One Piece Admiral Seirin - Chapter 61
Inside the Prince’s castle, centered around Doflamingo, a mass of black and red energy suddenly expanded, impacting in all directions and shaking the ground.
The terrifyingly savage aura, like an abyss, spread unchecked with this black-red energy, rampaging through the entire castle.
Anyone within the area covered by the black-red energy, be they surviving castle residents or pirates hiding in the city, rolled their eyes back and collapsed, foaming at the mouth.
Bepo, who had just reached Law, felt a hammering in his head and fell to the ground with a muffled groan, along with the others.
By the sea within the castle, several officers held up Prince Groose, whom they had found in the water. The cliff was too steep and smooth, and they lacked the skill of Moon Walk, so they hadn’t been able to climb up.
As the circle of black-red energy swept across, almost all the officers showed signs of losing consciousness.
Only one captain bit down hard on his tongue, drawing blood to stimulate his nerves and force himself to stay awake. Holding Groose under his arm, he looked in horror towards the top of the cliff.
“This is… Conqueror’s Haki! Who has arrived?”
The captain’s face was full of worry, “Captain Drake, Major Pez, Ensign Rosha, please don’t let anything happen to you!”
At the onion-shaped palace top, Ilya dodged Hawkins’ attack with a smile and looked at the arriving Doflamingo.
“Heh heh, Doflamingo, you seem a bit late. You missed the exciting part of this play. But your arrival isn’t too late, as you are the final actor, representing the ‘Power’ antagonist.”
A thin thread sliced through the air. Ilya raised his right arm, covered in a pitch-black Haki, and blocked it.
The thread snapped against his arm.
“Ilya, you dare scheme against me?”
Doflamingo, filled with boundless rage, walked towards where Rosha had fallen, glancing at Ilya.
Ilya shrugged, “We each have our needs. You entered the game willingly. But I have bad news. The Mythical Zoan Kirin fruit you wanted has already been eaten by a young Marine representing ‘Destiny.’ Yes, the one who killed your family.”
Across a small sea, Doflamingo’s face darkened. Looking at the smiling Ilya, a vein throbbed on his forehead. He swung his right hand towards the palace.
“Overheat!”
White threads on the ground twisted into a spiral drill, coated in black Haki, and pierced Ilya’s raised arm.
Ilya grunted, his arm penetrated, and the drill lodged in the black Haki on his chest. He was sent flying, carving a trench on the palace roof. Blood seeped from Ilya’s mouth.
He sat up, spreading his arms as if embracing the world, with a smile of expectation.
“The Bloodline has exited, Destiny is weak, Power surges, and Wisdom… watches from the sidelines.”
“Let’s see what this climax brings.”
“And what is the answer revealed at the end?”
Nearby, Hawkins, half his body transformed into straw, extended his arm three meters, steel nails between his fingers. He glanced at Ilya, then towards the castle.
Hawkins had obtained a Devil Fruit power that suited him well. The Paramecia-type Straw-Straw Fruit has a special semi-physical and semi-mystical ability.
He came to the Prince’s Kingdom alone. This year, he had not yet formed his pirate crew.
Originally planning to find the predicted fruit alone, he encountered Rosha, Law, and Drake and became involved in this dangerous situation.
When Rosha invited him, Hawkins did not refuse. He believed in fate, thinking everything he encountered was destiny’s gears turning.
Life and death were predetermined. Whether he obtained the power he wanted was the same.
The only stone bridge to the castle was destroyed. With his current strength and injuries, crossing the hundred-meter-wide sea was impossible.
Mig Jones’ punch nearly killed him. The Straw-Straw Fruit could not restore his stamina quickly.
Looking at Doflamingo, exuding a violent aura, Hawkins put away his Straw-Straw Fruit transformation and took out a crumpled tarot card.
He drew one card without shuffling, letting the rest fall into the sea.
He looked at it, then sat down like Ilya, watching the final showdown.
“Everything is destined, but I didn’t see that man’s death.”
“Is the gap so wide? Even with a Mythical Zoan, he couldn’t withstand Doflamingo’s Five-Color Strings.”
The shattered ground formed a ten-meter-deep crater. Rosha’s five-meter-tall body lay inside, with five clean wounds on his chest. The bleeding was stopping and scabbing over.
This was why Zoan users were called tough. And he was a rarer Mythical Zoan.
The opening above darkened, a pink-cloaked figure blocking the sunlight, casting a shadow over Rosha.
Seeing Rosha’s Kirin form, Doflamingo’s vein throbbed.
This kid had eaten the Mythical Zoan fruit he intended to trade with Kaido. The amazing form matched the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia’s description of the Kirin Zoan.
Deer antlers, dragon scales, claws, long tail, and a faint aura of wind and thunder.
For this fruit, Doflamingo came from the New World. He had planned major deals with Kaido involving weapons trade and maritime protection.
This fruit was crucial for his family’s rise. But now, a weak kid had eaten it.
Worse, he had already told Kaido the ‘good news.’
But the most infuriating was that the kid had killed Gladius cruelly.
Without his timely arrival, Trebol’s head would have been separated.
How many years?
Doflamingo couldn’t remember the last time he felt this uncontrollable rage.
“Kid! You’ve done well! Regardless of being a Marine or Pirate, killing my family means you pay. You and the Prince Kingdom will die with Gladius.”
Doflamingo, eyes red, raised his right hand. Threads shot into the sky, spreading and covering the island.
On a distant rooftop, Law held his severed arm, watching the threads with a pale face.
“Birdcage!”
