“Bang! Bang!”

On the warship’s deck, two figures flashed back and forth, each punch and kick filled with violent beauty. As the two powerhouses clashed, Foxy flipped through the air and landed, his expression growing increasingly serious. Opposite him, the Kung Fu Dugong fell into the sea, only to jump back onto the deck moments later. The little creature’s hands were now faintly covered in a dark hue.

It was Armament Haki.

“Moo, moo!” The Kung Fu Dugong, excited, moved at incredible speed, aiming a punch at Foxy’s forehead. Foxy, using Observation Haki, easily dodged and countered with a powerful kick to the creature’s stomach. The dark hue covered its belly, but the force sent the Kung Fu Dugong flying into the ship’s cabin, causing a mess.

With a swift move, Foxy appeared in front of the Kung Fu Dugong, stomping down hard. The creature blocked with its hands and countered with a tail swipe, causing Foxy to stagger back a few steps.

The Kung Fu Dugong leapt up, its fists turning into blurs as it attacked. Foxy, using Observation Haki, effortlessly sidestepped each attack.

“Finger Gun!” Foxy’s finger tensed, ready to test his newly learned move. The metallic sound rang out, and Foxy winced in pain.

While Foxy and the Kung Fu Dugong fought intensely, Captain Gott Di stood at the office door, his expression conflicted. He remembered his defeat by a Kung Fu Dugong years ago. Though it wasn’t this one, the memory still stung.

As time passed, the fight began to tilt in Foxy’s favour. Both he and the Kung Fu Dugong were panting heavily. Despite the creature’s Armament Haki, Foxy had Observation Haki, allowing him to narrowly dodge its attacks. Foxy hadn’t even used his Devil Fruit abilities, relying solely on physical combat.

“Bang!” Foxy evaded the creature’s attack and elbowed it hard in the chest. Despite the Armament Haki, the impact caused the Dugong to cry out in pain and fall into the sea again. This time, it climbed back onto the deck, but instead of attacking, it knelt, tail bent, and bowed to Foxy.

“Moo, moo…”

Breathing heavily, Foxy understood its gesture. “You want to become my disciple?”

“Moo, moo!” The Kung Fu Dugong nodded seriously, its expression solemn.

Scratching his chin, Foxy first looked at the Dugong, then at the other four. He had an idea. It seemed there were many Kung Fu Dugongs, some even stronger with Armament Haki. Recruiting them as subordinates was a win-win situation, potentially useful in the future.

“Alright, from now on, you’re my first disciple, Foxy Kung Fu Kid.” Foxy patted the Dugong’s head.

“Moo, moo!” The Kung Fu Dugong, now named Kung Fu Kid, was delighted and nudged Foxy’s leg.

That night, Foxy called Kung Fu Kid into his room, teaching it about Observation Haki, Shave, Finger Gun, Moonwalk, and some physical training methods. He also tasked Kung Fu Kid with becoming the leader of all Kung Fu Dugongs.

The next morning, Kung Fu Kid left with its followers, while Foxy continued his relentless training.

However, an unexpected event occurred that afternoon.

“Pirate ship spotted!” Just as they were nearing Alabasta, a lookout sounded the alarm.

“Prepare for battle!” The entire warship’s crew sprang into action, even Foxy halted his training.

Standing at the railing, Foxy watched the approaching pirate ship. It didn’t slow down despite the warship, heading straight for them. It was clear the pirate crew had resupplied in Alabasta and was now leaving, encountering Foxy’s warship.

“Which pirate crew is it?” Gott Di asked his giant gear-shaped sword on his shoulder.

“It’s… it’s the Waldo Pirates, led by Bondi Waldo, the World Breaker, with a bounty of 380 million berries,” the lookout reported, sweating profusely after double-checking the pirate flag.

“What?!” Gott Di’s face turned pale. Foxy felt a surge of dread.

“Change course and leave,” Gott Di ordered, his face grim. A bounty close to 400 million was equivalent to 800-900 million berries in twenty years. The World Breaker was infamous across the seas.

Gott Di’s fear was justified; confronting such a powerful foe was suicide. Even a Vice Admiral from headquarters might not stand a chance.

“Captain, it’s too late.” The marines, swallowing nervously, watched the massive pirate ship approach, casting a shadow over them.

Feeling the overwhelming presence, Foxy tensed, sweat forming on his forehead. He remembered the World Breaker, Bondi Waldo, who had sought revenge during the two-year post-war period by attempting to bombard Marineford. The navy had to summon the Seven Warlords to deal with him.

Waldo had even sought out Boa Hancock, a Warlord, intending to strike first. He ended up on the island where Luffy was training, and they fought, but Waldo was defeated by the protagonist’s plot armour.

The fact that Waldo dared to challenge a Warlord and planned to bombard Marineford showed his terrifying strength. He was a true big-shot, a genuine threat, and a Devil Fruit user with the More-More Fruit, which could amplify his speed, size, and strength by a hundred times. This fruit was formidable, turning a simple cannonball into a devastating missile. Moreover, Waldo was proficient in both types of Haki.
