One Piece Seat Void - Chapter 247
New World, Hyakka Island, and Gleyrems
Lark and Visa were sitting together, discussing some intelligence they were reading. Since the opening of the Great Pirate Era, countless individuals have become pirates, flocking to the seas.
Many ventured into the Grand Line, the New World, challenging the pirate factions that held sway in this new world. Unquestionably, the Locke Pirates had also faced numerous attacks from those who sought to make a name for themselves at the expense of the Locke’s Pirates.
Initially, they should have paid more attention, which resulted in significant losses for the Rockse Pirates. Pirates attacked dozens of their merchant ships, and many islands were subjected to pirate raids.
After tens of thousands of lives were lost in the pirate frenzy, the locke Pirates finally began to take these pirates seriously, deploying their officers to eliminate the intruders. The Locke Pirates wiped out all incoming pirates in less than two months.
To ensure the safety of the islands in the Atavol Sea Area, the Locke Pirates dispersed all their officers to different islands. One of the Three Great Powers, Barrett, personally guarded Punk Hazard.
The Six Pillars, Moria, Enel, Barbosa, Irida, Zabuzu, and Kies, were stationed on six islands surrounding Hyakka Island Gleyrems, serving as guards for the headquarters.
The Seven Guardians of the Realm, the Demon Sheriff Lafitte, the Soul King Brook, the Bear Mink Volibear, Shilu of the Rain, the Dinosaur King Bruce, Yeru the Penetrator, and the Ferret’s Welbeck all led their respective crews on continuous patrols in the Atavol Sea Area, chasing down any remaining stragglers.
The entire Atavol Sea Area was now highly fortified. Any suspicious pirates would be crushed on the edges of the Atavol Sea Area. However, today, Lark and Visa were not gathered to discuss certain pirate matters but rather a particular ideology that had suddenly become a topic of conversation among the entire population of the Atavol Sea Area.
After several investigations, Lark discovered a revolutionary force, the “Revolutionary Army, spreading this dangerous ideology within their territory.”
“Visa, these guys are spreading such a dangerous ideology in our territory. This is not a good sign. We need to find these guys as soon as possible and deal with them,” Lark said with a dark expression.
He had perceived a significant threat from the recent discussions among the population. If exploited by someone with ulterior motives, this threat could lead to a massive rebellion.
Visa had an equally grim expression. She felt anger towards these newcomers who had suddenly emerged. While the Atavol Sea Area under the rule of the Locke Federation and the Locke Pirates was generally prosperous and peaceful, this ideology could still incite unrest among the ignorant and those dissatisfied with current affairs.
“Send Sting to find these intruders and eliminate them,” Visa said coldly.
“Alright, I’ll contact him now,” Lark responded. Sting, an elite of the Rockse Pirates’ intelligence department, possessed powerful investigative abilities. He also had the Devil Fruit power to quickly discern the thoughts of anyone, making him a valuable asset to Barbosa.
Upon receiving the orders, Sting immediately began a nationwide investigation. However, the Atavol Sea Area was vast, and the results might take some time. The uprising caused by the Revolutionary Army was not limited to the Locke Federation. It had ignited in almost every country across the New World.
The ideology of the Revolutionary Army was spreading rapidly and had sparked rebellions in countless nations. Numerous kingdoms were overthrown, and new nations emerged.
The World Government found itself passive regarding this emerging dangerous ideology. If not controlled and eradicated, it could shake the foundation of the World Government’s rule.
To address this, the World Government dispatched all available intelligence personnel from the Cipher Pol (CP) departments to locate the source of this ideology. Eventually, one name came to their attention: Monkey D. Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, a Vice-Admiral of the Marines, and the son of Iron Fist Kapu.
Dragon had been highly regarded by the Marines and was expected to become the most assertive admiral in their history, perhaps even a future Fleet Admiral. However, he had disappeared from the Marines, only to reappear as a thorn in the side of the World Government.
“Kapu! You are a scoundrel! Look at what your son has done!” Waru, the Chief of Staff, shouted angrily at Kapu. He was so furious that he had spit all over Kapu’s face.
Kapu wiped the spit off his face with a handkerchief, showing impatience. “Waru, that brat is doing whatever he pleases, and I can’t control him. He’s not some ignorant child. Don’t take your anger out on me.”
Fed up with Waru, Kapu walked away from his office without waiting for a response.
Waru watched Kapu leave, muttering, “This old coot always shirks trouble on me.” As time passed, almost a week went by.
During the Revolutionary Army’s chaos spreading across the world, Rocks, along with the young girl Perona, finally returned to Hyakka Island, Gleyrems. To Perona’s amazement, they returned to Hyakka Castle. As Rockse appeared at the gate, his son Aris instantly noticed him.
“Haha, Dad, you’re finally back, you scoundrel!” Aris, gripping a wooden sword, rushed towards Locke and lifted his sword, attempting to strike him. “Take this, Dad!”
“Hey, you disrespectful little devil, what do you think you’re doing!” Perona exclaimed.
“Negative Hollow!” Perona, wearing a white children’s swimsuit with brown spots, activated her powers, and an adorable, transparent ghost instantly passed through Aris.
“Ugh, I’m so weak. It makes me want to die.” Aris lay on the ground, shedding tears and looking thoroughly disheartened.
