Dias roared as countless Demons around Rokujin exploded in a chain reaction.

“Boom! Boom! Boom…” The massive explosions echoed continuously. The shockwaves from the blasts spread in all directions, further destroying the ship’s remnants. The air currents lifted countless wood splinters and then fell back down. The area where Rokujin stood was blown clear, creating a space spanning several hundred meters.

“Ha ha ha! A mere boy dares to come along and kill me? He’s courting death!” Dias laughed loudly. The intense explosions would have killed even a Marine Captain, let alone a young Marine Lieutenant.

However, watching the aftermath, Dias suddenly felt something was off. Why would the Marines come after him? Could someone have leaked his route to the Marines? There must be a traitor!

But the next moment, Dias was stunned, his jaw practically hitting the ground. “You… you’re not dead!”

“I didn’t expect your Devil Fruit ability to be quite interesting,” Rokujin said, wiping the blood from his mouth. He might have been in real trouble if he hadn’t used Armament Haki to block some of the damage. It was a close call!

Dias had been pretending to be a coward but held back a lot! “Hmph, if you’re not dead now, you will be soon.” Dias gritted his teeth, a sinister look on his face. He released more black mist-like substances, larger than before. The black substance expanded, growing over twenty meters tall, resembling a giant.

Dias’s body merged into the black substance, which seemed like a non-Newtonian fluid. Suddenly, the eyes of the black giant flashed, and it raised a sword to strike down.

“Rokushiki: Soru!” But the attack was slow. Rokujin easily dodged the strike, standing at a distance to observe the black giant. The strike’s power was immense, splitting the sea in two and creating huge waves. However, the black giant’s speed seemed significantly slower. With Dias inside controlling it, it had some awareness. But how strong was it?

“Don’t dodge, boy!” Dias’s voice boomed from the giant’s mouth. Rokujin smiled and said, “Since you’re asking, I guess I should show some real power!” He initially considered using his Thunder Fruit ability but remembered many others were still around. The electric arcs already forming in his right hand were retracted.

Holding Maple Leaf and Black Blade, Rokujin gathered Haki onto the blades, emitting red electric arcs with a crackling sound. Radiating a powerful sword intent, Rokujin crossed his swords and slashed at the giant controlled by Dias.

“Two-Sword Style: Oni Giri!”

Simultaneously, Rokujin swung both swords, unleashing two terrifying red sword energies that formed an “X” shape. The fierce sword energy, trailing red auras, formed a red demon with wings and horns, reaching out its sharp claws toward Dias.

“Boy, you’re courting death!” Dias roared, swinging the giant black sword at the red demon. But the black giant sword was sliced like butter by the Oni Giri!

“What?” Dias’s face twisted in shock. He tried to dodge, but it was too late! The sword energy cut through the giant’s chest, splitting it into four neat sections that slid down slowly.

“Ah!” Dias’s scream echoed from within the giant. A black figure tried to escape from the wreckage.

“Trying to run? No way!” Rokujin’s eyes narrowed, tracking Dias’s movements. He sprinted across the water, reaching Dias in moments, and slashed with his sword. The sword light flashed across Dias’s neck, severing his head cleanly. Blood splattered!

The system notification sounded.
?Ding, congratulations to the host for completing the task. System reward: +5 Energy Points!?

Rokujin had formed a habit of beheading his enemies. After all, bad guys often talk too much, and he didn’t want to waste time. Killing Dias, Rokujin took his head and returned to Marine Headquarters.

Rokujin entered the training camp base at Marine Headquarters with Dias’s head, drawing everyone’s attention.

“That’s Dias’s head! The pirate with a 60 million Berries bounty!”
“To think Rokujin could kill him! This means he’s graduating from Admiral Zephyr’s elite training camp, right?”
“His rank is going to be promoted again!”
“…”

The Marines chattered, their eyes filled with envy. In this training camp, Rokujin was like the sun at noon, outshining all others. His talent and strength were extraordinary!

Rokujin walked into Zephyr’s office and handed over Dias’s head. “Teacher, can I graduate now?”

“Hmm?” Zephyr glanced at the head without much surprise. “You could have graduated a while ago. Considering your merits, you should be promoted to Lieutenant this time.”

“Thank you, Teacher!” Rokujin said with a smile.

“No need to thank me. I haven’t helped you that much. I’ll be taking the others out for field training in a few days,” Zephyr said.

Hearing this, Rokujin’s mind flashed back to the incident with the attacked internship ship. He frowned and asked, “Teacher, can I come along this time?”

“You can, but if we encounter pirates, try not to intervene too much. Let them get some experience,” Zephyr replied.

“Understood, Teacher!” Rokujin said before leaving the office. As he walked, he pondered deeply. They would be heading out in a few days, and it was likely they would soon face an attack by Edward Weevil, the self-proclaimed Whitebeard Jr. Considering Weevil could sever Zephyr’s arm, his strength was certainly formidable. Rokujin wondered if his current abilities were enough to contend with Edward Weevil.

Moreover, with Zephyr’s immense strength, how did Weevil manage to cut off his arm? Was it due to his age? That seemed unlikely. According to the storyline in the movie, it was said Zephyr was ambushed by a Devil Fruit user, which is why he equipped a weapon specifically for fighting Devil Fruit users. Could Weevil be a Devil Fruit user? Or was there another ability user involved? Whatever the case, everything would become clear when the time came.

After leaving Marine Headquarters, Rokujin headed to the Sabaody Archipelago and visited Shakky’s Rip-off Bar for a drink.
