Chapter 263: Ivancov Passes Out
The moment Ivankov was knocked into the air, Solo instantly disappeared and reappeared beside him before Ace and Shanks could react.
Solo clenched his fist, compressing the air around him and forming a translucent white dome. He aimed at Ivankov below him and delivered a powerful punch. Despite sensing the danger, Ivankov had no time to evade.
Ivankov tried to defend himself by wrapping his body in Haki for added protection, but the dome shattered with a resounding crack.
The resulting impact was terrifying, crushing toward Ivankov. The square beneath him split apart, creating a deep pit as Solo’s punch left a gaping hole.
Ivankov, firmly embedded in the pit, had blood streaming from his face. He was unconscious and motionless, taken out by a single punch. Shanks widened his eyes in shock upon witnessing this scene.
Ivankov, known as “Queen,” possessed great strength as a member of the Revolutionary Army, but he had succumbed to Solo’s attack.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Shanks felt a lump in his throat and swallowed nervously. He spoke in a low voice to Ace, “Ace.”
Shanks knew he couldn’t match Solo’s power, and he didn’t want to see Ace risk his life in a futile battle. However, Ace shook his head, refusing to back down. As the son of Roger, the Pirate King, Ace couldn’t simply let himself be defeated.
Ace declared that the Marines wouldn’t let him escape, so he might as well take the initiative and fight back. Shanks understood the truth in Ace’s words and took a deep breath.
He locked Solo firmly in his sight, prepared to give it his all. Solo stood beside Ivankov, stepping on him, and then turned his head to face Ace.
Solo raised his left hand, tightly gripping Kogarashi with his right hand. He invoked the power of the Reincarnation Eye, and Ace was drawn towards him, unable to resist the suction.
Ace recalled his battle with Blackbeard, who possessed Dark Dark Fruit and used a similar move. Ace forced himself to remain calm, igniting flames in his palms and shaping them into a spear.
With his hands wrapped in Armament Haki, Ace launched a powerful attack, throwing two muskets with increased speed thanks to Solo’s Vientiane Skylight. The attack was close-range and virtually impossible to dodge. Ace held his breath, staring directly at Solo.
However, to his dismay, Solo casually waved Sakuragi and released two sword energy slashes, scattering Ace’s muskets and sending one slash directly toward him.
A sense of impending doom washed over Ace, but just as the sword energy was about to strike, Shanks swiftly moved in front of him.
With a one-handed sword swing, Shanks parried Solo’s fierce attack, resulting in a powerful collision. The impact created a deafening sound and unleashed an invisible shockwave that spread in all directions.
Utilizing the shockwave, Shanks quickly retreated with Ace, successfully dispelling Solo’s attack.
Shanks realized that Solo’s abilities extended beyond just shaking fruits; his techniques seemed capable of generating gravitational and repulsive forces. Solo’s prowess posed a considerable challenge for Shanks, and he acknowledged that his initial assumptions were completely overturned.
The mere fact that he felt fear and hesitation in front of a colonel from the Marine Headquarters was unimaginable.
Overwhelmed by the strength displayed by Solo, Shanks couldn’t help but question his own abilities. He had never experienced such a feeling, not even when he fought against Whitebeard.
Shanks came to the realization that the marine officer before him was not only stronger than him but potentially even stronger than Captain Roger himself.
