One Piece Seat Void - Chapter 222
“New World, Grilan Island.
“Hey, Lade, we finally met you. It’s not easy to see you.” Locke sat on top of a pink dragon, looking down at Lade Field with a calm expression.
At this moment, Lade looked grim and unpleasant. Although he knew that today would be challenging, he didn’t expect it to be this tough.
With his confidence, dealing with a few officers would be no problem because mere numbers couldn’t bridge the gap between a Golden Champion and a Silver Champion.
But now, facing Loke, an equally powerful Golden Champion, along with the top fighters in the sea, he didn’t believe he could win this battle.
However, even if he didn’t believe he would easily win, his pride wouldn’t allow him to admit defeat.
“Oh, Locke, this is our first meeting, isn’t it?” Lade elegantly looked at Loke, his muscles tensed, ready to counter any attack.
“Hey! Loke, why waste time talking to him? Let’s just get rid of him!” Zazuki licked his lips, a fierce and excited look in his eyes.
“Haha, Zazuki, no need to rush. Lade is right there; he won’t escape today.” Babosa grinned as he held his long sword.
After not having fought for a while, anyone would be impatient. “Hehe, little devils, can’t wait to die?” Lade looked around at the several officers of the Lokes Pirates surrounding him. Then he gazed intensely, and his furious Haki broke out, sweeping across the entire Grilan Island.
The whole island vibrated intensely under the furious red Haki released by Lade. The intense flames burned out under the impact of the Haki.
The injured, wailing residents lost consciousness, their eyes rolling white as they fainted.
Under this surge of Haki, Grilan Island fell into silence.
“Haha, truly terrifying, Conqueror’s Haki,” the airborne Lafitte commented with a lingering shock from Lade’s Haki. As the weakest fighter in the scene, the overwhelming Conqueror’s Haki was indeed too powerful.
“Tsk, don’t try to scare us with that! Your conqueror’s haki is nothing compared to Lokes’!” Zazuki said scornfully, his sharp teeth gleaming with an icy glint.
Lade looked at the few who were unaffected by his haki with no surprise. His goal was not to intimidate them. From start to finish, his purpose was to challenge Lokes, sitting calmly on top of the dragon in the sky.
“Hey, Lokes kid, what’s the matter? After all this time, don’t you want to fight me?” Red Baron Lade looked up at Loke with a light smile. In the sky, Loke heard this and slowly stood up.
“An!”
“Yes, Lokes!” Upon hearing Loke’s call, the little bat perched on Lokes’ shoulder instantly flew up and transformed into a sharp sword shimmering with an icy cold light. Loke took the sword, and his gaze sparkled as he looked down at Lade.
“Since you want to challenge me, as you wish.” Saying that Lokes slowly raised the long sword in his hand. A purple light gathered on the blade.
The black-red lightning kept flickering around Loke. His own Conqueror’s Haki, which seemed like the ambition to conquer the world, burst out, sweeping toward Lade below.
Feeling Locke’s overwhelming aura, Lade was slightly surprised, and a smile formed on his lips. “Nice momentum, kid. It seems it’s not unreasonable that Skye lost to you.”
Lade slowly raised his umbrella sword, and his furious Conqueror’s Haki burst out. Deep red sword energy gathered on the umbrella sword.
Similarly, black-red lightning surged. Under the surge of power from both of them, the entire island began to vibrate violently.
The sky’s clouds rolled intensely, and the waves in the sea rose and fell, forming large waves.
The people taking refuge on pirate ships were horrified by the changes in the sky and sea. Even though the shocking aura was at a considerable distance, it still disturbed their senses.
“What, what’s happening! The sky and sea are trembling! What’s going on? I don’t want to die at sea!”
“Curses! After escaping from Grilan Island, are we going to die in the sea?” One of the pirate ships had a blind man who “looked” up at the sky.
“It’s truly a powerful aura. Is this the aura of those top monsters on the high seas?”
“It’s as fierce as a wild beast.” The man said as he drew his sword quickly. Blue ripples rapidly spread, covering the entire sea.
The originally tumultuous sea instantly calmed down. After doing all this, the man slowly sheathed his sword.
The people on the ship watched him in terror. Just with a seemingly ordinary sword swing, the turbulent sea became calm or even still. They were completely unfamiliar with this terrifying power.
Feeling the gaze of everyone, the blind man calmly glanced around and rolled his eyes.
“I’m just an ordinary traveler; there’s no need to be frightened.” After speaking, the man calmly walked to a corner of the ship. Everyone quickly dispersed to let him pass. One of the pirates secretly took a photo of the man and quickly put it away.
“This guy is definitely not an ordinary person.” The pirates thought to themselves. At this moment, the people on Grilan Island had no idea what was happening in the sea dozens of miles away.
At this moment, the auras of both men had reached their peak. They swung their swords at each other. With their sword swings, the already intense Conqueror’s Haki found an outlet, gathering and unleashing all their unrivaled power.
The purple and deep red sword energies carried an unbeatable force, crashing fiercely in mid-air.
“Boom!” The collision of the two forces caused Grilan Island to shake violently. Huge rifts appeared on the ground.
The Lokes Pirates’ officers around Lade were forced to retreat and disperse under this forceful impact.
The rolling clouds in the sky also split into two pieces and then fiercely interlaced and collided.
The previously calm sea also roiled up once again. Huge waves surged, and giant whirlpools appeared in the ocean, devouring everything.
A raging wind howled as if a giant dragon were roaring. This scene, like the end of the world, deeply shook everyone’s hearts.
