Naruto: This Uchiha is too Evil - Chapter 58
A simple greeting echoed in both places simultaneously. On one end, it was whispered into Konan’s paper clone’s ear, while on the other, it reached Konan’s natural body.
“You…” Konan’s paper clone was shocked. Something was wrong. Their natural bodies had been discovered! They were supposed to be hidden in the deepest part of Amegakure.
In a dark corner of Amegakure, Konan and Nagato’s natural bodies, he stared in shock at the figure that appeared. It was Uchiha Itsuki! He had found their actual location.
Nagato, sitting in his wheelchair, coldly looked at the approaching Itsuki and said, “Konan, don’t worry, I’m here.”
“Yes, Nagato, I believe in you!” Itsuki said, nodding as he spoke. “You were amazing out there, beating up Itsuki so badly. I couldn’t bear to watch. What if you ended up killing him?”
Nagato: “…”
This bastard deserved a beating.
“Uchiha, you even know about this place!” Konan’s voice was icy. “You know too much.”
Bang! Itsuki playfully hit his temple with his hand, then shrugged helplessly. “I do know too much. It’s all your fault, Konan. Why did you have to be so beautiful? I couldn’t help but keep an eye on you and ended up learning a lot.”
Neither Konan nor Nagato paid any attention to his nonsense. They silently prepared for battle. This time, Nagato couldn’t afford to underestimate Itsuki at all.
Itsuki chuckled softly, and when he looked up again, his eyes had transformed into the Mangeky? Sharingan. He stared intensely at Konan.
“The Itsuki you fought outside was just a clone,” Itsuki said, looking at Nagato and sighing. “You’re truly powerful. As expected of the Rinnegan, you managed to fight my clone for so long. You almost killed him. Nagato, I, Uchiha Itsuki, acknowledge you as the strongest… cripple.”
Nagato’s face was so dark it could drip water.
Konan suddenly said, “You came all the way here and found our real bodies. Can you tell us those secrets now?”
“Konan!” Nagato barked.
But Konan’s beautiful eyes were locked on Itsuki. She needed to know those secrets, especially if they involved Nagato’s life.
“Secrets? What secrets?” Itsuki asked, feigning surprise. “Konan, didn’t I already tell you all the secrets I know?”
Konan coldly stared at Itsuki. “If you don’t want to talk, then forget it. Just tell us your true purpose.”
“Uchiha Itsuki, what are you really here for?”
“I want to join the Akatsuki!” Itsuki said, smiling at Nagato and Konan. “You still need members, right? How about me? I’m handsome, powerful, and deeply infatuated with Konan. Am I qualified to join you?”
“Impossible!” Nagato refused outright.
“Possible!” Konan countered.
“Konan!” Nagato turned to look at Konan, stunned. Something was off about her. Why would she want to bring in such a dangerous person?
“Uchiha Itsuki, your strength qualifies you to join us,” Konan said coolly, ignoring Nagato. “But to join the Akatsuki, you need to show your sincerity.”
Itsuki laughed heartily. “I anticipated that. Here!”
He handed Konan a piece of paper. Konan took it, puzzled, and unfolded it to reveal two prominent golden characters: “Sincerity!”
Konan: “…”
Nagato, peeking, also: “…”
Itsuki said thoughtfully, “This is my sincerity, with a golden edge.”
He added, “It’s hard to carry around. Otherwise, I’d have given you two solid gold pieces of sincerity, each five meters large.”
Konan looked at Itsuki with a strange, silent gaze. Itsuki stared back at her with deep affection. Konan was so beautiful. They stared at each other, oblivious to everything else.
Nagato’s eye twitched uncontrollably. Something was off with Konan.
Finally, Konan gave in. She lowered her head and said coldly, “Shameless Uchiha.”
Itsuki smirked but didn’t reply. Watching a beauty for free, even briefly, was worth it to him. He could watch for days without blinking.
“I gave my sincerity. Can I join the Akatsuki now?”
“No!” Konan replied coldly. “This kind of sincerity is not enough.”
“How many sheets do you want?”
“I don’t want that!” Konan thought for a moment. “I want the Five Great Shinobi Villages to fall into chaos. Can you do that?”
“If they fall into chaos, I can join?”
“Yes.”
“Alright! I’ll prove to you that whether the Five Great Shinobi Villages fall into chaos or not is up to me, Uchiha Itsuki.”
Itsuki nodded. “But I also want to see your sincerity.”
“What do you want?”
“Explosive tags!” Itsuki said with a smile. “Five million explosive tags!”
Konan frowned. “That many?”
“Many?” Itsuki laughed. “Konan, I told you, I know you very well, very, very well.”
He extended his hand, making various gestures toward Konan. “I know you inside and out, every part of you…”
“Enough!” Konan shouted, glaring at Itsuki. “Close your mouth. I agree.”
Nagato stayed silent. I’m the leader! Konan, you’re just a secretary-like ninja. Why are you making decisions now? Although you can make decisions, this Uchiha is extremely dangerous.
“Then I’ll be off. Wait for my good news.”
Itsuki waved cheerfully.
“Leave!” Konan barked.
Itsuki pouted. “Aren’t you going to see me off?”
Konan hesitated but then stepped forward to follow Itsuki.
“Konan!” Nagato couldn’t hold back. “Are you going with him?”
Konan turned to Nagato and said firmly, “Trust me, I’m not as weak as you think.”
She needed to confirm some things from Itsuki.
“No way!” Nagato refused outright.
“Stop talking nonsense,” Itsuki scoffed, creating a clone that charged at Nagato. The two immediately began fighting. Itsuki’s clone was robust, against Nagato’s natural body.
“Let’s go, Miss Konan!” Itsuki said with a smile.
Konan looked worriedly at Nagato. “You won’t hurt him, right?”
“Of course not!” Itsuki promised. “You’re Uchiha Konan, and he’s your family. How could I hurt him?”
Oddly enough, Konan believed him this time despite Itsuki’s usual flippancy. She turned and followed Itsuki out.
Behind them, Nagato continued to shout.
“Konan!”
“Konan, you can’t leave!”
“Konan, if you go, I…”
None noticed that one of Itsuki’s Mangeky? Sharingan had dimmed slightly.
