One Piece Admiral Seirin - Chapter 44
Boom!
The streets of the royal city were filled with flying debris and swirling dust.
In the deep pit on the ground, Ross was bleeding from the corner of his mouth, trying to get up. But a great force pressed him down from behind.
Jones’ thick, snake-like neck was pressing on his back. The maw opened, revealing sharp, rotating fangs that aimed at Ross’ back!
“Why can the teeth rotate? Is this really a normal Zoan-type?”
Ross had used Tekkai, but he had only just begun to master the Six Powers. The hardness of his Tekkai was not extremely high. With Jones’ fangs rotating at high speed, Ross groaned in pain as his back was torn to shreds.
“Life Return!”
A vast energy surged within him, and Ross’s body swelled instantly. His muscles bulged like coiled pythons, pumping with immense power.
Boom!
The ground shattered as Ross flipped over, spreading his fingers to grab the edge of Jones’ maw, forcibly halting the rotating teeth. Despite his hand being torn apart by the sharp fangs, Ross did not let go. His other hand clenched into a fist, muscles bulging, and he punched into the giant worm’s mouth.
Splat!
The massive fist, like forged steel, shattered the teeth inside the worm’s mouth. Blood and flesh splattered as the worm howled in pain.
Jones thrashed, trying to throw Ross off. Ross was lifted, but he planted his feet into the ground, refusing to be moved. He clung to the hideous maw, and with a mighty heave, he hurled the ten-meter-long worm, along with Jones’ untransformed body, into the air.
“ROOM!”
A transparent dome descended, and Law, holding his sword, appeared in mid-air, slashing towards Jones’ chest.
“It’s useless! Your weapon can’t break through my Haki defense! Mi-hahaha!” Jones’ neck contracted, transforming into a human head. He laughed, letting Law’s sword strike his chest, where a layer of Armament Haki appeared.
But Law didn’t stop. Electric arcs danced along his sword.
“Heart Shock!”
Zap!
Electricity surged into Jones’ heart, and his smile froze. He felt a dizzying pain from his chest, causing him to black out and fall.
Seeing this, Ross saw an opportunity. He quickly stomped the ground, turning his fist into a spear and stabbing towards Jones’ remaining eye.
Splat!
This time, Jones’ eye didn’t turn into a maw. Ross’ finger pierced straight through, destroying the eye.
“Argh!”
The blinding pain snapped Jones back to consciousness. He clutched his eye, screaming in agony.
“Good job, Ross!” Law, pale and bleeding, landed, looking at Ross.
“Watch out!” Ross shouted.
“Die, you brats!” Jones released his hand from his face, revealing a bloody eye socket. His body swelled, transforming from his four-meter human form into a twenty-meter-long white worm that filled the entire street.
The giant worm opened its maw filled with countless fangs, descending towards Law.
Boom!
Ross smashed into the worm like a beast, sending it crashing into the side buildings, reducing them to rubble.
On a nearby street, Xis sneered, driving Hawkins back with twin sword strikes. Hawkins was already covered in wounds, his blood soaking his robe. His sword was chipped and worn, unable to match Xis’ ferocity.
“For a swordsman, losing control of your breathing means…”
“You’re dead!” Xis lunged, his left sword slashing at Hawkins’ abdomen. Hawkins raised his sword to block, but Xis, a dual-wielding swordsman, had another sword ready. He flung his right sword, catching Hawkins off guard.
Swoosh!
The sword grazed Hawkins’ side, cutting deep. Blood sprayed from the wound, causing Hawkins to tremble in pain, and weakening his grip on his own sword. Xis smirked, rolling to the ground, and sweeping at Hawkins’ legs.
Hawkins, gritting his teeth against the pain, drove his sword into the ground, blocking Xis’ strike. But the blade snapped, leaving Hawkins defenseless. Seizing the moment, Hawkins grabbed the broken blade, ignoring the cuts on his hand, and hurled it at Xis.
Xis tried to dodge but was blocked by Hawkins’ foot. The delay allowed the blade to pierce Xis’ shoulder, eliciting a scream.
“Damn you! I’ll kill you!” Xis, eyes bloodshot, lunged at Hawkins. Hawkins, unafraid, raised a Tarot card between his fingers.
It was the Justice card.
“ROOM! Shambles!”
A transparent dome descended, and an influential figure intercepted Xis’ sword, baring its steel-like chest to the blade!
