Naruto: This Uchiha is too Evil - Chapter 35
According to Itsuki, his eyes and brain were not functioning correctly. As for Soji, that old fool was even worse. His sole focus was to integrate the clan into Konoha, which gradually turned into pandering to the Hokage’s faction. In Itsuki’s view, anything that benefited the village was acceptable to Soji, even if it meant severe disadvantages for the Uchiha. The worst part was that Soji didn’t realize it and firmly believed he was acting in Uchiha’s best interest.
Danzo was likely under house arrest now. The Hokage had ordered it, and even if he was just pretending, he had to stay locked up for a few days! If Danzo was causing trouble now, it was not just a slap in the face to the Hokage but a real challenge to the village’s patience.
After thinking it over for a long time, Itsuki concluded that such manipulative tactics could only be the work of Uchiha Setsuna.
Previously, Setsuna had been quite blunt—fighting against everyone and everything. After being reprimanded several times, he learned to adapt. In simple terms, Uchiha Setsuna had become someone who would stop at nothing to achieve his goals. Regardless of whether it was good or bad, he only cared about the results. His power increased due to his advanced age and influence within the Uchiha, coupled with the strained relations between the village and the clan. The Konoha Police Force’s attempts to stop him were more like a performance, resulting in a backlash.
As a result, the rumor that the Uchiha had five thousand ninjas spread like wildfire. Sometimes, if a lie is repeated enough, it becomes accepted as the truth. Initially, I didn’t believe it, but you did, he did, and if I didn’t think it, wouldn’t I be out of step?
“You have no idea how weird the looks from other ninjas are when I walk down the street,” complained Uchiha Mokujin, sitting on the sofa opposite Itsuki.
Next to him was another young ninja, nodding along—Uchiha Nanto! They were Itsuki’s hidden cards. Two Jonins from the Uchiha! Jonin from the Uchiha clan were never to be taken lightly, and their presence made executing plans easier.
This was the muscle Itsuki had just shown publicly today. Whether others accepted it or not… well, Itsuki, who now possessed the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, didn’t care. Accept it or not—just try to stop me! With my power, I’ll crush you all!
“Bear with it, you’re a Jonin. Can’t handle a little pressure?” Itsuki replied nonchalantly without even looking at him.
“You don’t understand, those looks, it feels like my psyche is being damaged…” Mokujin’s eyes darted slyly at Itsuki, making his intentions clear. As an old acquaintance, Itsuki knew him too well.
“Don’t worry, if you end up like the White Fang, I’ll ensure you have a pure jade coffin. But we’re Uchiha, so we don’t need coffins. We’ll use Fire Release!” Itsuki said, patting Mokujin on the shoulder.
“This…”
“Don’t worry about the cost; I’ll give you a discount!” Itsuki reassured him. “Remember what we’re preparing for? Businessmen value integrity; discounts for familiar faces are a must.”
Nanto chuckled. “Mokujin is an old friend. Boss, how much of a discount?”
“Full body fracture discount!”
Nanto gasped, “Fracture first, then burn? So he can’t run away. Boss, you’re brilliant!”
Mokujin’s eyebrow twitched, “I’m still alive; let’s not plan so far ahead.”
“Alive? That’ll cost extra!” Itsuki joked.
Mokujin sighed deeply, “Itsuki-sama, I was wrong.”
“Where were you wrong?”
“Wherever you say I’m wrong, I’m wrong there.”
Itsuki smirked, “Why does that sound like a threat? Are you feeling aggrieved?”
Mokujin weakly replied, “Please, give me a break.”
Nanto couldn’t help but laugh, “Boss, Mokujin has indeed had a rough time. The Mangekyo incident dragged him in too. If it weren’t for his skills, he’d be ashes by now. We should teach some people a lesson. Some have crossed the line!”
Nanto’s eyes gleamed with murderous intent. Mokujin had been attacked, and without their secret assistance, he would likely be dead by now.
“It’s time for some reckoning,” Itsuki said thoughtfully. “How are the preparations coming?”
Mokujin’s expression turned serious, “The plan is underway. But isn’t it too much? This could trigger another Great Ninja War—a Fourth Great Ninja War!”
He was genuinely worried. He had considered revenge, but Itsuki’s actions could lead to a massive conflict. He wasn’t confident.
Itsuki glanced at him dismissively, “Just do what you need to do. I’ll handle the rest.”
He walked to the window, looking outside with a smile, but his words were chilling. “This village is disgusting. It needs to change.”
Nanto and Mokujin exchanged glances but remained silent. They knew Itsuki had been building up his anger for a long time. Every injustice Konoha had done to him was etched in his heart, accumulating drop by drop, awakening a sleeping beast. Its cold eyes were now fixed on the prosperous village, and blood and screams would be its central theme.
They couldn’t and wouldn’t change Itsuki’s mind. They had chosen to follow Uchiha Itsuki and would continue to follow him, no matter what.
Itsuki had always satisfied them.
They knelt behind Itsuki, one knee on the ground, and declared, “We swear to follow you to the death!”
From a distance, a masked figure watched Itsuki silently. An Anbu! Itsuki suddenly looked up, meeting his gaze, and smiled. Though the Anbu couldn’t hear his words, he understood the message.
“You know what to report, right?”
The Anbu nodded and disappeared. He was supposed to monitor Itsuki but had long since been recruited by him. He hadn’t been discovered because every information he provided was actual. An Anbu who consistently delivered critical, accurate intelligence would never be suspected!
Itsuki’s smile grew wider. “I’ve laid it all out for you. What will you do now?”
He turned sharply to Mokujin and Nanto, “Spread the rumor even further. Make sure everyone believes the Uchiha have five thousand ninjas.”
“Yes, sir!”
They knew Konoha was about to be thrown into chaos again. It was time for the Uchiha to strike back.
