Naruto: This Uchiha is too Evil - Chapter 16
The renowned kunoichi, known for her mature and charming demeanor, now resembled an orchid in a serene valley.
Serenity!
Tranquility!
It made Itsuki feel very comfortable.
Y?hi Kurenai, no, Uchiha Kurenai, was excellent, but…
“Sigh, no one’s here to see me.”
“Who?”
With a playful smile, Kurenai asked, “Who are you waiting for?”
“My girlfriend… or should I say, girlfriends!”
“Ugh!”
Kurenai promptly stuffed a piece of apple into Itsuki’s throat.
Itsuki’s body shuddered with excitement, and after swallowing it with difficulty, he lay back on the bed.
“Hmph!”
Kurenai snorted, her beautiful face full of displeasure.
However, seeing the red-stained bandages, her heart softened again.
“You, always fooling around. Don’t you know how anxious everyone is about the Mangekyo Sharingan? Yet you dare to tease them. Aren’t you worried they might get angry and harm you?”
She complained softly;
Both Itsuki and her came from notable backgrounds, their Konoha elders wielding power and influence.
Unfortunately!
Both of their older generations were no longer around.
Out of sight, out of mind!
Just like that Jinchuriki, Uzumaki Naruto!
He was once the prince of Konoha, and now, isn’t he a target of everyone?
To Kurenai, now that Itsuki and Shisui were injured, they should adopt a softer stance.
Chewing on the apple, Itsuki mumbled, “If I don’t tease them, who knows how they’d pester me.”
“And now?”
“Now? Now they are worried I’ll go pester them!”
Kurenai chuckled, “And what about the Mangekyo Sharingan?”
Itsuki responded leisurely, “What does the Mangekyo Sharingan have to do with me?”
“What do you mean?” Kurenai was taken aback. “The Uchiha lost two pairs of Mangekyo Sharingan. Do you think they’ll let it go? The village won’t agree either.”
She no longer mentioned retrieving the eyes.
Whoever could defeat Shisui and Itsuki in the Uchiha’s core area and take the Mangekyo Sharingan had enormous power. Getting them back would be tough!
At least, they would need to wait until Itsuki and Shisui were equipped with three-tomoe Sharingan to have a chance.
Additionally, she had a faint suspicion in her mind.
Itsuki chuckled softly, “The village is unhappy, the Uchiha are dissatisfied, they can deal with the Hokage and Danzo, just don’t come to me.”
“The Hokage and Danzo?”
Kurenai was again taken aback.
Itsuki hinted, “Yes, don’t forget about Wood Release!”
Kurenai was still puzzled.
Itsuki had to explain, “Wood Release is unique to the Senju clan, just like the Sharingan is to the Uchiha.”
Kurenai interrupted, “Kakashi!”
“Can Hatake Kakashi be the same?”
Itsuki shook his head and pursed his lips, “Kakashi was an extremely talented ninja back in the day. He became a Jonin at twelve. In the entire history of Konoha, how many are like that? Yet, a single Sharingan has troubled him immensely. Try someone else, and they might end up joining Kakashi’s father.”
The Sharingan constantly drains Kakashi’s chakra.
Without Kakashi’s exceptional talent, he would have collapsed long ago.
And Itsuki’s Sharingan was a Mangekyo!
Who knows, they might fit it and immediately faint.
Danzo balanced the Sharingan’s power by having numerous cells from Hashirama’s body.
“Continue!”
“Crunch!”
Itsuki took another bite of the apple and said, “Wood Release belongs to Senju Hashirama. Unfortunately, the Senju clan has been dismantled and merged into Konoha. Now, suddenly, a Wood Release user appears. What do you think people will think?”
“Or, let me ask you this…”
Itsuki had a strange expression;
“A Wood Release user appears. Who do you think they would belong to?”
Kurenai almost blurted out, “The Anbu and Root!”
Being a secret technique unique to the First Hokage, Wood Release, once it appears, would draw the attention of the entire ninja world.
Yet, before Itsuki was injured, there wasn’t a hint of this.
Who had that kind of power?
Only the two most influential people in Konoha could hide this from everyone.
Kurenai’s delicate face changed, “Is it really them?”
Itsuki didn’t answer, just continued to munch on the apple, then looked out the window, “Visiting a patient without bringing gifts? Jiraiya-sensei!”
A figure appeared in the window frame.
It was Jiraiya, with the oil symbol on his forehead.
Seeing Itsuki with bandages over his eyes, his brows furrowed, and he said helplessly, “How did it come to this?”
“It’s a long story…”
“Then don’t say it!”
Jiraiya stared intensely at him, “Is the Wood Release thing real?”
“Jiraiya-sensei, we have a good relationship, so I’ll seriously tell you something, and you must remember it!”
Itsuki’s expression was solemn.
Jiraiya, however, felt a faint sadness.
Itsuki, do you know?
When you are serious, it only makes you seem more unreliable, or rather…
You’re planning something again!
Good relationship?
Your specialty is backstabbing friends!
“Konoha indeed has a Wood Release user, and they wear a mask. I didn’t get a clear look, but I’m sure they belong to either Root or the Anbu!”
Itsuki raised his middle finger, “I swear in the name of Uchiha Madara.”
Jiraiya’s serious expression froze, staring at the middle finger, “I would have believed you if you didn’t say that.”
Kurenai also smacked Itsuki.
Raising a middle finger, what are you implying?
Itsuki exclaimed, “Jiraiya-sensei, does Uchiha Madara have no credibility in your eyes?”
Jiraiya grumpily replied, “You’ve cursed Uchiha Madara countless times before me.”
He had spent more time with Itsuki than with Orochimaru.
Because they had to write novels while peeping… ahem, finding inspiration.
During this process, Itsuki cursed Uchiha Madara almost daily.
The most memorable line for Jiraiya was: Cursing Uchiha Madara should go against the flow of time upward, and downward might even curse our family.
You still remember he’s your ancestor, huh?
Sometimes, Jiraiya felt quite helpless.
Even though Uchiha Madara was a traitor, he couldn’t deny he was a great ninja who played a significant role in Konoha’s foundation. Why was Itsuki so disdainful of him?
“You better watch yourself!” Jiraiya warned, “The Mangekyo Sharingan involves a lot, be careful or you might lose your life.”
“Don’t worry, as long as Jiraiya-sensei is alive, I’ll be fine.”
Jiraiya’s face darkened, “I forgot you dared to kick me.”
And!
I kicked my face!
Unforgivable!
“If you didn’t say, I’d have forgotten too.” Itsuki grinned, “Jiraiya-sensei got to see Tsunade-sensei up close… Tsk tsk, fulfilling your dream, didn’t you feel like you could die without regrets?”
“Rubbish!”
Jiraiya couldn’t help but jump up and curse, “That wasn’t even Tsunade, she noticed us long ago. It was just a genjutsu. She was just toying with us, and I got beaten up for nothing.”
On the side, Kurenai said softly, “I remember Tsunade-sensei isn’t good at genjutsu. How could a Mangekyo user and a Sannin fall for it?”
Itsuki twitched.
Jiraiya’s face turned black.
