Chapter 98: Sand Village Turned Into A Cesspit

The sky suddenly darkened, capturing the attention of everyone in the Sand Shinobi Village. They looked up, one by one, to see what was happening. Their faces filled with astonishment as they witnessed a giant sphere falling from the sky, heading straight for the village.

“What is that? A meteorite?” someone exclaimed.

“No, it’s not a meteorite, it’s dung! Run!” another person shouted.

The villagers panicked, realizing that it was too late to escape. Fear and chaos spread through the village as people tried to flee or found themselves frozen in shock.

In the midst of the chaos, the Third Kazekage appeared. He recognized that it was not a meteorite but Chiba’s feces descending upon them. Anger burned in his eyes as he made a decisive move.

Gathering a large amount of black sand and iron, the Kazekage poured it into the ground. Then, he performed hand seals, and the sand and iron transformed into a towering wall.

“Magnet Style – Sand Iron Wall!” he shouted.

The black sand pillars rose from the ground, forming a massive barrier that covered the entire village. The people, relieved and grateful, cheered at the sight of the protective barrier.

“This is Kazekage-sama’s power! We are saved!”

“Kazekage-sama always comes through when we need him!”

“Let’s see those who oppose Master Kazekage now!”

The villagers praised and admired the Third Kazekage, realizing that despite his previous defeat, he was still reliable.

But suddenly, there was a powerful impact against the barrier, causing everyone to look up in alarm. However, they soon realized that the barrier remained intact.

“Don’t worry! The barrier is holding strong! We’re safe!” someone exclaimed.

“Exactly as expected from the Third Kazekage-sama!”

“Long live Kazekage-sama!”

The villagers erupted in cheers, filled with excitement and joy. They took comfort in the protective barrier, feeling a sense of security.

However, their celebration was short-lived. They watched in horror as countless streams of feces poured down the edges of the barrier. The village, situated in a low-lying area surrounded by earth walls, quickly became engulfed in a sea of dung.

“The excrement is flooding the village! Run!” someone shouted desperately.

Some people ran toward the tallest building in the village, the Fengying Building, hoping to find safety there. Meanwhile, the Third Kazekage took action once again.

Forming seals with his hands, he manipulated the black sand and iron, creating a thick wall that emerged from the ground.

“Magnet Style – Sand Iron Flow Wall!” he commanded.

The wall of sand redirected the flow of the rushing dung sea, temporarily preventing it from completely flooding the village. However, the dung split into multiple streams, making the situation even more challenging.

With a frustrated expression, the Third Kazekage realized that his attempts to block the dung sea were futile. He couldn’t stop it entirely.

As time passed, the Sand Shinobi Village was submerged in several meters of feces, emitting a foul stench. Only the top of the Fengying Building remained visible, crowded with people seeking refuge.

In the sea of dung, villagers floated, swimming around in the filth. Many of them gathered around the Fengying Building, struggling to climb to the top.

“Quick! Pull me up!”

“Pull me first! I’m a woman!”

“Out of the way! I was here first!”

Amidst the chaos, people pushed and fought each other, some even ending up back in the dung sea.

Third Kazekage confronted Chiba outside the village, his anger unrestrained.

“Why? Are you really planning to kill them all?” he shouted hoarsely.

Facing the Kazekage’s accusation, Chiba grew even angrier.

“You still have the audacity to ask? The black market put a bounty on me and sent people to attack and kill me twice! And you claim it wasn’t you?” Chiba retorted, hands on his hips.

Third Kazekage was dumbfounded. He had no knowledge of offering a reward or ordering any attacks.

“Don’t spout nonsense! I never placed a bounty on you, nor did I send anyone to attack or kill you,” he insisted.

“Lies! I’ve seen your subordinates, and you’re still denying it?” Chiba exclaimed, feeling triumphant.

However, his confidence quickly waned as he saw Baki, covered in dried feces, running towards them. Baki, exhausted and weak, approached Chiba and the Kazekage.

“Chiba! Kazekage-sama!” Baki called out, his face filled with relief.

Chiba was taken aback, and he witnessed Baki’s desperation. It seemed Baki had important information to share.

“Hokage! The Hokage is coming to kill you!” Baki gasped before collapsing to the ground, unconscious.
