Naruto: This Uchiha is too Evil - Chapter 33
Fugaku’s low voice snapped Itsuki out of his thoughts. He yawned, looking a bit tired. “Everyone, I’m going to sleep now. I just had an eye transplant, and I’m a bit exhausted, so let’s make this quick.”
He turned to Fugaku. “The number of Sarutobi clan ninjas should be between two thousand and three thousand. If you want specifics, I suggest you ask Sarutobi Hiruzen himself. He probably knows better than I do.”
Fugaku’s eye twitched. Of course, he knows better than you!
“How do you know this?” Zongyi couldn’t help but question. They, as elders, were unaware of this information. How could this carefree young genius know?
Itsuki looked indifferent. “Believe it or not, do you think I care?”
“You…”
Zongyi was momentarily at a loss for words, his face darkening.
Setsuna watched with a faint smile. Itsuki was never one to let things go quickly. Setsuna’s impression of Uchiha Itsuki was that he always repaid any slight against him.
Since Zongyi categorised him as a dove, he should have supported him. But what happened? Danzo attacked Itsuki, and Zongyi forgave Danzo on his behalf!
The punishment was removing Danzo’s position as the Hokage’s advisor and house arrest. But whether Danzo’s position was removed was just a word from Sarutobi Hiruzen. And house arrest? The guards were Sarutobi’s men. Letting him out would also be just a word from Sarutobi. This punishment was insignificant.
Yet Zongyi agreed to it. Setsuna secured the compensation.
Itsuki might not care about Danzo’s ambush, but how could Zongyi forgive him on Itsuki’s behalf?
In agreeing to make peace, Zongyi severed his relationship with Itsuki.
Realising this, Zongyi’s face grew even darker, but he still didn’t think he was wrong. With the current tumultuous state of Konoha, if the Uchiha wanted to integrate into the village, backing down now was the best strategy to show their attitude to the town.
Zongyi still harboured anger at Fugaku and Setsuna for ruining his plan. You asked for compensation, making everything futile.
Itsuki didn’t care about their thoughts. He was now a man with the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
He had the strength to take on the entire village, whether it was a single monkey or a troop of them. He didn’t care. He had his plans. As for others, he gave them opportunities; whether they could seize them was up to them.
Itsuki yawned again. “Alright, you can all leave now. Shisui and Itachi, you can go too. I’ve already transplanted my eyes; no need to worry about my safety.”
He ignored the others and walked into the room, leaving the rest to ponder.
“I’m leaving too,” Fugaku said, his voice heavy, and turned to leave.
Setsuna glanced at him and followed. After becoming clan leader, Fugaku faced significant pressure. Initially aligning with Zongyi and supporting the dovish faction, he realised that constant concessions did not make Hiruzen and the others back off. He began to lean towards the hawkish faction, adopting a stricter stance externally.
The attack on Itsuki intensified his thoughts of a coup. But hearing about the three thousand Sarutobi ninjas made him hesitate.
What about the Shimura clan if the Sarutobi clan had so many ninjas? The Koharu clan? The Mitokado clan? These four were so close they might as well share a bed.
Conservatively, each clan might have around a thousand ninjas. Unlike other clans’ ninjas, who might hesitate to oppose the Uchiha, these would undoubtedly become enemies.
Suddenly faced with thousands of additional ninja enemies, Fugaku couldn’t help but feel anxious. He needed to discuss this with Setsuna, even though he didn’t like him.
Itachi pulled Shisui away, not letting him speak.
Only Uchiha Zongyi remained. His face grew darker.
Was he being ostracised? Hadn’t he given enough for the Uchiha? especially recently, dealing with both Hiruzen and the angry Uchiha within the clan. He was exhausted, yet Itsuki was so ungrateful. And the others seemed to blame him, too.
“Fine, you’re all so great,” Zongyi muttered, turning away. His lonely figure seemed even more solitary.
…
After entering the room, Itsuki picked up Kurenai and headed to the bedroom without a word. Just one thought: Action!
Kurenai sighed helplessly. “Can’t you be human?”
“Hehe, in front of you, I’m not human.”
…
“Itachi, why did you pull me away? Why didn’t you let me speak?” Shisui finally couldn’t hold back after Itachi led him to a secluded spot. He trusted Itachi enough to let him take him there.
“Do you believe in the three thousand Sarutobi troops?”
Itachi’s first question made Shisui’s breath catch.
“Impossible, absolutely impossible!” Shisui’s face twisted, “Itachi, are you doubting the Hokage? He’s a true ninja, dedicated to Konoha. What’s his greatest belief? The Will of Fire!”
Itachi silently watched Shisui vent. Once he calmed down, Itachi spoke, “Shisui, do you doubt Itsuki?”
“Isn’t he a true ninja? Doesn’t he embody the Will of Fire?”
Shisui was stunned, angrily retorting, “Itachi, you’ve changed.”
Using his own words against him—Itachi never would have done this before.
“That’s the reality,” Itachi shrugged, his words hinting at Itsuki’s style, “Do you trust your brother or the Hokage? Think about recent events before you answer. If you give me the same answer as before, I’ll laugh at you, Shisui.”
Shisui was left speechless.
“What do you mean, Itachi!” Shisui turned, glaring at Itachi.
Itachi’s eyes revealed the three-tomoe Sharingan, radiating intense power.
“I will use my eyes to see this village. From now on, I won’t trust anyone’s words. I will see it with my own eyes!”
“With these eyes, I will see through everything!”
As Itachi finished, his eyes connected, forming a new pattern. At that moment, Itachi underwent a fundamental change.
Inside Kurenai’s room, Itsuki, who was passionately engaged, froze. A peculiar smile spread across his lips.
Mangekyo Sharingan!
Without Shisui’s death, Itachi awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan through sheer will. Interesting! Very interesting!
This Mangekyo held the powers of Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu. Itsuki had thought it would never appear.
“Not bad, Itachi. I believe in you. Strive to become the clan leader soon!”
“This time, where will your blade turn? The clan or Sarutobi?”
Smiling, Itsuki resumed his efforts.
