? Conflicts? Grudges?
An average Uchiha would settle these with a straightforward fight.
Whether they beat their opponent into submission or themselves lay down in defeat, even gaining mutual respect, this was the authentic warrior way of the Uchiha.
Like the chaotic warring states era between the Senju and the Uchiha, they lacked even this fundamental historical insight—no wonder the Uchiha had grown so weak under their leadership.
Once you bow your spine, standing back up becomes impossible!
Because Fugaku and Setsuna had grown accustomed to compromise, Jin, with his quasi-Kage strength, could humiliate them, dragging a sack filled with thirty million ryo as he casually walked away.
*Cough, cough…tui~~~
Another phlegm-laden cough followed, spat onto another lion-dog statue outside the courtyard. A shadow of malice flickered in Jin’s eyes.
Although he despised the two inside, he knew his strength was insufficient. Even with the combat experience of two elite Jounin and three elite Chuunin, he still needed to catch up to the actual Kage level.
He held his own against the two only because they held back and disagreed. With his Sharingan’s superior perception, he barely managed a stalemate.
*Tsk, tsk…still not strong enough…*
Jin sighed inwardly. In this profoundly complex ninja world, having to struggle this hard against two incompetents wasn’t enough to give him a sense of security!
Would he rely on hard training alone if he faced internal and external threats?
Impossible!
He would never rely solely on hard training. He would leverage his talents and efforts…and inherit the legacies of fallen Uchiha heroes. But even this had pushed him to his physical limits.
No!
The intensity of clan training needed to increase by thirty percent, and the Uchiha Strengthening Plan must be implemented quickly. He couldn’t let those two fools inside ruin everything…
Hmm…
Those two inside were indeed useless, but shouldn’t they be strengthened, too?
Hmm… Fugaku already had the Mangekyou Sharingan, making further strengthening difficult. However, learning should never stop, and he had to ensure Fugaku learned more before someone inevitably killed him.
As for Setsuna?
Despite his apparent age and decline, his Kage-level strength indicated considerable talent. Could he still be salvaged?
Hmm…where to start…
The Radical Faction!
Jin thought of Elder Setsuna’s unique role, and a strange idea popped into his mind.
If he called a clan meeting to condemn Setsuna’s “cowardice,” casting him down from his proudest position, could the psychological blow awaken his Mangekyou Sharingan?
Possible, but unlikely…
Or could reverse psychology work?
For example, instead of condemnation, he could express profound disappointment in the Radical Faction and then lead the clan to pledge allegiance to the village’s higher-ups openly. This kind of shock might be equally effective.
Or perhaps the direct approach wasn’t the answer; maybe he needed to try a different tactic.
Such as a staged, traumatic event—Setsuna, the old stickler, might…
*Cough, cough!*
Shaking off the dirty thoughts, Jin figured he’d think more about specific plans later. Even a useless pawn still had value.
“Hahahahahaha…”
In the not-so-busy Uchiha district, Jin’s hearty laughter quickly drew attention from passersby.
However, their attention didn’t last long. Under Jin’s predatory gaze, they lowered their heads and hurried away.
Jin didn’t care. Most ordinary clan members had little training and were temporarily useless to him.
Hmm!
The plan for the entire Uchiha clan to train needed to be expedited…
With these thoughts echoing in his mind, Jin continued his steady and determined pace toward the central plaza of the Uchiha district.
It was time for the Uchiha to rise!
