Naruto: This Uchiha is too Evil - Chapter 66
Such familiar words! Even the staff at the Hokage building felt these words were exceedingly familiar. They stiffly turned their heads to look at Danzo.
Have these two switched places? Mind Transfer Jutsu? What, no? Then, Lord Danzo, can you tolerate this? He stole your lines! Hit him! Hit him!
The staff were excited. A fight between Uchiha and Danzo would be quite a show. It would be best if they both ended up dead! The only pity would be Uchiha’s handsome face, thought the woman.
Danzo glared at Itsuki and walked away with his cane, too furious to speak. If he had any more words, he might have fainted from rage. He had intended to wait for Itsuki here, to show that even if he attempted an assassination, Itsuki couldn’t do anything to him. Confinement? What’s that? He could come and go as he pleased.
Anger? Let him be angry! The angrier he got, the more likely he would make a mistake, giving Danzo a chance to defeat him. But Itsuki didn’t get angry; his remark about sunbathing nearly made Danzo pass out from fury.
Danzo stormed into the Hokage’s office, and Itsuki casually followed behind. As he opened the door and walked in, Itsuki exclaimed, “Whoa!” He was surprised.
The four great guardians of Konoha were present: Hiruzen Sarutobi, Danzo Shimura, Koharu Utatane, and Homura Mitokado. The four sat in solemn silence. A massive figure—a hulking, rotund presence—took up more space than three people combined.
“And this is…”
“The old man, Akimichi Torifu!” The large man’s lips barely moved as he spoke in a deep, powerful voice.
“Oh, my grandfather’s classmate! Weren’t you in seclusion? Why are you here now?” Itsuki realised. It was no wonder he was so big. He didn’t need the Multi-Size Jutsu; his size was naturally large.
Itsuki looked around at everyone present and asked in surprise, “Everyone’s here? Is it something related to the Second Hokage? Did he return? Are you here to welcome him?”
Return? Everyone was initially stunned; then their faces turned red with anger. Especially Hiruzen Sarutobi, who had nearly spat out blood.
The villagers of Konoha didn’t understand what Itsuki meant by “return.” However, many remember Itsuki mentioning this concept at Koharu Utatane’s wedding. Some found the idea intriguing, and it caught on with a few ninja clans. As a notorious Uchiha, Itsuki’s every move was documented and appeared in the Hokage’s office in written form, so Hiruzen knew what “return” meant.
Now, he was furious. The Second Hokage had been dead for years. How could he return? If he did, wouldn’t that be terrifying? The Second Hokage was a man; there was no way he could “return” in that sense.
Several cold stares were fixed on Itsuki. Some were so furious their breathing grew heavy, ready to avenge any insult to their mentor.
Itsuki shrugged, unfazed. “Then why did you call me here? If the Second Hokage’s disciples are all gathered, it must be something big. If it’s not to deal with his resurrection, why would you need a crematorium owner like me?”
Hiruzen Sarutobi nearly uttered his words between clenched teeth, “We called you here as an Uchiha and as a Konoha ninja.”
“Fugaku is dead?” Itsuki asked, surprised. “I haven’t heard anything about that. Where’s the body? I need to talk to Sister Mikoto about this, haha!”
“He’s not dead!”
“Not dead?” Itsuki seemed genuinely disappointed. “Why not?”
Hiruzen Sarutobi was speechless. “If he’s not dead, why did you call me, an ordinary Uchiha? The Uchiha have a clan leader, two advisory elders, and Itachi in between them. After that, it’s me, a regular Uchiha Jonin, right?”
Hiruzen Sarutobi’s voice was low, and his face dark. “We called you for a reason.”
Itsuki found a place to sit without waiting for an invitation, earning more frowns from the others. Such disrespect! They were the peak of Konoha’s power. Who gave this young Uchiha the right to act so casually?
Koharu Utatane was about to scold him, but Hiruzen stopped her with a look.
“Itsuki, a few days ago, an eastern outpost of Konoha was attacked. You know about this, right?”
“Nope!” Itsuki shrugged. “I don’t usually keep track of such things. But if someone was killed, you should have brought the bodies to my crematorium. My business hasn’t opened yet.”
There was a moment of silence. While they appreciated Itsuki’s compliance, bringing bodies to his crematorium was out of the question. They suspected he had an ulterior motive for opening that place, perhaps aiming to access the secrets hidden within ninja corpses.
“After the attack on the eastern outpost, the attackers left this behind.” Hiruzen handed Itsuki a scroll.
Itsuki examined it, surprised. “Is it appropriate for me to see this?”
The scroll contained a detailed military deployment map, including ninja levels and numbers at the frontlines. But the signature was from an unknown Suna shinobi, addressed to the Mizukage.
Itsuki scratched his chin, murmuring, “A Suna shinobi sent it to the Mizukage, but it ended up in Konoha? And they specifically attacked Konoha’s outpost?”
Hiruzen observed Itsuki’s expression, suspecting the military map was Itsuki’s work. But there was no evidence, and Itsuki’s reactions seemed genuine.
“Clearly, it’s a conspiracy!” Hiruzen said coldly. “We’ve confirmed that the map is from Iwagakure, signed by a Suna shinobi, and sent to Kirigakure!”
“Well, that’s something!” Itsuki laughed. “This guy’s got talent. We should learn from him!”
The others couldn’t help but snort at Itsuki’s attitude.
“Alright,” Itsuki said, serious now. “Why did you call me here? Does this matter involve Konoha? If there’s a map, just avoid those places.”
Hiruzen’s face darkened. “It would be that simple, but! The Anbu reported that outposts in Iwagakure, Kumogakure, Sunagakure, and Kirigakure were also attacked. What is this person trying to do? Ignite another Shinobi World War?”
