But the overwhelming aura of the Uchiha was entirely unexpected. Even though he had achieved his intended outcome, he couldn’t find any joy.
**”Danzo’s crimes are heinous, and these ‘Root’ members are his accomplices. The Police Force has deemed them rogue ninjas. Acting Hokage, you have no objections, right?”**
Jin walked up to Hiruzen, a mocking expression on his face as he pointed at the twisted countenance of Danzo Shimura.
**Hypocritical Hiruzen Sarutobi! Evil Uchiha brat!**
Danzo’s wrinkled face turned even paler, looking like a ghoul from the depths of hell.
His hopes of becoming Hokage were dashed, and he had been publicly declared a rogue ninja. This erased all his years of efforts in the darkness to achieve greatness.
Seeing Hiruzen in his righteous glory was more painful than death for Danzo!
**”No! Objections!”**
When Hiruzen firmly uttered these words, Danzo felt like his heart had been stabbed. The betrayal and resentment overwhelmed him.
I will survive this!
The more resentful Danzo felt, the more apparent his mind became.
Danzo prepared to sacrifice all his ‘Root’ members because he couldn’t afford to fall here. With the miraculous effects of Izanagi, escaping wasn’t entirely impossible.

**”Since the Acting Hokage has no objections, I don’t mind giving them a chance!”**
Jin’s face lit up with a smile, his every mention of “Acting Hokage” dripping with sarcasm. But his words surprised everyone.

Feeling the confused gazes upon him, Jin’s killing intent grew even colder and more terrifying.
**”A blood battle!”**
Jin’s cold eyes swept over Hiruzen and the gathered ninja clan leaders before settling on the surrounded Root members and Danzo.
**”The Uchiha only respect the strong, and we are willing to give the strong a chance!”**
**”In the name of the honor of the Uchiha, I offer you a chance to live. If any of you can kill an Uchiha in a duel, I guarantee you can escape Konoha alive!”**
As soon as Jin finished speaking, Fugaku Setsuna and even Hiruzen couldn’t help but exclaim in shock.
**”Jin?”**
**”Jin!”**
Hiruzen was infuriated by the blatant disregard for Konoha’s rules and the mockery in Jin’s tone. Fugaku and Setsuna, however, saw no need for such a risky move that could endanger their clan members and sow seeds of trouble for the future.
However…
**”Does the Uchiha fear death?”**
Ignoring Fugaku and Setsuna, Jin turned to the still-enthusiastic Uchiha behind him.
**”No!”**
Their unified response shook the heavens. With this firm answer, Jin paid no further heed to Fugaku and strode towards the surrounded Danzo and his men.
**”Evil Uchiha brat!”**
Danzo had considered using the chaos to let his men break through and escape. He planned to use explosive tags and the Aburame clan’s insect techniques as cover to flee. However, Jin’s unexpected proposal made him pause and look at the approaching young man with surprise.
**”What… not planning to flee like a rat in the gutter?”**
Jin’s face was full of mocking smiles, his fingers thoughtfully stroking his chin as if waiting for Danzo to entertain him with his desperate escape.
**”Damn it!”**
Veins bulged on Danzo’s forehead as unprecedented humiliation made him tremble. But he knew that this might be his only chance.
**”That’s right!”**
Feeling Danzo’s rising resentment, Jin was filled with satisfaction.
Simply crushing Danzo would be too easy!
Jin would deliver true justice only by destroying his hopes and then obliterating him with overwhelming force.
**”So… hahaha…”**
Jin covered his forehead with one hand and let out his trademark mad laugh.
**”Since you don’t want to flee like a rat, I don’t mind generously giving you a chance!”**
Jin’s gaze swept over the remaining Root members, finally landing on Danzo’s twisted face.
**”Now, entertain me with your pitiful lives and sweet blood!”**
As Jin’s crazed voice echoed through the scene, a powerful aura of fear spread from him, making everyone feel its oppressive weight.
