One Piece Admiral Silver Fox - Chapter 60
The pirate in front of Foxy was experienced. The moment Foxy used his ability, the pirate dodged. Despite the improved speed of his slow-down aura, a seasoned pirate could easily evade it. Foxy’s face tensed as he gripped his longsword, feeling a sense of dread.
The pirate, Krens, was equally cautious. His eyes showed that he no longer viewed Foxy as a mere child. The speed Foxy displayed was not something an ordinary kid could manage.
With a loud crash, Krens vanished and reappeared before Foxy, his massive hammer crashing like a boulder. Foxy disappeared just in time, reappearing behind Krens, his pistol aimed at Krens’ head. However, Krens ducked swiftly, dodging the bullet.
The shot only left a hole in the ship’s railing. Krens supported himself with one hand and kicked at Foxy with tremendous force. Foxy blocked with his sword but was sent flying, crashing into the ship’s cabin. He lay on the ground, blood trickling from his mouth.
Standing up, Foxy, with a fierce look, held his pistol in one hand and his longsword in the other. Krens, striding towards him, swung his hammer mercilessly. Foxy dodged and fired his gun, but Krens blocked it with his hammer.
Instead of retreating, Foxy pressed forward, firing with his left hand and stabbing with his right. Krens’ massive hammer swung powerfully, countering Foxy’s attacks. Using Soru to its fullest, Foxy became a shadow enveloping Krens, his sword constantly striking. But Krens proved more challenging than Foxy anticipated.
After firing several rounds, the pistol broke. Foxy discarded it, forming his fingers into the familiar orchid shape, firing the slow-down aura at close range. Krens, sensing danger, dodged, creating an opening.
Seizing the opportunity, Foxy appeared at Krens’ side, his sword aimed at Krens’ groin. The lethal threat sent chills down Krens’ spine. He twisted his body, narrowly avoiding a more grievous wound, but his leg was slashed, blood gushing out.
Grimacing in pain, Krens fell, clutching his bleeding leg. He desperately tried to block Foxy’s attacks. Foxy dropped his sword and reappeared behind Krens, kicking him in the waist. Krens flew like a cannonball, crashing through the ship’s mast and landing in the debris, his face contorted with pain.
Foxy quickly followed, aiming a forceful kick at Krens’ groin again. Krens, despite the pain, rolled away just in time. But now, Foxy’s ability was ready to be used again.
The pink aura hit Krens, slowing him down. Foxy didn’t relax but grabbed a longsword from the ground and slashed at Krens’ neck, then stabbed his heart for good measure. Krens’ eyes bulged with fear and resentment. He tried to resist, but his movements were agonizingly slow.
He could feel the pain increasing, the blood from his neck and chest slowly leaking. Death wasn’t as terrifying as the anticipation of it. When the slow-down effect wore off, Krens instinctively clutched his neck, but blood spurted out like a fountain, and his eyes widened with shock and agony.
Foxy, his face cold, pulled out the sword and moved to fight other pirates, saving as many marines as he could. Despite the bloodshed, Foxy hadn’t abandoned his façade of righteousness. He knew he was still too weak.
Using his nascent Observation, Haki bullets whizzed past, but Foxy evaded them. Without it, his danger level would have been much higher.
The deck was a chaotic battlefield strewn with bodies and organs. Blood and gore were everywhere, creating a hellish scene.
Foxy appeared beside a lieutenant, blocking a fatal blow from a pirate and swiftly killing the attacker. Compared to Krens, these pirates were much weaker. Soru gave Foxy a significant advantage despite his incomplete mastery.
Many powerful pirates remained in the Ferocious Spider Pirates crew, holding off a lieutenant commander and two majors. The lieutenant commander, also skilled in Soru, was fighting the third strongest pirate in the crew. With Foxy now accessible to assist, the battle turned in favor of the Marines.
The pink aura hit a pirate locked in a duel with a major. The pirate’s head slowly detached from his body as blood oozed from the wound. With a cold gaze, Foxy slashed the pirate’s neck and disappeared.
“Is this the level of students from the academy?” the major panted, watching as the pirate’s head finally fell off, blood spurting from the neck.
Though Foxy was only a corporal, no one on the ship dared to underestimate him. Even those who looked down on him had to show respect.
“Devil Fruit user,” the major sighed. Foxy had a Devil Fruit, came from the academy, and had strong connections. His future was much brighter than the major’s. The major couldn’t help but feel envious.
Foxy roamed the warship, killing pirates and saving marines. Many who had previously looked down on him changed their opinions. With the last scream, Foxy and the lieutenant commander defeated their opponent, clearing the warship of pirates.
However, the enemy ship still had many pirates and marines, and Gotadi’s battle with the pirate captain had reached a critical point.
Foxy’s sword dripped with blood, and he looked at the enemy ship before vanishing.
“Treat the wounded and those who can still fight, charge!” The lieutenant commander, blood on his lips, panted as he gave the order, then vanished using Soru.
