Ninja School Teacher, I Can Become Stronger by Teaching - Chapter 105
“Those of you who have learned the Body Flicker Technique, step forward,” Mokutsuki said to Group A.
Shisui, Obito, Might Guy, Asuma, and a few others who had already learned the Body Flicker Technique stepped out of the line as Mokutsuki instructed.
“For the last two weeks, aside from basic training, the main focus will be on practicing the Body Flicker Technique,” Mokutsuki announced the upcoming training schedule.
To those who had already mastered the Body Flicker Technique, he said, “Those of you who have already learned it can decide how to use this part of your training time. You can continue learning with me or train according to your own methods.”
The Body Flicker Technique he was teaching was not the Soru but the widely taught Konoha Body Flicker, the same D-rank taijutsu he initially taught Shisui.
This Body Flicker Technique in Konoha held a status comparable to the basic three techniques in the ninja academy. It was not complex but convenient.
Compared to other Body Flicker Techniques involving elemental transformations, like Water Body Flicker or Lightning Body Flicker, the advantage of this D-rank taijutsu Body Flicker Technique was its low requirements and ease of learning, making it very suitable for Genin and Chunin. Even some Jonin continued to use it due to its high cost-effectiveness.
Mokutsuki’s previous chakra control training for students was also to lay the groundwork for learning the Body Flicker Technique.
Using the Body Flicker Technique mainly involves concentrating chakras in the soles of the feet and legs and using chakras to enhance the body to achieve high-speed movement.
There are two key points: the body must withstand the stimulation of chakra, and the amount of chakra used must be controlled well.
If the body cannot handle the high-speed movement caused by chakra stimulation, it will suffer damage, and the body will quickly tire during battle, reducing speed.
The soles of the feet are the most challenging places in which to concentrate chakras. Concentrating chakras in the soles is not easy, let alone controlling the amount used. If too much chakra is used, it not only leads to waste but also affects the execution of the technique.
“So that’s why their speed changes suddenly in battles. They all know the Body Flicker Technique,” Genma Shiranui thought as he watched those who stepped forward.
The ones who stepped forward mainly were those who performed well in combat tests, either graduates or strong students still in school.
“I need to quickly learn this Body Flicker Technique, or I won’t get good results in the final combat test,” Ebisu thought.
After last week’s incident, he had given up hope on ninja school life and was now focused on his future ninja career.
He didn’t want to be defeated in the first round when the Third Hokage came to watch the exam; he wanted to at least last through two rounds.
After a brief explanation, Mokutsuki began teaching the students.
First, he demonstrated the Body Flicker Technique several times, then let the students practice as he instructed while he guided them from the side.
When students made mistakes in their practice, he would point them out and help them correct them.
Mokutsuki didn’t only focus on Group A. His main body would usually cycle through Groups A, B, and C, leaving shadow clones to assist each group.
If his main body stayed with one group, his teaching skill boost would not benefit the other groups.
Next, Mokutsuki went to Group B.
Group B’s progress was one level behind Group A. After three weeks, some were still doing chakra control training.
But this was within Mokutsuki’s expectations. His requirement for Group B was to complete chakra control training, enhance their taijutsu, and improve their proficiency with the primary three techniques.
If these goals were achieved, they would be more qualified than many graduate Genin.
Some graduate Genin hadn’t even mastered tree climbing, had only learned the basic three techniques, and had average taijutsu.
Completing chakra control training not only added tree climbing and water walking to their skills but also laid the foundation for learning more ninjutsu in the future. Taijutsu has always been beneficial, and proficiency in the primary three techniques could have unexpected effects in battle.
Those who hadn’t completed chakra control training focused on that, while those who had completed it focused on taijutsu and the primary three techniques, along with various physical training.
With high proficiency in the primary three techniques and the teaching skill boost, the student’s proficiency improved quickly. Mokutsuki noticed that some students’ Clone Technique proficiency was already above 300 points at the entry-level.
After teaching Group B the basic three techniques for a while, Mokutsuki went to Group C.
Group C had the slowest progress, having just started chakra control training not long ago.
This was related to the composition of Group C, which consisted of either lower-grade students or average-performing fourth-year students.
These students either had less training time, hadn’t laid a solid foundation due to previous lack of effort, or had less talent, hence their slower progress.
Mokutsuki couldn’t push them more; otherwise, it would be counterproductive.
However, after three weeks of training, some students had already been promoted to Group B.
“The secret to tree climbing is to find the subtle amount of chakra that allows you to stick to the tree and maintain it,” Mokutsuki said as he walked up a tree as if on flat ground, repeating a technique he had explained countless times.
Although the words were the same, hearing them again at different stages of training brought different insights.
“Hehe, Mokutsuki-sensei, I think I’ve completed the training,” Anko said, dashing up and down the tree, even horizontally.
“Yes, you’ve completed the tree climbing training. Next, practice the Substitution and Transformation Techniques. In the afternoon, we’ll start water walking practice,” Mokutsuki nodded.
Anko had good ninja talent and was one of the fastest learners among the students in the three groups. Considering she had only trained for one semester, her quick completion of the tree climbing training was impressive.
“Yay,” Anko cheered, jumping up and down on the tree after receiving Mokutsuki’s approval.
Having completed her training, Anko didn’t forget her two good friends and immediately went to guide Izumo Kamizuki and Kotetsu Hagane, who were still testing the tree.
“Don’t be afraid of falling. Just gather chakra in your feet, close your eyes, and charge forward,” Anko instructed seriously.
Kotetsu’s mouth twitched. If he trained like Anko suggested, he’d end up with broken legs and needing someone to feed him every meal.
“Mokutsuki-sensei personally acknowledged my completion of the training. Don’t you dare ignore it,” Anko said with a smile, getting back at them for tricking her into not studying earlier.
“Sigh, we brothers have fallen to this state,” Izumo Kamizuki said to Kotetsu Hagane with a sorrowful look.
“Damn it, if there was a theoretical exam, Anko wouldn’t be so arrogant!” Kotetsu cursed, lamenting the lack of a theoretical exam in the special training.
I am encouraged by Anko, Kotetsu, and Izumo to train even harder.
Mokutsuki continued to move between the three groups until the end of the class.
[Completed an extensive class session]
[Rating: A]
[Reward: Wind Release: Gale Palm, Lightning Release: Chidori]
Seeing the system rewards, Mokutsuki’s mind filled with memories of Chidori.
Naruto had various Rasengan techniques, and Sasuke had various Chidori techniques. It was a highly versatile jutsu.
