One Piece Space Fruit - Chapter 32
The venomous purple dragon roared, bringing with it the breath of death as it charged towards Evan.
Venom flowed incessantly from Magellan’s body, powered by his immense control, almost ignoring the repulsive force created by his spatial abilities.
Evan teleported to another side in mid-air, and the venom dragon missed its mark but turned in the air and continued to charge at him.
“So annoying!”
Evan muttered, knowing he couldn’t take such a venomous attack head-on.
He drew the sword from his waist, his aura shifting, becoming as sharp as a blade.
“Nightfall!”
Evan channeled his Armament Haki, covering the sword, and slashed at the venomous dragon. The dark black sword aura sliced through the air like lightning.
Splat!
The purple venom dragon exploded, the black sword aura cutting through the toxic liquid, scattering parts of it downwards.
“Venom Road!”
Magellan unleashed more purple venom from his body, creating a path of toxic liquid. He slid rapidly along this path, charging at Evan.
Evan slashed at him, but the sword embedded itself into Magellan’s body, venom splashing everywhere and blocking the sword’s advance.
The venom’s terrifying corrosiveness was damaging the sword. The sword would have been destroyed instantly if not for Evan’s Armament Haki.
Magellan’s massive frame cast a huge shadow as he closed in, arms outstretched to grab Evan, the boiling venom surging around him.
If touched, the venom would inevitably poison him.
Evan’s pupils contracted, and he fully activated his spatial abilities.
“ROOM: Almighty Push!”
He pressed his right hand towards Magellan’s body, and before his palm could touch the venom, the spherical space expanded violently, increasing the repulsive force outwardly.
Boom!
Magellan’s bulky body was flung away as if hit by a powerful force. The countless purple venom droplets on his body were also repelled, scattering in all directions.
Crash!
Magellan was hurled into a wall, causing it to crack and shake the prison. His entire body was embedded into the solid wall.
Evan flicked his sword, shaking off the purple venom.
“I underestimated you,” Magellan said, extracting himself from the wall, his terrifying eyes fixed on Evan. “Now, experience the true horror of hell.”
He grabbed the horns on his head with both hands, yanking them off to use as weapons.
Purple venom surged, and toxic gases billowed.
Stomp!
Magellan stomped the ground, his massive body charging forward with venom swirling around him, wrapping around the horned weapons.
Evan raised his sword, the dark blade emitting a milky white glow, condensing into a sharp edge.
“Black Night Flow: One Night!”
He swung his sword, a black and white arc of energy slicing through the air like a mystical crescent moon.
“Venom Dragon!”
Magellan’s weapon, wrapped in venom, transformed into a massive dragon that lunged at the black and white crescent moon.
Ssss!
The huge venom dragon was cut into pieces, venom splattering, but the crescent moon’s momentum continued, though it was weakening. It finally struck the horned weapon, causing the venom to explode.
However, the scattered purple venom quickly coalesced, forming two smaller dragons that lunged again.
Evan teleported, appearing behind Magellan. His sword radiates milky white spatial cutting power. He then slashes forcefully.
“Black Night Flow: Two Nights!”
Two black and white crescents burst forth, tearing through the air, and slicing towards Magellan’s back.
“Venom Road!”
Sensing the attack, Magellan moved swiftly, venom spurting from his body. His massive frame slid quickly with the venom, evading the two black and white crescents.
Ssss!
The crescents struck the venom-covered floor, carving deep, smooth grooves that were soon covered by the venom.
Magellan slid along the venom path, spewing venom balls like cannonballs as he moved.
Evan slashed with his sword, the black sword aura cutting through several venom balls. The exploding venom splashed everywhere, forcing him to erect another spatial barrier for protection.
“Double Venom Dragon!”
Magellan’s horned weapon, entwined with venom dragons, was thrust forward, shattering the spatial barrier as it approached Evan.
After a few encounters, Evan knew better than to engage in close combat, teleporting away instead.
Their fierce battle seemed to reach a stalemate, with neither able to gain the upper hand.
Evan was wary of Magellan’s venom.
Magellan was helpless against Evan’s teleportation.
“Delaying time is not a problem, but…”
Evan sighed internally, sensing that Snow and Crow were still stuck on the third level!
They were likely being obstructed by a formidable opponent, making escape impossible.
“It’s up to me now,” Evan’s eyes gleamed, contemplating a way to escape.
But first, he needed to incapacitate Magellan, at least temporarily. Otherwise, it would be over if Magellan joined forces with the strong enemy above.
“I hate this teleportation.”
Magellan stood still, ceasing his attacks.
“Your venom is equally annoying.”
Evan sneered, observing how Magellan’s venom had covered the entire prison floor and even the walls, leaving no safe place to stand.
He could only create spatial blocks to stand on in the air.
But this was where Magellan was most terrifying. His abilities weren’t as threatening outside, but in the nearly enclosed space of Impel Down, they were devastating.
This place was perfect for a Venom user like Magellan!
“How do I escape?”
Evan pondered.
“It’s time to end this,” Magellan’s sudden words made Evan pause.
End this… Did Magellan figure out a way to defeat him?
Or was it a bluff?
“It’s over. Time to send you to hell.”
Magellan repeated calmly.
“What are you saying…”
Evan began to speak but abruptly stopped.
His body shuddered, blood and energy disrupted.
Suddenly, his ears rang, and his vision blurred. Magellan’s form became a distorted abstraction.
“This is… venom?”
Evan’s face turned pale, his body staggering as if drunk, unable to maintain balance.
“When did this happen?”
He couldn’t recall any contact with the venom, so how could he be poisoned?
“Could it be…”
Evan remembered Luffy’s battle with Magellan in the original story, realizing that venom wasn’t just liquid.
He forced his eyes open, scanning the area, finally noticing the purple toxic gas permeating the air. The gas blended with the dim light of the Blazing Hell, making it hard to detect.
“ROOM!”
Evan expanded a spherical space, trying to block the poison gas.
“It’s useless,” Magellan said coldly. “The air here is filled with my toxic gas.”
“Unless you can stop breathing, you’ll inhale the poison.”
“Cough, cough…”
Evan coughed violently, the poison paralyzing his nerves. Expanding the ROOM now was too late.
“You’ve struggled enough,” Magellan stated.
“Venom Pufferfish!”
He opened his mouth, spewing venom balls at Evan.
Poisoned, Evan struggled to teleport, resorting to dodging by leaping.
The venom in his system affected his ability to control, making the spatial blocks unstable.
Evan stumbled, his face pale, and fell from the air.
He crashed into the prison wall, collapsing helplessly on the venom-covered ground.
