One Piece Space Fruit - Chapter 34
Let’s shift our focus back to the fourth level of the scorching hell.
A round crater had formed in the prison, where the dust had settled, almost encompassing the entire passageway area. The pit was smooth, tinted with a deep purple hue, and wisps of purple smoke still lingered, exuding a terrifying aura of destruction.
The scene was in complete disarray, with no sound.
Thunk!
A fallen brick wall suddenly shifted, and Magellan’s Satanic frame stood up. His black uniform was tattered, giving him a somewhat bedraggled appearance.
Magellan’s cold gaze scanned the surroundings. Sensing Evan’s location, he opened his grotesque, fanged mouth and spewed out several venom balls, aiming them at the rubble ahead.
Bang!
The rubble exploded as Evan burst forth, and the venom balls landed on the debris, covering it in an eerie purple glow.
Standing in mid-air on a spatial block, Evan looked down at Magellan.
His shirt was completely shredded by the previous shockwave, revealing his muscular, bronze-toned upper body with perfect abs.
“To withstand that last move, you’re quite strong,” Magellan said, his voice devoid of emotion but suddenly shifted, “But that only means I can’t let you leave here. Criminals as dangerous as you should die here!”
Evan remained silent, finding it somewhat amusing.
On Ohara Island, the Marines and World Government officials of CP9 had said similar things.
“Demons like you should die on this island.”
They spoke with righteous indignation.
But who was truly the demon? Who stood on the moral high ground, passing judgment on others?
“It’s all about power,” Evan said with a light smile.
“What are you talking about?” Magellan asked, confused.
“What is justice? Victory is justice! Everything is based on power. With power, you can change anything, turn day into night, and transform evil into justice!”
“Magellan, if one day I have that power, I will imprison you in a place lonelier than Infinite Hell, so you can taste what it’s like to be a world criminal!”
Evan’s eyes grew colder, his resolve firmer.
“Delusional!”
Magellan rebutted firmly.
Boom!
A tremendous sound came from the prison above, causing Impel Down to tremble slightly.
“That must be…” Evan’s expression turned serious. If he guessed correctly, this must be Snow’s “Manjusaka!”
Manjusaka was a powerful offensive technique Snow unleashed using all her Hellfire, incredibly strong but leaving her severely weakened afterward.
For Snow to use this move regardless of the consequences, she must have encountered an unstoppable opponent.
“I must finish this quickly!”
Evan stared intently at Magellan.
“What? Even now, you still want to escape?”
Magellan’s massive frame approached, pointing at Evan’s shoulder.
“Hm?”
Evan glanced at his left shoulder, noticing it was bleeding profusely, with a wound deep enough to expose the bone.
When did this happen?!
Evan recalled the moment, feeling a chill. He hadn’t realized how terrifyingly potent the touch of Magellan’s purple venom mist was.
The most crucial part was that he had been gravely injured without even noticing, with the venom quickly affecting his nervous system.
No pain, no itching, just a severe wound that filled him with dread.
“My venom can destroy anything. Being touched was your mistake!” Magellan said.
The scales of victory had already tipped in his favor.
“Is that so?” Evan chuckled indifferently, raising his hand to point at Magellan’s lower abdomen, where a black dart was embedded, piercing his flesh and drawing blood.
During the explosion of their previous clash, it wasn’t only Magellan who had attacked.
“A small weapon?” Magellan smirked, unconcerned, thinking such a wound couldn’t do much.
“Of course, it’s not that simple.”
Evan suddenly threw another dart, which traced a trajectory into the passage leading to the fifth level.
“What are you doing?!”
Magellan frowned, sensing something ominous, and wanted to act.
“Too late!” Evan raised his hand. A light orb appeared and rapidly expanded. “ROOM: Switch!”
The invisible spherical space quickly enveloped the surrounding area.
Magellan’s face changed drastically, and in the next moment, he vanished, replaced by a dart.
“This is…”
Magellan found himself in a new scene, realizing he was now in the passage to the fifth level.
He quickly used Moonwalk to stop his fall.
“You tricked me?!”
Magellan was furious, continuously using Moonwalk to try and return.
Thud!
His lower abdomen suddenly hurt as the dart’s spatial cutting power erupted, making Moonwalk impossible. His massive frame fell stiffly downward.
“Fall all the way to the sixth level, Infinite Hell!”
Evan appeared above the passage, coldly watching Magellan, holding a basketball-sized orb of light.
“ROOM: Atomic Bomb!”
He pressed the orb down, sending it hurtling toward Magellan with terrifying force.
“Damn it!”
Magellan saw the rapidly approaching light orb and frantically kicked the air in the opposite direction, diving downward.
“That’s more like it!”
Evan chuckled, transforming into a silver flash and disappearing.
Meanwhile, in the third level, Starvation Hell.
The massive black armadillo carrying Night Emperor and Snow was fleeing frantically!
The ground was being dug out layer by layer, creating a path, and debris flew in all directions.
Shiliew of the Rain was in hot pursuit, his clothes and hair charred, and his cigar was gone. He looked extremely disheveled.
“Damn it! I’m going to tear you all to pieces!”
His face was twisted with rage, his eyes gleaming coldly, and he kept swinging his sword, sending sharp slashes of sword energy tearing through the air toward Crow and the others.
“Crow, we need to escape to the upper passage!” Night Emperor advised, gripping Crow’s back protrusions with one hand and holding the weakened Snow with the other.
“I know, but I can’t fly!” Crow, desperately dodging the sword energy, replied helplessly.
He truly couldn’t fly. Without Evan’s spatial blocks or Snow’s Hellfire, his massive frame couldn’t even hover properly!
“Die already!!!”
Shiliew swung his sword, several white slashes of sword energy cutting through the air, heading straight for Snow on Crow’s back.
He hated Snow for making him so disheveled!
“Watch out!” Crow shouted in horror, sensing the attack with his Observation Haki but unable to dodge in time.
Slash!
At the critical moment, Night Emperor extended his left hand, covering his fingers in Armament Haki, and released black sword energy to block the white slashes.
“Old man, still got some strength left, huh?” Shiliew sneered at Night Emperor, but his attacks grew fiercer.
After blocking several slashes, Night Emperor’s face turned pale, and he began coughing violently.
“Go to hell!”
Shiliew’s sword aura lit up the space, ready to strike down Night Emperor and Snow.
