One Piece Admiral Silver Fox - Chapter 5
“Roar!”
The tiger lunged, its gaping mouth dripping with foul-smelling saliva.
Leaping to the left, Foxy narrowly avoided the sharp claws. He quickly grasped the machete at his waist, his left hand forming a delicate orchid finger, ready and alert.
Crouching low, the tiger paced back and forth, its eyes gleaming with ferocity as it stared at Foxy.
His heartbeat slowed, and Foxy tensed his body, acutely aware of the danger.
Man and tiger stared each other down, the tension palpable.
With a snarl, the tiger struck first, its massive paw slashing at Foxy. In the nick of time, Foxy dodged, his machete swinging towards the tiger.
Knowing the machete’s danger, the tiger backed away, its face scar still faintly aching from a previous encounter.
Keeping his distance, the tiger’s thick tail hit the ground before it pounced again.
Foxy might have wet himself in fear if this had happened before he crossed over.
Although his heart still pounded, he was no longer the same person.
He had the powers of the Slow-Slow Fruit.
Raising his left hand, a pink ring of light shot towards the tiger, its vibrant color full of girlish charm.
But coming from a lecherous guy like Foxy, it felt oddly out of place.
Knowing the light ring’s danger, the tiger veered to the right, closing in on Foxy.
Its fierce gaze showed disdain, as the pink ring wasn’t very fast. After its first encounter, the tiger had stayed wary.
Its intelligence had helped it dominate its territory.
Smugly disdainful, the tiger reached Foxy’s right side, its right paw slashing down with a chilling gleam. If Foxy got hit, he’d be in serious trouble.
The tiger already saw Foxy falling beneath its claws.
Its momentum surged, becoming even more imposing.
But at that moment, the machete in Foxy’s right hand suddenly appeared in his left, while his right hand formed an orchid finger, shooting a pink ring straight at the tiger’s face.
Time slowed. The tiger’s eyes widened in horror, watching helplessly as it leaped into the air, then slowly descended.
“Little tiger, you’re still too young.”
Foxy walked up to the tiger, tapping its face with the machete as it slowly fell, his eyes showing the same disdain and smugness.
“Since you’ve worked so hard, I’ll let you go today. But could you brush your teeth? That smell…”
Pinching his nose, Foxy backed away in disgust, waiting for the slow time to end.
3, 2, 1.
With a snap of his fingers, time resumed, and the tiger crashed to the ground, struggling to get up, baring its teeth at Foxy.
“It’s getting late, I’ll find you again tomorrow.”
Waving, Foxy disappeared into the forest in a flash.
The tiger stayed alert, watching until the forest was silent, then quickly fled. It planned to move its lair.
Though it felt humiliated, the human was getting stronger, and it couldn’t win.
Unaware of the tiger’s thoughts, Foxy pondered a problem.
He realized the Slow-Slow Fruit couldn’t slow down an enemy’s thoughts, which was a big issue.
In this world, there was a thing called Conqueror’s Haki, a rare trait of kings. Those with Conqueror’s Haki could intimidate and knock out weaker opponents without lifting a finger, linked to willpower and spirit.
If he encountered someone with Conqueror’s Haki, what would he do?
Foxy was overthinking. The chances of meeting a Conqueror’s Haki user were minuscule.
Even if he did, by then, he’d be much stronger.
Besides, he had only begun developing the Slow-Slow Fruit and was still young.
He was worrying unnecessarily.
Lost in thought, Foxy suddenly noticed smoke rising from the direction of the village.
A bad feeling hit him, and he sped up.
Meanwhile, at the village.
A pirate ship had docked unnoticed, its Jolly Roger flying. Over forty pirates stormed the village, killing and looting without warning.
“Kill all the villagers, take all the treasure!”
A scar-faced man with a large machete ordered, as the pirates mercilessly attacked.
“Aphelandra!”
Kurt held onto Aphelandra tightly, their son already lying in a pool of blood. Kurt had been kicked by a pirate, now struggling to breathe with broken ribs.
“After months at sea, I’ve been itching for this.”
A hideous pirate with greedy eyes grabbed Aphelandra’s clothes, starting to tear at them.
“I love women in their fifties, they’ve got the experience.”
“Kurt! Kurt!”
Grasping her chest in terror, Aphelandra watched the pirate approach.
“Let go of Aphelandra!”
Kurt struggled to his feet, lunging at the pirate.
A flash of steel and a head rolled to the ground, blood spurting from the neck as Kurt’s body fell lifeless.
“Kurt!”
Tears streaming, Aphelandra struggled, but against the pirate’s brutality, she was helpless.
Her screams echoed, filled with hatred, as she endured the assault.
Aphelandra wasn’t the only one suffering; the entire village’s women faced similar fates, and not even death spared them.
The men fought back, but against seasoned pirates, it was a futile effort.
The pirates were like demons, the village shrouded in terror and blood.
Fires raged, and cries filled the air.
It was a scene of hell.
A pink ring of light appeared, stopping the hideous pirate from assaulting Aphelandra.
Rushing out, Foxy swung his machete, slashing the pirate’s neck. Blood oozed slowly from the wound.
Kicking the pirate aside, Foxy quickly pulled the tattered Aphelandra into a ruined house, watching through a window crack.
As time resumed, the pirate fell dead, unnoticed in the chaos.
Hidden inside, Foxy saw the horror in the courtyard. Kurt lay decapitated, his head staring lifelessly at Foxy.
Foxy couldn’t help but retch, his hands trembling.
He was terrified.
Killing animals was one thing, but this was a living human.
As someone from a peaceful era, Foxy wasn’t prepared for such bloodshed, despite living in this world for over forty days.
He thought he had adapted, but the reality was harsh.
He still needed time.
