One Piece Admiral Seirin - Chapter 4
At this moment, Rosha was in a very unstable state!
Endless hatred and resentment, combined with an ever-expanding rage and killing intent, were brewing within him.
Boundless darkness was slowly eroding the remaining light of his humanity!
Having lived two lives, the rare warmth he finally gained shattered right before his eyes.
What he yearned for was simple, just a little bit of insignificant companionship, to live a peaceful life with his father, Old John, in this lifetime.
For this tiny bit of desire, he even put aside his endless hunger, accepting this problematic life with contentment.
But fate was cruel to him!
Even this small wish was snatched away from him.
Now, it seemed he had no attachment to this world anymore.
The eruption of negative emotions engulfed him, transforming him into a man-eating beast.
Now, there was only one thought in Rosha’s mind.
Kill the pirate before him!
Eat him!
Facing Jericho’s two sharp short swords, Rosha felt no fear. He lunged forward.
With no technique, relying solely on instinct and an unknown monstrous strength, he opened his huge hands and grabbed fiercely at Jericho’s face.
The fierce wind rushed towards him. Jericho’s face twisted into a ferocious expression as he gripped his short swords, ducked low, curled his body into a ball, and rolled beneath the lunging Rosha, slashing upwards with his blades.
“Do you think I’m scared? Don’t be naive! You’re just a mindless monster! Watch as I cut off your limbs and rip open your belly! I’ll keep your heart as another trophy for Ripper Jericho!”
Slice!
The sound of flesh being cut reached Jericho’s ears, making his twisted smile widen.
He felt the hot liquid rain down from above.
Blood, a lot of hot blood!
“If your belly is cut open, a slight movement will make your intestines fall out. Hehehe, that sight will be so twisted.”
Jericho looked up, wanting to see Rosha’s final struggle.
However, as he raised his head, a skeletal hand slapped down, smashing into his face.
Boom!
A sound like a drumbeat echoed, and seven or eight bloody teeth flew out from Jericho’s gaping mouth.
His nose bone collapsed, blood spurted from his orifices, and his sturdy body spun around and was thrown into the ruins, raising a cloud of black dust.
“Cough! Cough! Ahh! It hurts! My face!”
Jericho’s anguished screams came from the shattered debris.
He clutched his head, feeling an excruciating pain from his face.
The sensitive nerves in his face seemed shattered by Rosha’s slap, leaving Jericho unable to control his basic expressions. His mouth hung slack, emitting pained cries.
He felt like his whole face was broken.
His brain felt like it was swaying, hitting against his skull, causing him dizziness.
“Impossible! Impossible!”
“I am a 16 million bounty pirate, captain of the Ripper Pirates, the infamous Ripper Jericho of the Lubneiru Kingdom! You’re just a country bumpkin. How can you have such power? Who are you?!”
Pain and humiliation fueled Jericho’s anger. Clutching his short sword, he roared his question.
In response, a barrage of splintering wood and bricks signaled Rosha’s demonic figure closing in, ignoring the X-shaped wound on his chest and abdomen from Jericho’s short swords.
Like a pain-immune monster, Rosha ignored the fountain of blood spurting from his wounds. He raised his skeletal hand again, slamming it down like a pile driver.
Boom!
The ground thudded loudly, soil and stones shattered, black dust rose, and a deep pit appeared.
Jericho rolled to the side, eyes full of hatred. His short sword turned from slashing to stabbing, aiming for Rosha’s left side.
He planned to drive the one-foot-long short sword deep into this beast’s body and then shred his insides!
“Die, monster!”
Plunge!
The short sword met no resistance, piercing deep into Rosha’s left side.
“Got him!”
Jericho’s expression froze, but his eyes lit up with joy.
His wrist twisted, ready to churn the monster’s internal organs.
The next moment, a gust of wind whipped up, kicking up dust and black ash. Rosha’s left hand instinctively grabbed backward, seizing Jericho’s right wrist.
The immense force crushed Jericho’s wrist, making him scream again.
Rosha’s fingers were like hydraulic clamps, crushing his wrist bones.
Jericho could see his right wrist shrinking and thinning, like a sponge.
The cracking sound of bones breaking filled the air, making Jericho’s eyes roll back in agony.
“Let go! Bastard! Let go!”
Tears streamed from Jericho’s eyes. His voice trembled, almost crying, as he swung his left short sword, slashing at Rosha’s arm.
Thud, thud.
Each slash felt like a striking thick cowhide.
Though Rosha’s arm was covered in deep gashes and blood flowed freely, his bones remained unscathed. Jericho even saw tiny nicks forming on his sword blade.
Yet, the iron-like hand held his now noodle-thin wrist, slowly pulling the short sword from Rosha’s side.
As the sword left his body with a squelch, a jet of blood sprayed out, drenching Jericho.
The force of the spray stung his face, making his head snap back, nearly knocking him down.
“Monster, you’re not human! You’re a monster!”
Jericho was utterly broken.
He had never seen anyone like Rosha.
Not only did he ignore pain and injuries, but his body showed no signs of falling.
And that blood, spraying like a high-pressure jet, was something Jericho had never seen.
If that blood hit his eyes, it could burst his eyeballs.
Is this still a person?
Even the clone soldiers of the legendary Germa 66 weren’t this absurd.
Run!
He had to escape at all costs!
Staying longer meant death!
Jericho was ruthless.
With a single thought, he swung his left short sword, severing his barely attached right wrist.
Biting his lip, he clutched his severed wrist and stumbled away.
Rosha’s breathing grew heavy, his vision blood-red.
Jericho’s excessive fear led to a misjudgment.
In truth, Rosha’s strength was nearly spent.
His already starved body was exhausted from the violent outburst.
The excessive blood loss brought him back from the brink of madness, slightly clearing his mind.
The price of this clarity was the fatigue, pain, and sorrow flooding from every part of his body.
Hot tears, like boiling water, streamed from his eyes, shattering as they hit the ground.
Rosha struggled to stand, trying to chase the retreating Jericho.
He couldn’t let Jericho escape.
His father’s killer, no amount of water could cleanse this hatred.
He had to devour Jericho, making him feel endless despair!
But his legs felt like lead, rooted to the ground, unable to move.
Moreover, waves of fatigue and pain overwhelmed him.
Rosha didn’t know if he would die the next second.
Or if he could find Jericho if he left the island.
Jericho’s figure grew distant. Rosha bit his lips until they bled, but his rusted body wouldn’t move!
“No! No!!”
The dense blood color in his eyes reappeared with his lone wolf-like roar.
Just as he was about to transform into a beast again, he saw a brilliant streak of light, piercing the sky, turning the shattered Red Leaf Village fiery red!
The island’s temperature soared, the air distorted, and the brilliant red light turned into a crimson wall. The wall separated Jericho, who had reached the edge of the village and was about to board the pirate ship, from the sea, trapping him on the island.
Trapped in a cage with a bloodthirsty beast.
