Following Aqua’s shocked gaze, Luffy’s right shoulder and arm stretched and fell onto the restaurant floor.
With a bewildered expression, Luffy made the scene truly terrifying.
Icey was only slightly surprised and quickly regained his composure.
Before awakening, the Sun God Nika’s Devil Fruit was just an ordinary rubber fruit. It was natural for Luffy, who had just gained this ability, to experience discomfort.
“Oh, I forgot to tell you, I just ate the Devil Fruit belonging to Shanks and the others, becoming a rubber man with rubber properties.”
After the shock in the tavern, Luffy had now accepted this incredibly strange fact.
With a slight brow furrow, he made several attempts before retracting his arm back to its original position with a snap, returning to normal.
“Devil Fruit? Is there really something that, when eaten, grants terrifying powers?!”
After hearing Luffy’s explanation, Aqua’s horrified expression deepened rather than diminished.
In the past few days, Icey had educated her on the basic knowledge of the pirate world, knowing that abilities like magma and ice manipulation were all Devil Fruit powers.
Due to the Red Hair Pirates’ recent “pitiful” performance, she thought Devil Fruit’s abilities were exaggerated, but now she realized it was true!

Without giving Luffy time to react, Aqua reached out her hand and gently grabbed the air.

Knowing what she wanted to do next, Icey didn’t intervene but watched from the side.
He also wanted to see if Aqua’s water could have the same effect on Devil Fruit users as seawater.

As Aqua activated her power, the pink bud at the end of the wand slowly opened.

Seeing Luffy still angrily spluttering while being held in mid-air by Icey, Aqua’s eyes lit up with an idea.
“Hey Luffy, to express my apology, from now on, your meals here are free.”
“Really?”
“Mhmm! And drinks too, help yourself.”
“Awesome! Aqua, you’re really a good person!”
Hearing that he could eat at the restaurant for free, Luffy’s anger dissipated, and his mouth curved into his trademark bright smile.
“…I’m still here.”
Listening to the conversation between the two, Icey had black lines all over his face.
Nevertheless, he didn’t bother to argue with Aqua and Luffy, showing considerable tolerance.
Because arguing was useless; they were already freeloaders in the restaurant!

Setting aside the nebulous Conqueror’s Haki for now, mastering the basic forms of Armament and Observation Haki as soon as possible would be ideal!
And so, amidst Aqua and Luffy’s commotion, Icey finalized his action plan for the future.
