One Piece Shadow Army - Chapter 30
Casino Restaurant.
One of the gang leaders, a muscular man with bulging veins, began to move.
Bartolomeo recognized him as “The Boxer” Burson, a gang member who had killed thirty-two people in underground fights in Loguetown.
He was undoubtedly one of the top fighters in the gang.
With Burson there, the young man facing them should stand no chance.
But as Bartolomeo looked at Curls, he saw the youth suddenly summon a knight clad in black armor out of thin air.
Bartolomeo was confused, not understanding what this was.
Before he could figure it out, a shocking scene unfolded.
The knight, named [Ralos], attacked swiftly, and with one slash, “The Boxer” Burson was cut in half.
What kind of power is this?
Before anyone could react, [Ralos] swung his sword again, attacking the other gang leaders.
Screams and curses filled the air!
Despite their strength, the gang leaders were no match for the swordmaster-level [Ralos].
This was a massacre with no suspense!
Bartolomeo watched in disbelief as the once formidable gang leaders were slaughtered like weaklings by the black knight.
This was unreal!
Seeing the terrifying swordsmanship of [Ralos], gang boss Gray immediately sensed a lethal danger.
He had to escape!
Without hesitation, Gray pulled out his flintlock and aimed at the white crystal chandelier hanging from the restaurant ceiling.
Bang!
Crash!
The flintlock fired, shattering the chandelier. The sharp sound echoed in everyone’s ears.
Because it was night, the restaurant plunged into darkness once the chandelier shattered.
Gray quickly reloaded his flintlock with special lead bullets, fired into the combat center, and then smashed through the restaurant’s glass window to escape.
Boom!
A massive explosion rocked the restaurant.
The explosion’s source was the special lead bullet Gray had fired, as powerful as a bomb.
However, Gray still had no confidence in killing that black knight.
The knight’s strength was too overwhelming; their gap couldn’t be bridged with firearms.
Outside the restaurant, Gray didn’t stop or look back. He needed to escape quickly.
Only by surviving could he seek revenge later.
But suddenly, Gray’s steps halted. He stood frozen.
Not far away, Curls was standing quietly.
When did he get here?
How could he be so fast?
Gray was confused.
Curls looked at Gray with cold eyes. He had anticipated Gray’s plan to use the darkness for confusion.
In the dark, Curls’s senses and strength were greatly enhanced.
After exiting the restaurant, Curls intercepted the gang boss’s escape route.
In the open space outside, moonlight shone clearly on Curls and his cursed sword.
The moonlight on the cursed sword Red Moon caused it to glow intensely.
A strange, powerful force erupted from the sword, enveloping Curls and instantly boosting his strength.
Curls could feel his power nearly double under the red glow.
Is this the strength of the cursed sword Red Moon?
Curls looked at the sword, contemplating.
Besides the power boost, he felt an even stronger, more intense wave of dark thoughts.
Faint whispers seemed to grow louder, threatening to take over his mind.
Seeing the eerie red glow surrounding Curls, Gray felt instinctive fear. He asked in terror, “Who are you?”
Curls slowly raised his face, twisted by dark thoughts.
“Of course, I’m the one who’s going to kill you!”
With a surge of killing intent, Curls charged at Gray.
Gray’s face changed.
He couldn’t run now; he had to fight.
Gray aimed his flintlock at the charging Curls and pulled the trigger.
“If you want to kill me, come on then!”
The special lead bullet shot from the flintlock, burst upon impact, and exploded.
Flames and white smoke rose from the explosion.
Is he dead?
Gray watched the center of the explosion with tense anticipation.
Suddenly.
A black figure emerged from the flames, silently appearing behind Gray.
“Silent Slash!”
A crimson blade flashed!
This strike made no sound!
Gray felt his world turn gray, leaving only the red glow.
Curls’s blade had slashed his left side, blood spurting from the wound as his life quickly drained away, and he collapsed.
Curls’s “Silent Slash” was different from his “Iai Strike: Knight’s Requiem” used on the patrol ship.
“Iai Strike: Knight’s Requiem” was named to honor the tragic knights on the ghost ship.
Today’s “Silent Slash” was created by Curls after reflecting on his battle with Captain Kuro, inspired by Kuro’s “Shakushi” and “Claws of the Cat.”
“Iai Strike: Knight’s Requiem” was a finishing move, much stronger than “Silent Slash.”
Today, Curls could easily kill Gray with “Silent Slash,” largely due to the cursed sword’s power boost.
Under the moonlight, the cursed sword Red Moon could nearly double a person’s strength.
If not for its cursed nature, this top-tier weapon would be highly sought after.
However, while enhancing strength under moonlight, the cursed sword’s mental control also intensified. In just a moment, Curls felt nearly overpowered by the sword.
Fortunately, after killing Gray, he quickly sealed the sword with shadow power, avoiding being controlled by it.
Until he could resist the sword’s influence, he needed to use it cautiously.
…
Bartolomeo fled through the restaurant’s back door in a panic.
Witnessing the black knight slaughtering the gang leaders had terrified him.
But as he escaped, he saw an unforgettable scene.
His gang’s powerful boss was killed in an instant with one slash!
So strong!
Seeing Curls, enveloped in red light, Bartolomeo felt an overwhelming fear.
It was as if a god from hell stood before him, not just a young man.
