Naruto World Through Tenseigan - Chapter 43
Outside the cave of the Sealing Mountain.
“Scorch Release: Overheating Murder!”
Amid the hissing steam, the surfaces of countless terracotta soldier puppets began to crack. These cracks widened until all the puppets crumbled into heaps of sand and gravel.
However, Sunagakure’s Pakura paid little attention to her results, her face pale and her brows furrowed.
On the other side, having temporarily immobilized a large number of puppets with Earth Release, the captain of the Iwagakure Decapitation Unit turned back to gaze solemnly at the cave entrance.
Ever since the demon had charged into the cave, there had been constant booming noises from within.
Even outside the cave, he could imagine the fierce battle taking place inside.
At the cave entrance.
After using explosive tags to repel a few more puppets, Kakashi retreated to Gai’s side and anxiously asked, “Gai, are they really going to be alright?”
Gai nodded, “I believe in Kyo!”
Rumble…
Just as Gai finished speaking, another loud boom echoed from within the cave.
Accompanying the sound was a wave of sinister chakra that sent chills down everyone’s spines.
Kakashi quickly looked towards the cave, the Sharingan gifted to him by Obito activating.
In the Sharingan’s view, Moryo’s malevolent chakra was almost tangible, as if the cave couldn’t contain it, spilling out into the tunnel and beyond.
Wiping the sweat from his temples, Kakashi sighed inwardly, “Facing a monster like that in the cave… they’re as good as dead!”
Inside the cave.
Hovering in mid-air, Hyuga Kyo shouted to Shisui, “Leave the rest to me.”
Shisui nodded and deactivated Susanoo.
Despite having only used it for a few minutes, he was already panting, illustrating that awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan at such a young age had its drawbacks.
Without Susanoo’s assistance, Moryo’s struggles intensified once more.
Failing twice with its secret techniques had not only severely damaged Moryo’s arrogance but also shaken its confidence.
Now, Moryo realized that both Hyuga Kyo and Shisui were powerful shinobi with strange d?jutsu abilities, especially their eyes, which filled it with an unprecedented sense of unease.
This was unimaginable for it!
From the moment Shisui had activated Susanoo, Moryo had been in a state of shock. Having little understanding of the top-tier power of the shinobi world, it had never imagined finding itself in such a dire situation. The subsequent chain of events only further flustered it.
Only now did Moryo realize that relying on the strength of the Yellow Spring Cult to gauge the power of the shinobi world was a grave mistake. The cult was nowhere near the level of the shinobi world.
As for the Third Kazekage puppet hovering beside Hyuga Kyo, Moryo had long realized it was a soulless puppet. It had tried to seize control of it, but the puppet’s Tenseigan chakra had resisted.
Facing two unknown but powerful d?jutsu users and a priestess who naturally countered it, even Moryo knew the situation was dire. If it didn’t find a way to escape soon, it would inevitably be sealed.
Despite Moryo’s frenzied struggles, Hyuga Kyo remained calm.
Having already deployed his trump card, the Third Kazekage puppet, Hyuga Kyo was no longer conservative with his chakra. No matter how many iron spears Moryo shattered, he continuously replenished them, pinning the demon in place.
“Damn it!”
As more and more iron pillars pierced its body, Moryo let out a roar of frustration.
With Hyuga Kyo channeling nearly all his Tenseigan chakra into the Third Kazekage puppet, its combat power was nearly equivalent to the original Third Kazekage.
Renowned as the “Strongest Kazekage,” the Third Kazekage was particularly adept at countering large monsters. So, suppressing Moryo temporarily wasn’t too difficult.
Time ticked by slowly.
Eventually, the priestess’s sealing array began to activate.
In an instant, the sealing symbols etched around the cave glowed faintly. These glows gathered, growing brighter and brighter, until they resembled a blazing sun.
Sensing immense danger, Moryo’s struggles grew even more desperate, willing to tear its body apart in the process.
Rumble…
The cave shook violently as Moryo’s thrashing intensified, shattering the iron spears binding it.
Hyuga Kyo gritted his teeth and made a firm decision.
At this point, he wouldn’t give Moryo any chance to turn the tables. Ignoring the potential consequences, he poured all his remaining chakra into the Third Kazekage puppet.
The shattered iron sand reformed into sharp spears, piercing Moryo’s body once more!
Shisui tried to step forward to help but immediately collapsed, his legs giving way.
The earlier use of Susanoo had drained too much of his chakra. He hadn’t realized it at first, but now, as he attempted to summon Susanoo again, he found his body couldn’t handle it.
Finally, the priestess finished chanting her lengthy incantation.
She slowly rose, pointed a single arm at Moryo, and softly commanded, “Sealing Technique: Activate!”
The radiant light converged on Moryo. With a desperate wail, Moryo’s massive body deflated like a punctured balloon.
Then, the priestess formed several intricate hand seals.
The blinding light transformed into a glowing shroud covered in sealing symbols, wrapping around Moryo’s shriveled form layer by layer.
When the light faded, a giant cocoon covered in sealing symbols lay before Hyuga Kyo and Shisui.
Sitting on the ground, Shisui’s face lit up with joy, “Did we succeed?”
Suddenly, a thick, mud-like stream of dark purple chakra surged from the cracks in the ground.
This malevolent chakra didn’t attack anyone in the cave. Instead, it fled frantically toward the entrance.
There was no doubt that as Moryo’s physical form was sealed, its spirit escaped, hiding in the rock crevices and attempting to flee while everyone was momentarily relaxed from their victory…
