One Piece Space Fruit - Chapter 10
Within the scope of “Self-ROOM,” everything is meticulously detailed, and nothing escapes Evan’s perception.
“Prepare to die!!!”
Nivia’s cat face contorted with ferocity as she stomped on the void, coordinating with Taigu, attacking from both sides.
In almost an instant, the black and white figures moved above his head, with cat claws and bear paws striking down!
“Finger Gun—Three Claw Slash!”
“Finger Gun—Bear Impact!”
The terrifying power descended like a mountain, and the motionless Evan had missed the best time to evade. He could even feel the sensation of his hair being shredded.
Then, the two strikes crashed down, crushing the earth, tearing apart the ground and soil, and sending a wave of air, stones, and dirt flying in all directions.
In the dark night, as the dust settled, Nivia and Taigu maintained a posture of striking the ground. The ground caved into a huge black hole and three deep ravines between them.
But at this moment, their rigid bodies were like statues.
Nivia’s eyes were filled with horror, and even the usually steady Taigu looked incredulous.
Because at the moment when their Finger Guns touched the top of his head, Evan vanished!
He disappeared silently, without any prelude.
How did he dodge their attack?
“Are you looking for me?”
A hand suddenly patted their shoulders from behind. Before they could react, Evan kicked them both, sending them flying into the ruins with stones scattering.
Evan smiled faintly, “Now, we’re even.”
The rubble was broken open as Nivia and Taigu quickly got up, ignoring their torn clothes. Their beastly eyes gleamed in the dark.
“Are you a Devil Fruit user? Your ability is teleportation?” Taigu asked in confusion.
“Of course, that’s not all,” Evan’s left hand pressed down.
In Evan’s eyes, the circular space he created became more solid, emitting a strange glow.
Nivia and Taigu instantly felt trapped in a vast mire, with resistance pressing from every direction and filling every corner.
Spatial Imprisonment.
This was an ability Evan had created a year ago. Within the “Self-ROOM,” with enhanced control over the circular space, it was like squeezing a balloon, creating pressure and resistance, greatly limiting the enemy’s movement.
If this ability was condensed and strengthened, it could even trap others through spatial control.
“This time, it’s my home ground.”
Evan stomped, flying towards them at lightning speed, almost as fast as “Shave.”
He was like a tiger with wings in the ROOM space, his combat power soaring.
“Damn it.” Taigu stomped, but the surrounding resistance made it extremely difficult for him to move, forcing him to defend.
“Ancient Martial Art—Inch Extreme Collapse!”
Evan rushed to Taigu, delivering a punch. The layered dark force shattered his hurried Iron Body defense.
Taigu’s huge bear body staggered backwards, his feet leaving deep marks on the ground.
“Finger Gun—Steel Splitter!”
Nivia lunged forward, her cat claws gleaming coldly.
“Hmm? Still this fast?” Evan was slightly surprised. Then he raised his left hand, palm facing the oncoming Nivia.
The next moment, Nivia’s body froze in mid-air, her extended cat claw suspended, with only her cat eyes still glowing green.
“What… is happening?”
Nivia’s body trembled slightly, feeling an invisible hand gripping her, making her immobile.
“With your strength, you can’t break free from my spatial imprisonment,” Evan shook his head, slamming her to the ground.
Nivia crashed hard, with stones flying, and her cat’s body curled up, groaning in pain.
Is it over?
The evening breeze blew gently, the clouds above parted, and silver moonlight fell on the pitted ruins, revealing the three figures.
“You’re strong.”
At this moment, Taigu’s steady and powerful voice rang out.
“But as the third-ranked member of CP9, how could I be so easily defeated by you!”
“Maximum Wheel—Life Reinforcement!”
Taigu’s face turned ferocious, his legs spread, fists clenched, and his white fur stood on end. His huge bear body continued to expand, with muscles bulging and a sound like popping beans.
His eyes were extremely blood-red, his heartbeat was like a drum, and his wild aura was overwhelming, shaking all around.
“What is this?” Evan’s eyes narrowed, clearly sensing that Taigu was now much stronger than before.
Like a beast breaking out of its cage.
“Shave!” Taigu stomped, the ground beneath him cracking as he dashed at him at an incredible speed.
