Naruto: This Uchiha is too Evil - Chapter 48
To be so brave in front of the Uchiha, you must either be dead or incredibly daring!
They were on the verge of exploding with rage when they finally registered the words.
Daring to call them the “evil Uchiha” to their faces was a death sentence, one even Hashirama Senju couldn’t save you from if he were alive!
But!
Their anger dissipated when they saw who it was, replaced by a collective sigh.
Their expressions softened.
Uchiha Itsuki!
Alright then!
One of their own!
The notorious troublemaker, Itsuki.
If it was him, no problem.
This guy—what hasn’t he dared to say or do?
Initially, they couldn’t stand this troublemaker, feeling disgusted towards him. But now, he seemed pretty dashing.
Several female Uchiha even considered asking for a photo with him.
Why?
Because Itsuki had beaten up Danzo.
They had all heard about it. Itsuki, in front of many Jonin, had slapped Danzo twice across the face.
Seriously, what could be more satisfying than that?
It was utterly thrilling, to the point of making their souls feel euphoric.
Not to mention, Itsuki had also killed over ten Root ninjas.
A hero!
Itsuki was a Uchiha hero!
The tension dissolved instantly.
“You scoundrel, what do you think you’re doing?” roared the Uchiha, who had been kicked away.
“Oh, it’s you, Brother Kaima!” Itsuki said, feigning surprise. “What happened to your face? Got beaten up? Tell me, whose bed did you end up in this time?”
“Shut up!” Kaima snapped. “When have I ever ended up in someone’s bed?”
Uchiha Kaima, a newly promoted Jonin within the Uchiha clan, shared a distant familial connection with Itsuki.
According to Itsuki, their grandfathers shared a grandfather, and their homes were quite close.
Hence, the two had always been on good terms. Itsuki had also helped Kaima considerably in becoming a Jonin in his twenties.
“Don’t pretend, Kaima. Didn’t I catch you last time in a guy’s bed, looking all shy, saying ‘no’ and ‘stop’?” Itsuki teased.
“Shut your mouth!” Kaima retorted, infuriated. “You were the one who stripped me and threw me on that bastard’s bed. He was unconscious because you knocked him out!”
“Stop pretending, Itsuki,” he continued, “as if you wouldn’t want me to say ‘yes’ and ‘more’ instead.”
Itsuki snickered. “Oh, so you admit it now? You’re saying you were pretending to resist?”
“Itsuki, you bastard!” Kaima roared, turning red with rage.
The other Uchiha watched silently, exchanging knowing looks. A few women’s eyes gleamed with excitement.
How amusing!
This is too good!
Don’t stop!
Please, don’t stop!
Itsuki was entertaining to watch when he wasn’t causing trouble for them.
Kaima, who was usually quite proud, looked hilariously out of sorts.
Moreover, this was between Jonin!
It was rare to witness Jonin bicker like this, bringing much joy to the Chunin present.
“What’s going on here?” A stern voice rang out.
Fugaku approached with a frown, giving a severe look to the group before turning his gaze to Itsuki, clearly holding back from saying, “You again? Can’t you behave for a single day?”
Itsuki frowned back at Fugaku. “You again? Can’t you behave for a single day? Why do you keep showing up in front of me?”
Fugaku: “…”
Damn it, can you read minds?
Do you have the Yamanaka clan’s blood?
Or does your Mangekyo ability relate to mind-reading?
Fugaku took a deep breath, gritting his teeth. “I don’t want to see you either, so Uchiha Itsuki, can you please stop causing trouble?”
Itsuki rolled his eyes. “What trouble have I caused? Did I beat up your son or… Mikoto?”
Fugaku felt his fists clench instantly.
Damn it, why do you keep bringing up my wife?
If you dare make a move on her, I will kill you!
Even if you’re Kagami’s grandson, I will kill you.
Fugaku turned away, unwilling to look at this infuriating person any longer. Instead, he focused on Kaima. “What’s going on?”
Still respectful towards Fugaku, Kaima lowered his head slightly and replied, “We sensed a strong chakra disturbance here, so I brought people to investigate.”
Lately, things had been far from peaceful.
Hence, Fugaku had ordered every Jonin to patrol the clan compound with a team, maintaining the responsibilities of the Konoha Police Force.
Withdrawing many officers had significantly impacted the Uchiha, so they used personnel outside the police force.
“This area was once a storage warehouse during the Ninja World War, later used as a temporary prison,” Kaima continued. “Though not crucial, it’s an easy place to hide someone.”
Fugaku nodded slightly, about to speak when Itsuki interrupted.
“Of course he knows!”
Itsuki smirked. “His father chose this spot for the clan. By the way, where was our previous clan compound?”
Silence fell.
Everyone, who had been snickering and chatting softly, went quiet.
Itsuki’s words touched on an absolute taboo.
As one of the founding families of Konoha, the Uchiha should never have been relegated to the village’s outskirts.
This was due to the creation of the Konoha Police Force.
After the Second Hokage established it, he openly pushed the Uchiha to the periphery.
Back then, the Uchiha leader who agreed to this decision was none other than Fugaku’s father!
Fugaku turned, glaring coldly at Itsuki. For a moment, he genuinely felt a murderous intent.
Itsuki’s words were a public rebuke of his father.
As a son, how could he tolerate this?
“Angry?” Itsuki smiled serenely at Fugaku.
“Huff!” Fugaku exhaled deeply, suppressing his anger. “I know everyone is dissatisfied, so…”
“So, I hope everyone can strive for change!” Itsuki interjected.
He glanced at Fugaku and then at the other Uchiha present, speaking calmly.
“We resent being relocated, but what about the former clan leader?”
“Think about it. While you’re angry at the old clan leader, did he willingly lead the Uchiha away from our long-standing home?”
“If not, why did he do it?”
“Because he had no choice!”
“Hm?”
Fugaku was taken aback, looking at Itsuki in surprise.
Is he… defending my father?
Itsuki’s tone softened. “Everyone, consider this: sometimes, the person making the decision needs the most courage and suffers the most.”
“As the clan leader, he knew it was a humiliation, but still led us forward.”
“In that, I admire the old clan leader.”
“If it were me, I couldn’t do it.”
Seeing the thoughtful expressions among the Uchiha and Fugaku’s softened demeanor, Itsuki leaned in and whispered in Fugaku’s ear, “Did you really believe that? Did you think your father was that great?”
Fugaku’s face froze.
He was wrong!
Uchiha Itsuki deserves to die!
