With a resolute look in Shisui’s eyes, Danzo suddenly emerged from the shadows, bypassing Susanoo’s protection. He reached out his left hand, ready to seize the precious remaining Mangekyou Sharingan.

A silver flash descended from the sky, instantly striking Danzo and sending him flying. The already fragile Susanoo shattered entirely in that instant.
“How is this possible!”
Danzo, who had thought victory was within his grasp, clutched his chest in pain, staring in disbelief at the handsome figure that had suddenly appeared.

With the powerful Izanagi protecting him, even Hiruzen Sarutobi couldn’t stop him, let alone a mere Uchiha Jin.

But with most of the Root ninjas now gathered here, despite the heavy losses in trying to kill Shisui, their numbers weren’t overwhelmingly inferior to the Uchiha.

Jin cast a fleeting glance at the wary Danzo and the Root ninjas, thinking that Danzo must not honestly believe that he had hesitated to act because of Hiruzen.
It was merely to create a rift between the Leaf clans and the Hokage faction, giving Jin a buffer period to grow stronger.

But now, seeing Shisui barely clinging to life and realising that Danzo was no longer valid, Jin had no intention of wasting time arguing.

On Jin’s command, Uchiha Yu and Uchiha Tunan became two sharp blades, leading the Uchiha clan members in an unhesitating charge toward Danzo and the Root ninjas.
As Jin had said, driven by personal hatred for Danzo and the clan’s enmity towards Root, the Uchiha had only one thought.

Though Danzo couldn’t believe Jin would kill them without a word, his battlefield experience quickly kicked in. He immediately began commanding the Root ninjas to counterattack.

Countless streams of water and fire collided, exploding in a thick mist that shrouded the battlefield.
Silver and fiery glints flashed in the hot, misty air, accompanied by metal tearing through flesh, the cries of pained ninjas, and the cold, decisive commands of battle.
This is war!
Now somewhat recovered, Shisui’s eyes were filled with unbearable pain—not because of his lost Sharingan or his numerous wounds, but because of the Konoha factions fighting each other.
His attempt to prevent conflict had ironically become the reason for a war.
“Do you know?”
As Shisui sank deeper into guilt, Jin’s indifferent voice suddenly echoed in his ears.
Turning with difficulty, Shisui saw Jin standing gracefully amidst the fire and mist, appearing serene and detached, like a sage who had transcended worldly concerns.
“It is often those well-meaning wishes that push things into the abyss of hell!”
Jin’s expression was calm and unburdened as he sat beside Shisui, quietly observing this struggling soul with a hint of curiosity.
A shiver ran through Shisui, realising something profound, but he had no time to ponder it.
“Jin… Danzo… Danzo took my… Mangekyou… He wants to control Hokage-sama… you must stop him!”
Struggling to speak, Shisui coughed up blood, his life force fading fast. Despite knowing Jin was the least likely to heed his request, Shisui still pleaded with his ‘Jade Breaker’ clan member.
“Those Root ninjas… they are innocent… they’re just being… manipulated…”
Sigh…
Seeing Shisui still in such a state, even now, Jin felt a mix of mockery and admiration.
But it didn’t matter anymore…
“That’s enough!”
Jin grabbed the kunai embedded in Shisui’s chest, silencing his weak murmurs.
“Don’t… forget about me… you must… retrieve my eye…”
Shisui thought Jin intended to heal him, but he had already resigned himself to death. His only concern was securing his eye to prevent further chaos.
“Don’t…”
With a tearing sound, the kunai cut through flesh, and Shisui lost his last breath.

Finally… he’s dead.
