One Piece Seat Void - Chapter 256
New World, Totto Land Sea.
The battle between the Rocks Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates is closing. After a series of intense naval battles, it concludes with the Big Mom Pirates suffering a complete defeat.
On the battlefield, the Big Mom Pirates, who still have some fight left, are reduced to just their Sweet Commander Smoker and several elder siblings. As their main force, Charlotte Katakuril has been gradually feeling overwhelmed.
In his prolonged battle against Jin, he has been expending massive stamina by continuously using his observation haki and awakening abilities to foresee the future.
Even though he is an Ancient Zoan-type Devil Fruit user and, thanks to his lineage factor, is nearly as resilient as Mythical Zoan users, he struggles to gather enough strength to deliver a decisive blow to Jin.
Jin continues to soar in the air, flapping his wings with a calm expression. His entire body, previously shrouded in black military attire, is now revealed, displaying his brown skin and gray hair. Without the black hood, Jin’s authentic appearance is strikingly handsome.
Katakuri gazes at Jin with an icy glare and begins to speak. “Legend has it that hundreds of years ago, a species living on the Red Soil Continent could survive in any environment. They were known as the Tribe of the Gods and were characterized by their burning flames, brown skin, and gray hair.”
“Even the World Government put a bounty of one billion berries on anyone who provided information about them. Though there were speculations, witnessing it in person is quite astonishing. The last member of the Lunarian Tribe, Jin!”
Jin listens to Katakuri’s account of his origins without expression and tightens his grip on his longsword. “I am indeed the last Lunarian in the world.” He directly acknowledges his heritage. “But even if you know, what can you do? I am now one of the Three Disasters of the Locke Pirates, alongside Rocks, Barret, Visa, Moria, and Irda, among many other powerful crewmates.”
“With such allies by my side, even if the World Government learns of my presence here, what can they do to me?” Jin finishes speaking and transforms into a flaming wyvern, rapidly charging toward Katakuri below.
At this moment, Jin, like a jet fighter, instantly arrives by Katakuri’s side. His wings, ablaze with scorching flames, act like a sharp scythe, viciously slashing at Katakuri’s chest.
Splurch! Jin’s speed is so fast that even though Katakuri can see it, he can’t react in time. A massive wound is carved into Katakuri’s chest, instantly staining it with crimson blood. He spits out a mouthful of blood.
With no delay, Jin, still without any sluggishness, uses his fiery legs to kick Katakuri in the midriff. The powerful impact sends Katakuri spewing more blood and causes him to be thrown backward.
After piercing several ships, Katakuri loses momentum and crashes heavily onto the deck. “Cough, cough!” Lying on the damaged deck, Katakuri coughs violently, his chest heaving. His white scarf, previously wrapped around his chin, is soaked in blood and flutters down, revealing his ferocious, sharp-toothed mouth.
“Katakuri!” The moment Katakuri is knocked back, Charlotte Smoothie can’t help but exclaim. As she has been “chilling” since the beginning of the battle, her gaze has been fixed on Katakuri.
Now that she sees him defeated, her confidence begins to waver. Other Charlotte family executives also react with shock. Katakuri, as their second oldest sibling and the Charlotte family’s ultimate masterpiece, has always been a symbol of invincibility. He was their idol from a young age.
Seeing their idol defeated is shattering their worldview. “Damn it! Don’t you dare hurt our brother Katakuri!” Charlotte Nozet and Moscato roar angrily and fight off their opponents to rush towards Katakuri.
“Hey! Moscato! Where the hell do you think you’re going?” Amande, furious, yells at Moscato, who is trying to help Katakuri. “Leave it to me!” Numerous white clouds float out of Amande’s body and encircle Moscato’s team, trapping them.
“Get lost, you brat! I don’t have time to waste with you right now!” Moscato strikes fiercely with a massive ice cream shockwave, intending to break through Amande’s white cloud enclosure.
“Don’t get too cocky!” Amande growls lowly, clapping his hands together.
“Ice Hell!” With a furious shout, the white cloud cage erupts with endless cold, turning the enclosed area into an icy hell in moments. Moscato, trapped inside, turns into a human ice sculpture, standing frozen in place.
Gasping for breath, Amande watches the frozen Moscato and disperses the white clouds that encased him. “Hmph! I told you not to underestimate me!” Amande proudly raises his head.
“Amande! Get out of my way!” Just as Amande becomes complacent, the voice of Irda is heard from a distance, reaching his ears. But before Amande can understand what is happening, a spiral longsword pierces through Amande’s abdomen.
“Ugh!” A pained grunt escapes Amande’s lips as he struggles to turn his head and sees a towering figure with a cold, ruthless appearance, tall and far beyond normal human proportions.
This individual is wearing a hat, wrapped in a scarf, has white hair reaching the legs, covers one eye, don gloves, features distinctive long-legged tribe tattoos on the legs, and wears knee-high pink boots with patterns. This person is a smoker.
“You bastard! Ugh!” Amande transforms into a swarm of white clouds and swiftly retreats from Smoker, who is not far away. “Wuah!” He spits a large mouthful of blood, clutching the wound on his abdomen. Amande gives Smoker a ferocious and hungry look.
Klack, klack. Visa, the towering figure, slowly approaches Amande, tossing a bag of pink powder onto Amande’s wound. He gazes at Smoker with a chilling, beastly aura.
“Smoker, I thought you had no interest in intervening in this war, so I didn’t bother with you. However, I didn’t expect you to use such heavy-handed tactics against Amande. I can’t ignore it.” Smoker looks at Visa indifferently and casually licks the blood off his spiral longsword.
“While I’m not too keen on fighting, I carry the title of a Sweet Commander. Since I hold such a position, I can’t stand by and watch my family members be taken down without doing anything.” Visa casts a faint, scornful smile at Smoker.
“Sweet Commander, are you prepared to pay the price for harming my comrades?”
Saying this, Visa slowly raises his fierce wolf-fang staff in his hand.
