One Piece: Almost Exposed That I Am Stronger Than Roger - Chapter 275
Chapter 275: Crushed Them
Sanji lit another cigarette, took a deep breath, and exhaled a smoke ring slowly. He knew that there was little chance of achieving their dreams in this situation. However, he didn’t regret his decision.
As long as Luffy could escape Marineford safely, his sacrifice would be worth it.
But just as Sanji was about to rush forward and confront Solo, a sudden impact struck him from behind, hitting his neck. Before he could even make a sound, Sanji passed out on the spot.
Zoro, in the critical moment, caught Sanji and threw him to Franky. “Take him away with you,” Zoro said in a low voice. In truth, Sanji had lost consciousness because Zoro had secretly attacked him with a samurai sword.
Franky and Zoro exchanged a glance, sensing Zoro’s determination. “Take care,” Franky said slowly as he received Sanji from Zoro’s hands. Without looking back, he left the scene, fully aware of Zoro’s resolve.
Franky understood how determined Zoro was in this matter. There was no need for words at this moment. Supporting Zoro was the only thing he could do.
Though Nami, Chopper, Usopp, and the others were reluctant to give up, they had no choice in this situation. Tears filled their eyes as they took Luffy away, praying for Zoro’s safety.
Zoro glanced at Sanji meaningfully and took a deep breath. With the word, “Go,” in his mouth, he kicked off with both feet, rushing straight towards Solo. He couldn’t let this Marine monster get any closer to Captain Luffy.
“Zoro,” Solo said, slightly surprised, noticing Zoro approaching.
Solo had fought against Zoro before when the Straw Hats had just arrived at Marineford. Considering their previous encounter, Solo didn’t kill Zoro. However, he didn’t expect Zoro to rush towards him despite knowing the vast difference in their strength.
Although Zoro was a pirate, Solo admired his courage and willingness to give up his dream and life for Luffy. In an instant, three sword lights slashed at Solo from different angles.
But to Zoro’s disbelief, his slashes had no effect on Solo. Instead, his samurai sword broke, leaving only half of it in Zoro’s hand.
The strength gap between them was immense, beyond comprehension. Zoro shook his head, realizing that it wasn’t just a matter of entwined or unwound Haki. The difference between him and Solo was staggering. Even if he went all out, he couldn’t harm Solo.
“You seem surprised,” Solo said softly, observing Zoro’s expression.
He swiftly moved and grabbed Zoro’s neck. Zoro found it strange that Solo’s speed wasn’t fast, and he could clearly see Solo’s movements. Yet, he couldn’t move his own body. It was as if time had frozen, leaving him helpless.
With a slap, Solo’s five fingers tightened around Zoro’s neck, squeezing hard. Zoro’s neck twisted and shrank rapidly, cutting off the blood supply to his brain. Zoro felt excruciating suffocation as his forehead veins bulged.
Then, Solo exerted force on his wrist, slamming Zoro to the ground. The impact made Zoro feel like his bones and organs were shattered, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.
Zoro, defeated by Solo in a matter of moments, couldn’t even last ten seconds against him. He couldn’t delay Solo’s advance. Solo didn’t spare a second glance as he stepped forward, moving towards Luffy.
He released his overwhelming Haki, crushing Nami and the others who stood in his way. He had no intention of playing any more games. His dominance was absolute.
The members of the Whitebeard Pirates along the way were affected by Solo’s immense power, falling to the ground.
Nami, Chopper, and the rest witnessing the brutality of the war firsthand had their willpower shattered. Zoro’s instant defeat at the hands of Solo pushed them to the brink of despair. Overwhelmed by Solo’s dominating presence, they lost consciousness, their heads hitting the ground.
Luffy, now unconscious, fell from Chopper’s back and landed on the ground. Unprecedented despair filled the hearts of the remaining pirates.
Solo, the marines’ monster, was overwhelmingly strong and unreasonable. Even Doflamingo, a Shichibukai, was sweating nervously, realizing that making a move against Solo would lead to nothing but a tragic death.
