One Piece Admiral Seirin - Chapter 52
As they got closer, the four of them saw the white giant worm shedding countless small worms, which fell to the ground in droves. These tiny worms scurried in all directions, burrowing into any living being they encountered and controlling them to surround and block the four companions!
As the small worms fell, the giant worm’s body shrank. The ground shook as the white worm opened its mouth, the saw-like teeth cutting into the earth, quickly digging a large hole. It burrowed its massive body into the hole.
Rosha and his team saw the ground around them rising and cracking, rapidly approaching them.
Drake’s eyes nearly bulged out of his head, and he couldn’t help but shout, “Why is it faster underground than it is on the surface?”
“Who knows! Why don’t you go ask it yourself?” Rosha yelled back.
Law turned his head, looking puzzled. Drake was also stunned. Even Hawkins twitched his cheek, glancing over.
“What are you all staring at me for?” Rosha asked, confused, munching away.
In unison, the three shouted, “Why are you still eating at a time like this?!”
“Because someone threw me food, and it’s delicious,” Rosha replied, chewing on a cucumber and catching a cabbage hurled from the crowd. He looked at the dust-covered cabbage, shook his head regretfully, and muttered, “Too dirty to eat without washing.”
“This is not the time for that, idiot!”
Boom!
The ground exploded as the giant worm burst out, knocking the four of them into the air and opening its tooth-filled mouth to swallow them whole.
“Law! Expand your domain!” Rosha shouted while tearing at the cabbage.
“Shut up!”
In front of the royal palace, a rocket launcher shot down from above, shattering the bridge Gulus had just repaired.
Peacock, her face pale and bleeding from the corner of her mouth, stepped out, gripping her black whip tightly.
Crack!
Crack!
This time, the black whip didn’t strike anyone but fell onto the bridge beneath her feet. With the activation of her Whip-Whip Fruit ability, even inanimate objects could be controlled by Peacock. The stone bridge was no exception!
To Trebol and his group’s stunned eyes, the ancient stone bridge, which had stood for centuries, seemed to come to life. It disconnected from the royal palace and, like a long-legged camel, carried Peacock and the others, stepping over sixty meters at a time to the streets below.
The towering bridge moved, carrying them away.
“What? What kind of ability is this? It’s too bizarre!” Trebol was so shocked that he nearly lost his mucus.
“Wow! This is amazing! The power of a Devil Fruit!” Gulus exclaimed with excitement. Bepo and the others also cheered in joy.
“The enemy won’t let us go that easily. Don’t celebrate too soon,” one of the Marine officers warned, gripping his sword tightly as Baby 5, in her missile form, shot toward them from the palace roof.
In the sky, Buffalo dove again.
“Buffalo! Don’t engage. Stay in the air and protect those two treasures! When Doflamingo arrives, he’ll be pleased,” Trebol shouted from afar.
“They’re all yours then. I’ll keep watch from above,” Buffalo replied, flying back up.
On closer inspection, you could see two golden treasure chests chained to his body, glinting in the sunlight.
From the palace window, Trebol, dripping mucus, grabbed a large glob and flung it forward.
“Sticky Chain!”
The sticky liquid flew in an arc, landing on the bridge before the officers.
“Cut it!”
Several officers rushed forward, slashing at the sticky chain with their swords. Meanwhile, Baby 5, in missile form, paused above them and dove straight down.
“Fools! Be blown to pieces!” Baby 5 giggled.
“Sorry, but it won’t be that easy,” Gulus said, grabbing a stone and quickly molding it into a round clay ball, then hurling it at Baby 5’s missile form.
“Clay Bomb!”
Whoosh!
The clay bomb soared over their heads, striking the black missile.
Boom!
A fiery explosion erupted above the officers, the force of the blast sending them reeling.
In that moment of delay, the sticky liquid retracted, pulling a white figure straight toward them.
“Sticky Cannon!”
Trebol, mid-air, fired a dozen large white sticky balls at Peacock and the others.
“Don’t touch it! You’ll get stuck! Clay Wall!”
Gulus pressed his hands against the bridge, softening the stone and raising it to shield them.
Splat! Splat! Splat!
The sticky balls hit the wall, leaving Trebol fuming.
“Damn that kid, Ilia’s brother!”
“Sticky Meteor!”
Trebol yanked the sticky mass, tearing up a large chunk of the bridge, and hurled it at the clay wall.
Boom!
The stone and clay shattered, the bridge swaying and cracking.
From the distance, explosions echoed in the sky.
Bepo and the others looked up to see Gladius, his feet swelling and exploding, propelling him faster than a missile.
“No! Not another one playing with bombs! These guys are too dangerous,” Bepo exclaimed.
“Trebol, stick them in place. I’ll finish them all in one go!” Gladius, his body swelling like a giant balloon, shouted from above.
As his body rapidly expanded, an intense aura emanated from him, terrifying everyone.
“Leave it to me! Sticky Wave!”
Trebol landed, spewing out a massive wave of sticky liquid, instantly covering the entire bridge.
“You guys go! I’ll hold them off! Clay Golem!”
Gulus stomped on the ground, softening the bridge to swallow Peacock, Bepo, and the officers, dropping them to the streets below.
In the blink of an eye, while the sticky wave obscured everyone’s view, clay golems resembling Peacock and the others appeared on the bridge, standing motionless.
Gulus, his expression shifting, looked up to see Gladius, Baby 5 in missile form, and Trebol charging at them.
“Explosions? I can do that too!”
Grinning, Gulus pressed his hands to the bridge, forming round clay bombs.
“Clay Bombs!”
“Die! Full-Body Explosion!” Gladius roared, falling.
Trebol sneered, igniting the sticky wave.
“Blow it all up!”
“Pink Missile!” Baby 5 transformed into a pink missile, diving down.
Boom!!
The simultaneous release of explosive abilities from the four Devil Fruit users created a massive mushroom cloud over the streets before the royal palace.
The surging shockwave toppled buildings in its path.
Peacock and the others, just landing, were caught by the blast, coughing up blood as they were blown away.
The ancient stone bridge disintegrated into dust.
Even the inland sea behind it surged with giant waves, flooding the royal palace.
On the palace rooftop, Ilia sat, watching the magnificent scene with a faint smile.
“The show has begun.”