Evan widened his eyes, astonished by Taigu’s terrifying speed even within the resistance of the spatial imprisonment.
The bear paw struck down, and Evan’s figure flickered and disappeared from the spot. The bear paw shattered the afterimage, hitting the ground and leaving a huge bear paw print.
“Why is this useless?” Evan, who appeared ten meters to Taigu’s left, muttered to himself, then stopped talking.
Seeing Taigu move to that position, he grabbed Nivia’s hand and threw her with great force. His immense strength hurled Nivia’s body tens of meters away.
Nivia’s body spun in the air, stepping on the void, using Moonwalk to escape into the distance.
Evan watched quietly, not stopping her, allowing Nivia’s black cat form to blend into the night, disappearing from sight quickly.
“So, this is your plan—stay behind to hold me off while Nivia escapes to report to the World Government.”
Evan was somewhat impressed. The World Government had ruled the seas for so many years with its immense resources and power.
“You are wrong. I am not sacrificing myself to let her escape,” Taigu shook his head, his blood-red eyes staring at him, “She was just a hindrance, preventing me from fighting to the end!”
Taigu stomped, the ground exploding as he charged at incredible speed, almost ignoring the resistance of the spatial imprisonment.
“Still coming straight at me?”
Evan carefully monitored Taigu’s actions. Almost as Taigu’s bear paw struck, he teleported away.
Taigu’s bear paw missed, but he struck the air, creating a blast of air that pushed his huge bear body to charge backwards.
“This!” Evan had just teleported behind Taigu when he sensed Taigu’s counterattack.
“Using hands for Moonwalk?!” Evan’s expression was strange.
In the original work, no CP9 member used their hands for Moonwalk, probably because they weren’t as strong as Taigu’s bear paws or didn’t need to.
The bear paw, carrying terrifying power, smashed down!
Spatial teleportation could be used continuously but with extremely short intervals!
Evan pushed his hands outward, and the “Self-ROOM” quickly shrank to a small circular space enclosing him.
“ROOM—Almighty Push!”
Centered on Evan, a strong repulsive force instantly spread out.
Taigu’s fist halted in front of Evan, and then his huge bear body was flung away, rolling on the ground and crashing into tree after tree.
Evan stood in place, intense pain blossoming in every part of his body, a backlash from overusing his Devil Fruit ability.
“As expected, using this move with my current body is too much.”
Evan smiled bitterly. Just now, unable to use teleportation to evade, he was forced to use this move.
ROOM—Almighty Push, shrinking the ROOM to a small circular space with a one-meter radius, achieving near-perfect spatial control, and creating an outward repulsive force rebound, was his strongest defensive technique, an absolute defense against any attack!
Clap.
The trees were pushed aside as Taigu’s huge bear body slowly got up, his blood-red eyes staring at him.
“Forcing me to use Almighty Push, you’re an opponent worth remembering!” Evan nodded at him.
Taigu shook his head, his blood-red eyes gradually losing their light. He sighed, “I lost. Even with Maximum Wheel’s Life Reinforcement, I lost. I admit defeat.”
Then, his body deflated like a leaking balloon, returning to its original bear form. His white fur fell off, and his physique shrank, reverting to its human form.
Evan sensed that Taigu’s energy and spirit were now weaker than ordinary people.
Evan suddenly understood that Taigu must have used a forbidden technique to temporarily strengthen his body, gaining immense power beyond his limits.
But that was all.
The CP9 member before him was now no different from a cripple.
Evan was silent. Such an opponent commanded his respect.
Because in pure martial arts, he had to admit he was inferior to Taigu!
“Come, give me a quick death. Don’t hold back. Dying at the hands of a strong opponent like you, I have no regrets.” Taigu said calmly.
“As you wish!” Evan walked closer, striking his heart.
Taigu’s life force, already as weak as an old man, was instantly extinguished by this blow.
Watching Taigu’s body fall, Evan sighed softly.
Perhaps they could have been good friends if they weren’t on opposing sides.
Evan found a bear paw-shaped crater from their fight and buried Taigu’s body there.
Sensing the spatial mark left on Nivia, his figure flickered, disappearing like a silver flash.
The ruins and broken forest returned to their original tranquility, with the moonlight quietly flowing, draping everything in a silver veil.
