Naruto: This Uchiha is too Evil - Chapter 70
These two clans don’t see eye to eye. However, unlike the reclusive Hyuga, the Uchiha are aggressive and thus receive special attention from the Hokage and his advisors. Moreover, no one can deny that the Uchiha have many talented members.
On the other hand, the Hyuga clan can only boast one noteworthy member, Hyuga Tennin, throughout their history. But the Hokage needs the Hyuga to stand against the Uchiha. Hence, the Hyuga clan is highly valued. This notion gradually gained acceptance under the Hokage’s influence, especially among the prominent Hyuga family.
Itsuki found the Hyuga clan quite perplexing. The prominent family was corrupt, and the branch family was enslaved. It wasn’t that no one in the Hyuga clan wanted change; they did. Unfortunately, they either lacked the ability or courage or were indecisive. Occasionally, a capable individual would try to change things, but the main family and the Hokage opposed it. They believed the current state of the Hyuga clan was good. If reformed, what if they became another Uchiha?
The current head of the Hyuga clan, Hiashi Hyuga, was decent overall. However, the Hyuga clan’s prison trapped the branch family, him, and the entire central family. It was a tragic clan!
The Hokage and his advisors assigned a mission, placing the Uchiha and Hyuga together. Even a fool could see they were setting up for more conflict and harm. Itsuki was speechless. As the Hokage, couldn’t you be more magnanimous? Unlike me, who enjoys fun and chaos, but when necessary, I don’t hesitate. I single-handedly crippled over ten Jonin from the Root division, reducing their Jonin team by a third. I also publicly humiliated Danzo. Who dares to underestimate me now?
“What do you need me to do?” Yagura asked Itsuki.
“Nothing at all,” Itsuki replied with a grin. “For this mission, ignore the Hyuga and Uchiha. I’ve already arranged everything. Just focus on striking Sunagakure hard, making sure they don’t cause trouble. Hit them as hard as you can, and I’ll provide necessary support.”
“Just that?” Yagura was taken aback.
“Just that!” Itsuki spread his hands.
Yagura quietly looked at Itsuki and suddenly said, “Itsuki, thank you!”
She understood. Itsuki was giving her a chance to vent. She had been wronged and manipulated by Sunagakure, bottling up her resentment and anger. Itsuki was providing her with a channel to release it. Warmth filled her heart, contrasting sharply with the coldness of Sunagakure. Itsuki gave her genuine warmth. The effects of Kotoamatsukami +1!
Itsuki blinked. Was this woman adding drama? From her expression, it was clear she was overthinking. He simply wanted her to use her skills and knowledge of Sunagakure to severely teach them a lesson and prevent them from ruining his plans. Something felt off.
Never mind! Let her stay in her state of gratitude. Itsuki turned to Kurenai, ready to speak, but noticed she, too, was looking at him with gentle eyes.
Itsuki: “…”
Seriously? Are women always this emotional? With thoughts so rich and varied, you can write novels!
…
The mission orders were quickly issued. Konoha ninjas were dispatched to various villages to monitor them, preventing them from mobilising and buying time for Konoha’s redeployment. Kakashi led a team to Kirigakure. Uchiha Itsuki led an entire Anbu squad to Kumogakure. The Uchiha and Hyuga were sent to Sunagakure, with Uchiha Hachidai as the captain and Hyuga Yamakai as the vice-captain.
The last village, Iwagakure, surprised Itsuki. The Aburame clan and the Ino-Shika-Cho alliance were responsible for this mission. Aburame Shibi was the captain, and Nara Shikaku was the vice-captain. Interesting. Kakashi, a Hokage faction member, was sent to Kirigakure, but the rest were all clan members. And Shibi, who didn’t talk much but was a perfect ninja, skilled in ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu, was chosen. He even had leadership abilities and a solid strategic sense. But placing him above the Ino-Shika-Cho?
“Sigh, the Third Hokage really likes to play,” Itsuki muttered. “And he’s not even good at it.”
Swish! A ninja appeared before Itsuki, kneeling on one knee. “Captain, when do we depart?”
“Tonight!” Itsuki said, looking at the kneeling Anbu with a kind smile tinged with regret.
“Yes!” The Anbu replied, quickly leaving.
Itsuki watched his back until he disappeared, then reluctantly withdrew his gaze. Such a great body. It’s too bad it can’t be cremated.
He returned to the Uchiha compound to make some arrangements. If the Third Hokage liked to play, let’s all play until he cries.
As soon as Itsuki walked in at the Naka Shrine, he felt an angry glare.
Itsuki turned to look. “Oh, Clan Leader Fugaku, what’s with that look? Do you have a misunderstanding with me? You look like I’ve stolen your wife.”
Fugaku: “…”
Ordinary people talk about revenge, not stealing wives. What’s your deal? Fugaku’s eyes were red with anger. Are you after my wife? It’s confirmed!
“Ahem!” Setsuna coughed lightly. “Itsuki, thank you for your contribution to the Uchiha.”
“Oh, you mean those 2.5 million explosive tags?” Itsuki waved it off. “No need to thank me. Share them with the clan members. With Konoha unstable, they need some means of self-defense.”
How they handled it was not his concern.
“I will,” Setsuna nodded with a smile.
“Brother Itsuki, can we get more?” Itachi, sitting beside Fugaku, suddenly asked.
Itsuki rolled his eyes. “Do you think these are cabbages?”
“Hehe, in my impression, Brother Itsuki, you can do anything.”
Itsuki paused, then looked at Itachi with amusement. Becoming deputy clan leader has indeed changed him. That flattery was unexpected.
“Alright, I’ve called for a clan meeting because I have something to say.”
Itsuki sat down grandly, looking at the others. “Elder Zongyi, don’t look so grim. We’re not planning a rebellion.”
“Elder Setsuna, don’t get too happy about those 2.5 million tags.”
“Clan Leader Fugaku, you don’t need to worry about my relationship with Sister Mikoto for now!”
For now? Damn you! Fugaku almost jumped up, gritting his teeth. “Uchiha Itsuki, enough! Stop provoking me. I haven’t even confronted you about the explosive tags incident.”
He glared at Itsuki. “Throwing out 2.5 million explosive tags at once, aren’t you worried about an accident? I have a family, and if it explodes…”
The others smiled wryly. They had broken into a cold sweat upon hearing about it if 2.5 million explosive tags exploded, what a catastrophe that would be!
Itsuki looked worried. “Is Sister Mikoto alright?”
Everyone fell silent, including Itachi. I saw you as a brother, but are you really after my mom? That last comment didn’t sound right at all.
