One Piece Admiral Seirin - Chapter 46
On the ruined street, buildings collapsed and shattered, the ground filled with craters, blood splattered everywhere like a child’s careless painting.
In the distance, a giant worm the size of a small mountain rolled and destroyed, emitting deafening roars.
“It turns out that without a head, even a cyborg dies.”
Drake, gradually shrinking from his dinosaur form, wiped the blood off his face, panting slightly as he walked to the body of the cyborg Houten, whose head had been crushed by Ross. He kicked the unlucky guy, sending the body flying.
“Next up is that big worm, right? It’s the first time I’ve seen a Zoan user of this size, a worm even bigger than a dinosaur.”
Law glanced at Drake and pointed at the distant white giant worm.
The four of them gathered, each bearing light or heavy injuries. Fortunately, with Law’s Op-Op Fruit abilities, the cuts and muscle tears on Hawkins and Ross were mended seamlessly, without needing stitches.
Holding his grumbling stomach, Ross looked amazed at his completely healed chest, “It’s completely healed? Law, your ability is like Crazy Diamond.”
“What’s that?”
A question mark appeared over Law’s head. Then, he hugged Kikoku, looking at Ross and Hawkins, “I only reattached your torn flesh within the operation room; it’s not completely healed. Intense movement will definitely tear it again.”
Law stopped, smiling, and looked at Hawkins.
“Sorry, we haven’t introduced ourselves yet. I’m Ross.”
Ross pointed at himself, then at the exasperated Drake: “This one-eyed thug is Drake.”
Drake silently removed his eyepatch.
He then pointed at Law: “This is Trafalgar Law.”
“To make it short, our goal is to head to the palace, find the new king of this country and the mastermind, capture or eliminate them. Mr. Hawkins, do you want to join us?”
Ross’s invitation made Drake and Law facepalm simultaneously.
Drake’s mind was screaming, ‘Was I crazy to bring this kid on a mission? Who would dare go to such a dangerous place with him?’
“No problem. I need to get something from the palace,” Hawkins replied calmly, making Drake’s expression turn interesting.
A hand patted his shoulder, and Ross said earnestly:
“Our infiltration into the Prince Kingdom was perfect. Not only did we get in, but we also gained two powerful allies.”
“You call this an infiltration?”
Drake looked at the collapsed buildings, scattered bodies, and the rampaging giant worm in the distance, speechless.
Ross took a deep breath, raising his voice seriously.
“Alright, everyone! Let’s take down this disgusting worm first!”
“Why not head to the palace while it’s rampaging? It can’t catch up to us without its eyes,” Drake questioned as they ran toward the worm.
“We need to try and see if we can kill or severely injure this monster,” Law replied while running, extending his hand to create a spinning circle of air.
“This creature is strong. If it joins the palace battle alongside Trebol, our situation will worsen. Now is a rare chance to surround it. If we can’t kill or severely injure it, we’ll retreat to the palace to meet Bepo and the others.”
“ROOM!”
Law waved his right hand, the transparent dome covering them as they ran.
Ross took the sword thrown by Hawkins and shouted, “Drake, handle the front! Hawkins, attack the sides! Law, assist!”
“Charge!”
“Understood.”
The transparent dome fell, and the four of them vanished.
Around the writhing white worm, four figures appeared out of thin air.
Drake landed in front of the giant worm, his body rapidly expanding, transforming back into a seven to eight-meter tall green dinosaur. He opened his jaws, full of sharp teeth, and bit toward the worm.
He possessed the Ancient Zoan Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model Allosaurus. Ordinary Zoan fruits grant users great recovery, defense, and stamina.
Ancient Zoan fruits, even among Zoans, are exceptional. Those with such abilities are often like humanoid tanks, tougher than robots made of pure steel.
Apart from the rarer Mythical Zoans, Drake’s fruit is among the best.
“Roar!”
With a deafening roar, the dinosaur opened its massive jaws, ready to bite the white giant worm.
“Roar!”
The next moment, an even louder roar echoed across the entire royal city, like thunder.
In the dinosaur’s huge pupils, the giant worm lifted its head, revealing a gaping mouth like an abyss. Its cylindrical body had no eyes, nose, or limbs, only a bottomless terrifying mouth.
The mouth, over four meters wide, was filled with countless teeth, like stalactites hanging in a dark red cave.
With the worm’s roar, a violent stench and sticky saliva splattered all over Drake.
The massive dinosaur body was sent flying backward by the shockwave of the worm’s roar, crashing heavily to the ground.
Simultaneously.
From above, left, and right, Ross, Law, and Hawkins swung their swords.
Three sharp slashes cut into the worm’s tough skin.
Ross’s eyes were bloodshot, his arms bulging with power as he pulled down on the hilt.
Rip!
The back of the giant worm was cut open, a gash over two meters long.
Blood spurted out like a fountain, drenching him.
“Roar!”
The giant worm roared in pain, its long body rapidly contracting from twenty meters to less than three, resembling a large water tank.
The worm’s body tightened like a huge spring, clamping down on their weapons, making them impossible to pull out.
The worm’s muscles undulated like waves, swallowing Law’s Kikoku into its body.
“Damn it! My sword!”
Law reached for the disappearing hilt, but Ross yelled, “Don’t lose your mind! Transport us!”
Law gritted his teeth, opening the dome to cover the three of them.
Boom!
The worm, now like a ball of flesh, suddenly expanded, growing into a ten-meter-wide white sphere that crushed surrounding buildings.
Rumble!
The worm rolled quickly towards the three of them who had just landed.
Buildings along the way were crushed to powder.
In the royal city, dust filled the air, blotting out the sky.
Ross frowned, “Why can it find our position so precisely? Could it be that it has Observation Haki as well?”
The three were puzzled.
Behind the rolling worm, Drake, in his dinosaur form, was running toward them.
Suddenly, Hawkins noticed two familiar figures standing on a rooftop, staring blankly.
It was the pub owner and his son, Jimmy.
No, not just them.
From some point, on the surrounding streets, the citizens of the royal city appeared, stiffly staring at the three with eerie eyes.
