One Piece Admiral Seirin - Chapter 63
Doflamingo flew up and slowly floated in the direction Rosha had been thrown.
“Fufufufu, brat, didn’t you have a lot to say? Why so quiet now?”
Rosha’s body crashed through a mud wall, completely soaked in blood. His Kirin form had been beaten out of him. Despite the Mythical Zoan’s incredible recovery ability, his body was now riddled with holes from Doflamingo’s threads, like a leaking water bag.
Every muscle trembled, waves of excruciating pain crashing into his mind.
Doflamingo descended slowly, looking down at Rosha from above.
“Keep talking, weren’t you…”
Boom!
A building to the left suddenly exploded, and a green dinosaur burst through the debris, opening its mouth full of sharp teeth to bite Doflamingo!
“Ancient Zoan, huh? Another great power wasted on a weakling.”
Doflamingo, as if anticipating this, leisurely spread his fingers.
“Parasite String!”
Dozens of invisible threads fell from the sky, connecting to the dinosaur. Just as the bloodthirsty maw was about to bite Doflamingo, the massive beast suddenly stopped, unable to move forward.
The dinosaur glared at Doflamingo, struggling but completely under control, only able to let out a thunderous roar.
“Doflamingo! Stay away from him! Go back to Dressrosa! This is not your place!”
“Noisy.”
Doflamingo’s face turned icy as he clenched his fingers, causing Drake’s mouth to snap shut. He turned his attention back to Rosha, a playful smile appearing on his face.
“Didn’t expect anyone to worry about you so much.”
He glanced at the motionless dinosaur beside him, “Navy secret unit, Sword’s captain, Headquarters Major X Drake, Ancient Zoan Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Allosaurus form. For him to worry about you, brat, you must not be an ordinary character.”
Ignoring Drake’s shock, Doflamingo crouched down and scrutinized Rosha, who had reverted to his human form.
Silver hair, blue eyes, a somewhat young face, but with fierce eyes like a young wolf.
After a long examination, Doflamingo still couldn’t tell which high-ranking Navy officer Rosha resembled.
As a former Celestial Dragon, Doflamingo had close ties with the World Government more than any other Warlord of the Sea. He knew many secrets of government organizations, including the secret unit Sword.
Most mid-to-high-level members of Sword came from Navy high command families. Even if not, they were related to some significant figures in the Navy.
Drake’s father was once a Navy officer. Despite his father later becoming a pirate, Drake joined the Navy, serving under Vice Admiral Tsuru, making him a standout among the new generation of Navy officers. His conspicuous fruit ability had drawn much attention.
“Fufufufu, no matter. I’ll kill you first. I have no patience to wait for the birdcage to close.”
Doflamingo spread his fingers towards Rosha.
Rosha glared at him, his chest heaving. Suddenly, he clenched his fist and swung at the close Doflamingo.
“Fufufufu, a dying struggle.”
“Parasite String.”
Doflamingo’s fingers twitched, and threads connected to Rosha. His punch stopped a centimeter from Doflamingo’s face.
Rosha felt his body lose control, becoming a puppet in Doflamingo’s hands. His right hand remained in a punching position, and Doflamingo extended his finger, shooting out a serrated thread that slashed Rosha’s arm.
“Thread Saw.”
The serrated thread continuously shot from Doflamingo’s finger, cutting Rosha’s arm.
He wanted to slowly slice this defiant brat into pieces to see if he truly didn’t fear death.
As Rosha’s arm was cut open, revealing white bone, Drake’s eyes turned red.
Damn it!
This feeling of helplessness!
No matter how angry his inner voice roared, his body couldn’t break free from Doflamingo’s control.
His usually proud Ancient Zoan body was a joke to Doflamingo.
The thread saw continued cutting, the blood initially gushing, then dripping slowly.
Rosha’s face grew paler, his breath weaker. Yet his eyes grew colder, tinged with blood.
Doflamingo’s face was filled with sadistic satisfaction.
Ten seconds, twenty seconds, thirty seconds.
The thread saw kept working, but Rosha’s arm remained intact, suspended in the air.
Doflamingo’s smile gradually froze.
He looked at Rosha’s arm, noticing the smooth, uncut surface of the bone.
Doflamingo’s pupils contracted.
How is this possible?
He knew the cutting power of his thread saw well.
Law’s right arm was severed by a mere brush of the thread saw.
But this boy’s arm showed no signs of cutting after dozens of seconds.
Could this boy be a modified human?
No, even a cyborg couldn’t withstand his thread saw.
Seeing Doflamingo’s furrowed brows, Rosha weakly laughed.
“Why aren’t you cutting? Is your thread going soft? You look weak, clown.”
Doflamingo coldly stared, activating the thread saw again. This time, the threads were coated in black Armament Haki.
As the threads shot out, Rosha’s bone was cut again.
But Doflamingo’s expression grew darker.
The bone showed only a shallow mark.
At this rate, it would take over ten minutes to sever Rosha’s arm.
“What kind of monster are you?”
Doflamingo looked at Rosha, feeling shaken.
“Monster? No, I’m just tough. Hahaha… But look behind you.”
Rosha’s breathing was weak, but he looked mockingly at Doflamingo’s back.
Distracted by Rosha’s abnormality, Doflamingo turned sharply.
He saw Law, with one arm, stabbing a sword into the heart of the unconscious Trebol, his usually handsome face twisted.
“Law!!”
Doflamingo’s eyes turned blood red, and he vanished from Rosha’s front.
He reappeared above Law, his raised right foot wrapped in heavy Armament Haki, aiming to crush Law’s head.
“Hahaha! Hahahaha! Clown! Doflamingo, you’re just a clown!”
Rosha lay in the rubble, his exposed bone arm dangling, his body full of holes and blood, yet he laughed fearlessly.
“Are you old? Only the old fear death. We’re still young. Do you think we fear death? Hey! Drake, Hawkins, Law! Tell me, do you fear death?”
Drake couldn’t open his mouth, but his eyes were wide, showing his thoughts.
“Death? The final destination for all life, what is there to fear?” Hawkins said faintly from the palace rooftop.
Law didn’t speak, only a mocking smile on his lips as Doflamingo’s kick came down.
Suddenly, the air temperature plummeted, a bone-chilling cold sweeping through the Prince’s castle.
“Ara ara, that speech got my blood boiling.”
“Hope I’m not too late…”
