One Piece Admiral Seirin - Chapter 54
Boom!
A bright flash of fire lit up the sky.
Gladius, feeling frustrated, had not yet grabbed Law when Baby 5 rammed into him from behind, causing him to cough up blood. This triggered a massive explosion, shrouding his body in thick smoke.
Bang!
The air below exploded as Rosha finally leaped under Law, catching him around the waist and falling towards the ground.
“Captain!”
On the rooftop, Bepo, who had been awakened by Drake, rushed over with the others.
Bepo rubbed his ear, looking worriedly at the pale-faced Law. “Captain, are you okay?”
“Huff, I’m fine, just a bit exhausted,” Law panted, supported by his comrades as he walked to the side.
Rosha finally had a moment to check on the Razor Squad’s condition.
The first thing he saw was the Marine officer who had his legs severed. Drake was holding the comrade, his eyes red, punching the rooftop in frustration.
Rosha’s heart sank, feeling a heavy weight. “Did he…”
Drake sniffled, choking up, “He’s still alive.”
Rosha plopped down, pointing a finger at Drake. “If he’s not dead, why are you so sad? You scared the crap out of me, you bastard.”
Drake’s eyes were red, looking at the officer’s stumps. “But his legs are gone.”
“Sigh.” Rosha’s eyes dimmed, sighing heavily. “Yeah, although he survived, losing his legs means his career as a Marine is over.”
This is the harsh reality for the lower-ranking Marines in this world. In a world where individual power dominates the seas, the strong can easily wipe out nations, and the weak often serve as cannon fodder. Even a routine mission can result in heavy casualties for those without strength.
Rosha glanced at the other dozen officers, noting that most were intact but had internal injuries from the earlier explosion.
Peacock had also awakened, frowning as she gazed towards the palace. “Is his leg still there? If it is, I can reattach it.”
Suddenly, a weak voice spoke beside Rosha and Drake. It was Law. Supported by Bepo and Penguin, he walked over.
Rosha’s eyes lit up with surprise. “Right, I almost forgot we have a doctor here!”
The Razor Squad officers quickly searched around. Law crouched to examine the officer’s wound. “Even if we can’t find the legs, I can attach someone else’s legs.”
“Someone else’s legs?” Everyone was stunned, looking at each other.
Drake, with a resolute expression, stood up. “As the commanding officer, I must ensure they return safely!”
To Law’s bewildered gaze, Drake rolled up his pants, revealing hairy legs, and handed a long knife from an officer’s belt. “Use my legs.”
When the officers heard this, they were moved to tears. “Captain Drake! No, use my legs!”
“Yes, use mine! I’m not strong enough to be of much help anyway.”
They choked back tears, showing their legs to Law.
Law, chuckling, pointed towards the city. “I meant using a pirate’s legs.”
“A pirate’s legs?” Everyone was momentarily dumbfounded.
Drake, understanding, punched his palm. “Oh, I get it. We’ll find a pirate and make him voluntarily give up his legs.”
“Will a pirate agree?” someone questioned.
“They’ll have to if we beat them into submission,” Drake replied.
The Razor Squad’s spirits were suddenly high, filled with determination.
Fortunately, the officer’s legs were found, sparing some unlucky pirate from losing his legs.
Rosha, shaking his head with a wry smile, walked over to Peacock. “Major, what are you looking at?”
Peacock, frowning, looked towards a large crater by the inland sea. “Prince Gerus shielded us from Trebol and his gang’s attack. I don’t know if he’s alive.”
“What? He actually did that?” Rosha was shocked.
Peacock, for the first time, showed a hint of shame. “As Marines, being saved by the one we were supposed to rescue is a disgrace.”
Drake, also coming over, drew his weapon. “That prince has my respect. If he survives, I’ll make sure he gets a recommendation to join the Marines.”
“Well then…” Rosha took a deep breath, looking towards Trebol, Gladius, and an angry Baby 5 approaching from the street.
“Get ready. The real fight is about to start.”
“Don’t forget there’s still a giant worm behind us,” Drake said, hoisting his weapon on his shoulder.
Rosha turned to Law, treating the officers. “Law, I have a feeling your ability might be the key to this battle. Stay here, recover your strength, and support us when you see the best opportunity.”
Law nodded solemnly. “Got it.”
“Here, this might help you recover,” Rosha said, handing Law a hard baguette.
Law’s mouth twitched. “I told you I hate bread, and where did you even get this?”
“Hawkins, what about you?” Rosha asked.
Hawkins took a long sword from an officer. “I’m fine. Let’s go. I have a feeling this battle will be a turning point in our fates.”
He held up a tarot card. “The Wheel of Fortune has begun to turn.”
“Hahaha, then let’s make the most of it! Let’s move!”
“Drake, Hawkins, you take on the giant worm.”
“Officers, find Prince Gerus!”
“Major Peacock, let’s go!”
Swish, swish, swish!
The four figures sped off the rooftop.
Law watched them with a serious expression. He knew that compared to the giant worm, the Donquixote Family members were the real threat.
“Rosha! Remember to keep telling Baby 5 you need her!” Law suddenly shouted.
In mid-air, Rosha grinned, seeing Trebol and Gladius’s dark expressions.
“Baby 5! Stay away from us!” Gladius snapped.
Baby 5 glared at the rooftop, lifting her maid skirt to reveal her right leg, which transformed into a cannon aimed at Rosha.
“I won’t be misled again!”
Rosha’s smile widened, his eyes meeting Trebol and Gladius’s furious gazes.
“Baby 5, I need you to help me take down Trebol and Gladius!”
