Chapter 100: Chiba: Are You Lost Too?
The red-haired boy was getting closer, and Chiba could now clearly see his face.
“You can go now!” Third Kazekage said, looking at Chiba with an obvious desire to chase him away.
“Are you sure you want me to leave?” Chiba asked.
“Aren’t you leaving? You drowned Scorpion’s parents with feces,” Kazekage accused.
Chiba was taken aback. He had no idea he was responsible for drowning Scorpion’s parents.
“I did what? I really didn’t know,” Chiba exclaimed in disbelief.
Boom!
Chiba used his Body Flicker Technique and disappeared. However, he left behind a substitute in his place.
Third Kazekage was stunned. He never expected Chiba’s Body Flicker Technique to have that effect.
Wiping his face, Kazekahe resisted the urge to vomit and waited for Scorpion’s arrival.
Tatt…
The young Scorpion arrived, looking surprised. “Master Kazekage!” Xie hurriedly stepped forward to help.
“How is the village now?” Kazekage asked.
“There are very few casualties. We’re salvaging them on the earth wall,” Scorpion replied.
“Alright,” Kazekage nodded, standing up with Scorpion’s support. However, his steps were unsteady, and he would have fallen if not for the support.
“Master Kazekage, are you injured?” Scorpion asked with concern, noticing Kazekage’s weakness.
Kazekage was touched by Scorpion’s genuine care. “I’m just feeling weak for a while, that’s all.”
But then, Kazekage suddenly froze, wearing a look of disbelief as he stared at Scorpion.
“You… you poisoned me?”
“Hehe, you just realized it now? It’s already too late~~” Scorpion’s voice changed completely, filled with ferocity, madness, and strong hatred.
“You’re so cowardly! Chiba was right in front of your eyes, and you let him go! Are you even worthy of being called Kazekage? You’re so incompetent, what’s the point of living?” Scorpion pushed Kazekage away and yelled angrily.
Plop!
Kazekage fell to the ground, his heart sinking. He never expected Scorpion’s mentality to be so extreme. If he had known, he wouldn’t have driven Chiba away. Now, he felt doomed as the poison spread throughout his body.
But then, a figure appeared.
“Huh? I seem to be lost?” Chiba walked over with a smile on his face.
“You?” Scorpion was shocked, not expecting Chiba to come back.
Third Kazekage weakly called out Chiba’s name.
In the next moment, Chiba snapped his fingers.
Puff!
Without warning, Scorpion collapsed just like Kazekage, clutching his trouser pockets and falling to the ground.
“What ability is this?” Scorpion, lying on the ground, was terrified. He was experiencing diarrhea and felt weak all over.
But no one paid him any attention.
Chiba was already standing in front of Kazekage.
Ability activation — Reincarnation of Grains!
Zi~~
In an instant, a large number of black oil stains mixed with toxins appeared on Kazekag’s body.
Kazekage couldn’t even speak this time. He felt as if his body was completely hollowed out.
“This should make us even. I flooded Sand Shinobi Village, and now I’ve saved you,” Chiba said, staring into Kazekage’s eyes.
After speaking, Chiba picked up Kazekage and Scorpion, and they galloped away into the distance.
The next morning, Kazekage sat up abruptly, realizing he was in a log cabin. Glancing around the house and looking at the desert outside, he then noticed the unconscious Scorpion lying beside him.
“Unexpectedly, Chiba also mastered Wood Style,” Kazekage muttered, guessing the origin of the wooden house.
Just then, Chiba entered the room with a smile on his face, holding a wooden stick with roasted bird meat skewered on it.
“Here you go! I just baked it. Eat it while it’s hot,” Chiba said enthusiastically, offering the roasted bird to Kazekage.
“Thanks!” Kazekage expressed sincere gratitude and found the meat to be delicious.
Kazekage couldn’t help but ask, “Where did you get it? It tastes really good.”
“Oh, two Ninja Hawks flew by, so I caught them,” Chiba replied casually.
Kazekage was stunned, looking at Chiba, then at the half-eaten bird, feeling confused.
After finishing the barbecue, Kazekage regained a lot of strength and announced his departure.
“I’m leaving too, I need to relocate the village,” Chiba said, as he had to return to the village to settle matters with Sarutobi Hiruzen.
Kazekage was also leaving to relocate the village.
“Oh, by the way, what will you do with Scorpion?” Chiba asked casually as he walked towards the door.
“Forget it, let him fend for himself,” Kazekage waved his hand and walked out of the room.
Three minutes later, Kazekage turned around but found no trace of Chiba.
His eyes narrowed, and he walked back towards the wooden house.
When he looked inside, Kazekage was dumbfounded.
Puff! Puff! Puff!
Chiba’s hand was spraying oil wildly, slashing at Scorpion. In an instant, Scorpion was chopped into more than a dozen pieces.
As if sensing the movement, Chiba turned to look at the door and locked eyes with Kazekage.
“Ahem, are you lost too?”
