“Hey! Bartolomeo, Quin, you two, show some respect to me! Or else!” Suddenly, the man with blue hair transformed. His blue hair grew rapidly, and his ears became a long leopard. His sharp claws turned into beastly claws, ten sharp and elongated claws pointed at Bartolomeo’s chin.

“Be careful; I might just kill you right now!” The entire banquet hall tensed up as the man with blue hair made his move. Bartolomeo picked up his wine bowl, glanced disdainfully at the blue-haired man, and then drank all the wine in one gulp.

Feeling ignored, the man with blue hair suddenly felt humiliated. “Hey, you bastard! Do you look down on me? Ah, I’ll kill you!”

The man with blue hair rapidly transformed. His blue hair grew longer, and his ears changed into two long leopard ears. His sharp claws became beastly, ten sharp and elongated claws aimed directly at Bartolomeo.

“Hmph!” Bartolomeo’s eyes flashed with contempt. He sneered, and a burst of Conqueror’s Haki erupted instantly. His fist reached the man with blue hair’s face even faster, striking him squarely.

“Splurt!” The powerful punch sent him flying, crashing into the wall. Easily defeating the man with blue hair, Bartolomeo shook his hand.

“Wow, that’s pretty tough; a punch from me still makes my fist hurt a bit.”

“Hmph! Bartolomeo, this isn’t a place for you to cause trouble,” Kaido warned with a displeased expression, even though he had ignored Bartolomeo’s provocation and had not discussed the Artificial Zoan Devil Fruits trade.

Although Kaido knew Bartolomeo was strong and not inferior to himself, he did not expect his subordinate, Glimjo, whom he had wanted to develop into the third top executive, to be knocked unconscious with a single punch.

This made him reconsider Bartolomeo’s strength. “Huh? Is that so? What’s wrong? Do you want to help that idiot vent his anger? I’ve been looking forward to having a match with you, Kaido!” Bartolomeo provocatively looked at Kaido, eager to test his strength against him.

However, Kaido had never given Bartolomeo the opportunity. During their time on Onigashima, Kaido held a daily banquet to entertain Bartolomeo and Quin.

“Hmph! Bartolomeo, don’t provoke me! I’m not interested in an unwinnable fight with you right now,” Kaido said, although, in his heart, he had already planned to have a serious showdown with Bartolomeo soon.

“Hmph! When my abilities awaken, just watch. I’ll take you down!” Kaido silently declared in his heart.

“Hahaha! Kaido, it seems like you’ve become much more timid than a few years ago. You’ve completely lost that aura of recklessness where you’d fight anyone you didn’t like,” Bartolomeo teased, poking fun at Kaido’s change in demeanour.

Ignoring Bartolomeo’s taunts, Kaido downed the wine in his cup. “Enough of this, I don’t want to waste any more time with you guys. Let’s talk about the trade for the Artificial Zoan Devil Fruits.”

“What do you want for the trade? Tell us your conditions!” Bartolomeo and Quin exchanged glances.

“Hehehe, Kaido, regarding the trade for the artificial Zoan Devil Fruits, Captain Locke has provided two options.”
