One Piece Space Fruit - Chapter 30
Escape.
The day had finally arrived. Usually calm and composed, Evan felt his heart surge like the tumultuous sea.
He had been in the world of One Piece for ten years, always shackled by the chains of fate!
His lack of strength for the first five years kept him trapped on Ohara Island. Only by exhausting all his power could he ensure the safety of those he wished to protect.
The next five years, still due to lack of strength, he found himself imprisoned in Impel Down, dedicating every day to relentless training to grow stronger.
How he longed to sail the vast oceans of this world, to witness its grandeur and freedom. Yet, numerous obstacles repeatedly forced him into seemingly unbreakable predicaments.
“Robin, are you alright?”
Evan clenched his fists, his eyes full of determination. This time, he would shatter the cage that confined him and truly set foot on the seas of this world!
By rough estimation, his current strength was comparable to an average Shichibukai. He could have even contended with Akainu if he possessed this power earlier.
Of course, in the five-plus years that had passed, Akainu would not have remained stagnant. He was likely already a Marine Admiral in both rank and power.
“No matter who stands in my way this time, I will leave this place!”
Evan’s voice was cold. This time, he would fight with all his might to carve out a future for himself!
“Evan, everything is almost ready.”
Crow and Snow approached, dressed and equipped for the mission.
Crow handed Evan a long sword and a white robe, items they had previously stolen from the guards of the freezing hell.
“Strangely, I feel a bit reluctant to leave this place,” Crow sighed.
“Then stay here,” Snow snapped coldly.
“No way, I’m sticking with Evan,” Crow quickly retorted, shaking his head.
“Enough chit-chat. Go get Master. We’re leaving now,” Evan urged, and Crow dashed off.
Evan’s gaze fell on Snow. “Snow, you…”
He paused, remembering the first time he met her, her exquisite body lying in the snow, pure and crystalline like her name.
“One day, I will tear you to pieces.”
The ferocious words from the girl years ago still echoed in his mind.
Snow said nothing, her silver eyes staring at him, devoid of any emotion. She was a proud and aloof pack leader.
“Go make the final preparations. You still can’t beat me, so you’re still my subordinate!”
Evan grinned, reaching out to touch her silky silver hair.
Snow shivered slightly but did not resist. She lowered her head slightly, biting her lip.
Submitting to the leader’s will was something she couldn’t defy, Snow sighed inwardly, convincing herself.
Evan fastened the long sword to his belt and donned the white robe, looking imposing.
“Let’s go.”
He stepped towards the exit.
“As you command!”
Snow followed without hesitation.
At the exit of the freezing hell, the massive iron door, reinforced with steel and seastone, stood tall and imposing, sealing off all passage.
A few guards in heavy coats stood by, yawning.
“Do you think the warden is paranoid, keeping us posted here for years without anything happening?”
“Shut up! If the warden hears you, you want to be poisoned to death?”
“Haha, he’s probably in the restroom right now.”
“Enough, the warden has his reasons. Just follow orders.”
Their conversation dwindled, boredom setting in.
Suddenly, a loud bang, like thunder from a clear sky, startled them.
“What’s going on?!”
A second, even louder bang followed, shaking the entire iron door.
“Is the monster trying to get out?”
“Contact the warden!”
“Impossible to break this door…”
As they reached for the Den Den Mushi, the door roared.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The iron door trembled violently under a tremendous force, the walls cracking. Finally, with a deafening crash, the door collapsed!
Boom!
The door fell, crushing many guards beneath it, and turning them into a bloody mess.
The cold wind and snow from the freezing hell rushed in, the temperature plummeting.
Three figures emerged from the doorway.
“It’s you!”
The remaining guards stared in horror, unable to dial the Den Den Mushi.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Snow moved swiftly, her left hand transforming into a wolf claw. The guards barely reacted before blood splattered, and their bodies were torn apart, falling into a pool of blood.
Crow, carrying the Night Emperor, shook his head. “What a terrifying woman.”
“ROOM!”
Evan scanned the surrounding buildings and teleported the three of them.
In an instant, they appeared below a massive chasm in the fifth level, surrounded by countless guards.
Above them was the only exit to the outside world, a tunnel reinforced with seastone, blocking spatial movement abilities.
“Prisoners!”
The guards stared in horror at Evan and the others.
“Ignore them!”
Evan leaped towards the chasm, forming invisible steps with spatial blocks.
“Charge! We break out of Impel Down!”
The three sprinted upwards, stepping on the spatial blocks (sensed by Observation Haki).
“Prisoners are escaping! Stop them! Notify the warden!”
The fifth-level guards, watching the trio ascend, were pale with fear.
Evan led the way, Crow followed with the Night Emperor on his back, and Snow brought up the rear.
They jumped rapidly upwards.
Evan saw the elevator in his path ahead. Drawing his long sword, he covered it with Armament Haki, the black blade gleaming.
“Break!”
Evan swung the sword, a black flash slicing through the air, splitting the elevator.
Boom!
The elevator shattered, and guards falling with the debris.
“ROOM!”
Evan pushed forward, clearing the falling debris.
“Disciple, someone is above!”
The Night Emperor suddenly warned, his Observation Haki far surpassing Evan’s, sensing a formidable presence ahead.
“Who is it?”
Evan frowned, stepping on the spatial blocks and continuing upwards. A faint light appeared above—the scorching hell of the fourth level was near!
