One Piece Admiral Silver Fox - Chapter 16
New World, Shaitan Island!
A once prosperous medium-sized island is now reduced to ruins. The entire island resembles a lone leaf in the vast ocean, ready to collapse and sink into the depths at any moment.
Lightning flashes and thunder roars, casting a dark pall over the sky. The surrounding sea of Shaitan Island is turbulent and chaotic, creating a suffocating atmosphere. Those with weak wills might faint and foam at the mouth from sheer terror.
Heaven collapses, and earth shatters as rolling thunder spreads across the boundless clouds, occasionally striking the sea, creating a scene of absolute devastation.
Accompanying this, the powerful pressure of mountain-crumbling explosions is ongoing.
Howling hurricanes roar like primordial beasts, sweeping through the boundless clouds and waves with impunity as rain and wind intermingle.
One can see two figures above Shaitan Island, their bodies flickering amidst thunderous claps, colliding like two meteors. Pressure waves emanate from them, spreading out in circles, with a dense web of black and red lightning creating a cataclysmic spider web.
Suddenly, a streak of light descends from the sky. Hills rise from the ground, and deep fissures tear through the land, forming a massive basin on Shaitan Island amidst continuous explosions.
A figure appears on a towering hill.
Dressed in a magenta shirt and blood-red trousers, with long silver hair cascading to his waist, his eyes resemble the most beautiful blood jade, filled with sharpness and depth.
Tall and slender, he holds a black umbrella in his right hand with a bat-shaped handle, looking extremely stylish and sinister.
Snap…
The supreme will of terror causes the sky filled with dark clouds to tilt. The dense black and red lightning serves as a backdrop for this man.
Baron Blood Redfield is a monster who stands alone and is equalled only by the Pirate King, Whitebeard, and Golden Lion.
Known as the Lone Red, Red Count, and the Lonely Red.
“Hahaha… Kong, you’re getting old.”
With a commanding presence, his blood-red eyes gaze down, his voice resounding across the heavens.
From the dusty basin, a figure rises, staring coldly at the Lonely Red, surrounded by a powerful aura.
Tall and muscular, with a broad, bare chest, his muscles like boulders containing explosive power, though marred by two bleeding scars.
This man bears a stitched scar under his left eye and a trace of blood at the corner of his mouth, looking somewhat battered and not in the best condition.
Steel Bone Kong, the current Fleet Admiral of the Marines, is now 80 years old.
Nine days and nights of intense combat have left him somewhat weary.
Yet, the Lonely Red is not as relaxed as he appears, as evidenced by the blood at the corner of his mouth and his heaving chest.
“Baron, killing the Five Elders of the Celestial Dragons has enraged them. There’s no escape for you now.”
Spitting out clotted blood, Kong gazes solemnly at the Lonely Red.
“So they sent you? I expected Garp, Sengoku, or even Zephyr.”
The Lonely Red descends from the hill to hover at eye level with Kong, his expression wicked.
“You shouldn’t have killed them.”
With a stern face, Kong’s body exudes steaming heat, his muscles tensing.
“Killed them? They were just trash. Besides, it’s not the first time.”
Holding the black umbrella casually, the Lonely Red smiles devilishly, his eyes narrowing slightly, revealing his caution.
Were it not for Kong’s old age, he might truly be defeated today, but now…
A gust of wind lifts their hair and collars as their powerful auras clash, cracking the stormy sky. With a radiant ring, their fists and the black umbrella collide.
Swish…
They vanish.
The next moment, they reappear a hundred meters away, their knees colliding like comets, causing a catastrophic shockwave. Black and red lightning spreads around, transforming the area into a canyon of crumbling earth.
The black umbrella, coated in Armament Haki, glows red.
Kong sidesteps, avoiding a massive slash that splits hills and sea before vanishing on the horizon.
At the same time, the Lonely Red’s left hand, wrapped in purplish-red Armament Haki, aims for Kong’s head.
With an arm coated in the most solid defence, Kong blocks in front of his face.
An explosion ensues, sending boulders flying like cannonballs.
The next second, they are airborne again, Kong’s kick roaring through the atmosphere, but the Lonely Red vanishes first.
Sensing danger, Kong disappears in time, avoiding a horizontal slash that splits mountains and divides the sky.
Appearing behind the Lonely Red, Kong raises his right arm, veins bulging, and strikes.
The Lonely Red’s shadow fades, and Kong’s punch creates a bottomless crater.
Swish swish…
With extreme speed and immense power, everything collapses where they tread, occasionally sending kilometre-long slashes through the sky, revealing a glimpse of light.
A foot descends like a collapsing mountain, creating an unstoppable force of destruction.
They fight for another day, marking the tenth day of their intense, visually spectacular combat.
Boom… boom…
Wind and rain intensify as a radiant ring slams down through the clouds. Shaitan Island reveals a chasm from its centre, extending to the sea.
Earthquakes, tsunamis, and shifting tectonic plates signify the island’s imminent collapse, the third medium-sized island they’ve destroyed in their nine-day battle.
Shing…
A sword light flashes, and a brilliant stream falls from the sky, leaving Kong in a pool of blood.
Following this, a slash splits the shattered crater like a watermelon, creating a bottomless pit connected to the abyss, with seawater rushing into a vast lake.
Panting heavily, the Lonely Red wipes the blood from his mouth and straightens his broken ribs.
Splashing water, Kong rises from the lake, landing on the ruins. The golden-black Armament Haki on his chest fades, but a sword mark remains, bleeding profusely.
Breathing heavily, Kong is drenched in sweat, pale and coughing blood.
At over 80 years old, his body shows signs of aging. Nine days and nights of intense combat would be too much for a young man, let alone Kong.
These small details highlight Kong’s formidable nature.
Currently, the strongest in the Marines is not Garp, Sengoku, or Zephyr, but Kong.
Advanced Armament Haki can manifest different colours based on the wielder’s strength.
In the anime, the colours are for visual effect, so Armament Haki doesn’t have many colours.
For effect, this story also colours Haki, with future chapters exploring other uses of the three Haki types.
