Naruto's Strongest Force - Chapter 38
Aburame Ryoma was a genius ninja of the Aburame clan.
He was once an elite member of the Root, and his infiltration techniques were outstanding even among the Anbu of various generations.
It was said that his strength back then was almost comparable to that of Orochimaru.
He was ambitious and aimed to strengthen the Aburame clan. He traveled extensively to collect insects and eventually discovered a new type of insect.
The parasites he cultivated, similar to Aburame Shikuro’s, were nano-sized poisonous insects, but he could release them into the air without physical contact.
However, he developed physical problems while developing new secret techniques.
He began secretly killing teammates to feed their blood to his poisonous insects, but his actions were soon exposed, and he was imprisoned.
“It’s really him,” Akira instantly became alert.
He quickly formed hand seals, took a deep breath, and unleashed a powerful fire jutsu.
“Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!”
His target was the ground beneath his feet.
Whoosh! A surge of flames erupted, striking the ground and rebounding back.
Akira emerged from the flames, scorched and battered.
“Hmph!” Aburame Ryoma snorted coldly. This Uchiha was so decisive.
The numerous poisonous insects he had released earlier were instantly burned away.
Knowing his poisonous insects were invisible to the naked eye, Akira had directly aimed at himself to burn them off.
Although he was severely burned, he had escaped Ryoma’s nano-sized parasite attack.
If Ryoma’s poisonous insects had touched him, Akira would have lost control of his body in seconds.
He would have died without understanding why.
“Will you come with me obediently, or should I take your corpse?”
With his nano-sized poisonous insects depleted and needing fresh blood to hatch new ones, Ryoma had to use ordinary parasites.
Ryoma waved his hand, and a swarm of parasites rushed forward.
Akira, heavily burned, could only retreat. With no ninja tools, he could only rely on fire jutsu.
“Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique.”
Balls of fire shot from Akira’s mouth, colliding with the parasites.
Instantly, many parasites fell.
Other fireballs hit the ground, igniting it.
Seeing the commotion, Ryoma swiftly dodged through the flames, reaching for Akira.
Akira barely avoided a punch and rolled on the ground, but Ryoma kicked him.
However, Ryoma’s foot met no resistance.
“Poof!” Akira turned into a puff of smoke.
“Hmm!?” A Shadow Clone, when?
When the clone dissipated, its memories returned to the real Akira.
Akira knew he couldn’t win from the start. When he blasted the ground with the Great Fireball, he split almost all his chakra to create a Shadow Clone.
This was a risky move. With insufficient chakra, the returning memories from the damaged clone could make the original pass out.
Akira staggered but held on. His clan had just found peace, and if something happened to him, it could cause turmoil.
Suppressing a groan, blood trickled from his nose.
He heard footsteps; Ryoma was closing in.
“Secret Technique: Parasitic Insects.”
The buzzing of insects was right behind him.
Akira’s eyes widened in anger. He suddenly felt light, leaping forward to avoid the attack.
Panting heavily, his Sharingan evolved from two tomoe to three tomoe.
“You’ve got some skill, to deceive me like this,” Ryoma said, enraged but pleased to see Akira’s eyes had evolved.
Insects swarmed from Ryoma’s side towards Akira.
“Is this the end?” Akira thought, out of chakra and unable to dodge.
“Boom!” Smoke erupted, and a skeletal giant enveloped Akira.
“Phew, made it in time,” Sumeragi praised Akira.
“Captain…” Akira relaxed and blacked out.
“Is this Susanoo?!” Feeling the chakra, Ryoma’s parasites wailed.
Ryoma turned to flee.
Sumeragi glanced, Susanoo swatting with a gust of wind!
“Buzz!” Ryoma exploded into an insect clone, reappearing nearby.
But his parasites had halved, and the substitution had cost him most of his chakra.
Sumeragi dispersed Susanoo and moved forward.
Forming a seal, he cast a powerful fire jutsu.
“Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!”
A huge flame erupted, creating a sea of fire. The insects burned, and Ryoma appeared, instantly charred.
A blackened human form fell.
Rustling sounds announced the arrival of many Uchiha members.
But the scene was already a mess, with many trees burning.
“Oops, overdid it,” Sumeragi scratched his head.
The fire was best against insect users.
To ensure all parasites burned, Sumeragi used ample chakra.
It resulted in a cleared area the size of half a basketball court.
“Put out the fire! Quickly!”
“Water Release: Water Flow Technique!”
“Water Release…”
Fortunately, some Uchiha could use water jutsu, or the fire would be hard to extinguish.
Sumeragi lifted Akira. He had been testing a chakra input experiment when Ryoma infiltrated.
So he knew immediately and was already on the scene but hadn’t intervened.
Akira’s performance surprised him, as he used a Great Fireball to burn himself, hiding in flames and splitting his chakra into a Shadow Clone.
Although escaping and deceiving Ryoma was risky due to Shadow Clone’s feedback, Akira endured, awakening the three tomoe Sharingan.
The Uchiha medical team confirmed Akira only had burns and no major injuries.
A great outcome.
Looking at Ryoma’s charred body, Sumeragi remembered he was imprisoned in the Sky Prison.
The Third Hokage now had a reason to deal with Danzo.
