Naruto: This Uchiha is too Evil - Chapter 52
Kurenai sneered. “I don’t remember any woman named Y?ka in Konoha, but in Sunagakure…”
“Exactly!” Itsuki sighed. “She is Y?ka from Sunagakure, the supposed dead hero. I went through great lengths to save her.”
Kurenai frowned, her body tensing. “You’ve got some nerve, Uchiha Itsuki. Seducing women in Sunagakure now? Are the women in Konoha not enough for you? Your sights are set on the entire ninja world?”
Even Itsuki was left speechless.
Kurenai, you sure are quick-witted. When you hear about Y?ka’s identity, the first thing you think of is this?
“You really thought of that first?”
“What else should I think of?” Kurenai scoffed. “Don’t tell me I’m your only woman. Do you think I’ll believe that? Don’t even get me started on that ANBU woman. You probably hooked up with her before you even met me.”
Itsuki felt a bit awkward. He certainly didn’t only have Kurenai. He was a reincarnator. He struggled to make ends meet every month in his previous life, barely affording a place to live and even contemplating a mortgage that would take seventy-five years to pay off. But no bank would grant such a loan, especially since property rights only lasted seventy years.
Now, given a second chance, he refused to live a repressed life. Besides, he was a Uchiha. He noticed he had become more emotionally rich, whether it was his bloodline or something else.
As a man with a system, how could he be constrained?
Itsuki looked at Kurenai with deep emotion. “No matter how many women I have, Kurenai, you and Y?ka are the most important to me!”
Kurenai gave him a sideways glance. Even Y?ka couldn’t help but roll her eyes.
The second half of that sentence, suddenly including me, is only because you remembered I’m
Here, right? If I weren’t, your original line would have been: Kurenai, you are the most important woman to me, bar none!
Hah! Men!
Pah!
“Uchiha Itsuki, you tell me, should I believe this or not? You decide!”
“Don’t believe it!” Itsuki answered candidly.
“Then why say it at all?”
Kurenai sneered, glancing at Y?ka with disdain. “Sometimes I really admire you. You parade around Konoha with a woman from Sunagakure, who is also a hero there. How did you manage to dig her up? From a grave?”
A cold gleam flashed in Y?ka’s eyes.
“I saved her!”
Itsuki sighed, looking at Y?ka. “Kurenai, Y?ka is a hero of Sunagakure, but she was betrayed by Sunagakure and used as a bargaining chip in peace talks, leading to her death!”
“Bargaining chip?”
“After the Fourth Great Ninja War, the price for peace between Sunagakure and Kirigakure was Y?ka’s death.”
Kurenai was stunned. “Sunagakure agreed? Using Y?ka’s life? Are they out of their minds?”
Even Kurenai found it hard to believe. A powerful Kage-level ninja with techniques that Sunagakure sacrificed counter Kirigakure? Weren’t they worried about Kirigakure breaking the agreement?
“Sigh, actually, there’s a secret. Y?ka was a casualty of internal power struggles in Sunagakure!”
Itsuki looked at Y?ka with pity. “It’s said that Y?ka had high prestige in Sunagakure, and her strength was implicitly surpassing that of the Fourth Kazekage, Rasa. So, she had to die.”
Kurenai looked at Y?ka with a bit more sympathy. A lifetime of protecting and fighting for her village, only to be betrayed and abandoned. The destruction of her faith and belief would devastate any ninja.
This kind of thing happened in every ninja village. Kurenai hadn’t seen it firsthand but had heard about it from her father, Asuma. She vividly remembered Asuma’s regretful words: Many outstanding ninjas sacrificed their lives meaninglessly!
Y?ka’s eye twitched. Although both showed pity, Itsuki’s gaze felt unsettling, as if he was thinking of something inappropriate.
Her eyebrows furrowed. “Master, is what you said true?”
“Y?ka, haven’t you realized it yet?”
Itsuki was surprised. “Such a simple thing, and you didn’t think of it? Should I say I underestimated you? Your brain is actually…”
“Please, master, speak properly.”
“Fine!” Itsuki shrugged. “You counter Kirigakure. During the war, you were their biggest threat. Sunagakure wasn’t stupid enough to sacrifice you so simply.”
“It couldn’t be that Rasa, that bastard, loved and couldn’t get you, right?”
Y?ka was speechless, finally saying, “Not all ninjas are like Uchiha Itsuki.”
This time, it was Itsuki’s turn to roll his eyes.
“Because in the eyes of the Fourth Kazekage, your name represents the greatest threat. To secure his position as Kazekage, your existence was intolerable.”
“But…”
Y?ka was puzzled. “Chiyo and Ebiz?, the two advisors of Sunagakure, valued me highly. They wouldn’t have sacrificed me.”
“That, I don’t know.” Itsuki shrugged again. “Maybe they didn’t know. But in my opinion, the biggest possibility is that they really abandoned you.”
“You are an unstable factor for Sunagakure.”
“Your strength is too great, and your prestige is too high.”
“During the war, all unstable factors are suppressed, but after the war, those factors must be eliminated.”
Itsuki’s eyes grew distant as if recalling something. “Rasa is already the Kazekage, and his magnet release counters tailed beasts.”
“Compared to him, the one who must be sacrificed is you.”
“Maybe you never thought of vying with Rasa, but the fact that he thought you might was enough.”
Y?ka fell silent. She had considered this before but didn’t want to believe it. Itsuki’s few words shattered her last bubble of illusion. She had no more hesitation about the Sunagakure leadership. They had to die!
Kurenai looked at Y?ka, then at Itsuki, but remained silent.
“Kurenai!”
Itsuki turned to her, speaking earnestly. “Y?ka is very important to me.”
Kurenai glared at Itsuki.
“I am a great Uchiha!”
“Just say it directly, and don’t ramble, or I’ll kick you out.”
At this moment, Kurenai was very impatient.
“Alright then!”
Itsuki said sadly, “As the greatest Uchiha in the ninja world, my position in Konoha… you understand, right?”
Kurenai’s eyebrows furrowed.
“Y?ka is very strong!” Itsuki snapped his fingers. “With her, I can relax a lot. If a conflict breaks out between the village and the Uchiha, I might have to rely on her to save my life.”
“Kurenai, my life is now in your hands!”
Itsuki looked pitiful.
Kurenai, I’ve laid it all out. You wouldn’t just let me die, right?
You wouldn’t have the heart to do that, right?
