One Piece's Bizzare Adventure - Chapter 4
Good grief, always picking on the easy targets, are we?
Jon cursed deep down, but his actions were swift.
With a single thought, his Stand ability activated, and his figure vanished instantly.
“Swish!”
Shiryu swung, but only hit thin air.
Damn, still at it?
Couldn’t handle a fair fight?
“Enough is enough!”
Ace and Jinbei flanked from both sides.
Jon, returning from the “Inner World,” happened to witness this scene.
Without hesitation, he snatched “Raiu.”
“Jon!”
Shiryu’s eyes widened in fury.
Snatching someone’s beloved blade, what was the difference from taking away their loved one?
Any real man couldn’t bear it!
Jon didn’t say a word, simply raising the blade.
Slash!
In an instant, blood splattered.
Even though Ace and Jinbei were accustomed to battles, they didn’t expect Jon to be so decisive.
They couldn’t help but glance at Jon.
Seeing Ace and Jinbei both looking at him, Jon breathed a sigh of relief.
“Phew~ That was close.”
Ace and Jinbei were dumbfounded.
Were you kidding? Shiryu couldn’t even touch him, and you called that close? But remembering that Jon was their savior, Jinbei and Ace chose to brush it off.
Seizing the opportunity, Jon picked up Raiu’s scabbard.
Being one of 21 Great Grade Blades, Raiu was extremely precious.
Of course, he wouldn’t miss it.
Ace and Jinbei didn’t say anything either.
Sheathing the blade, Jon turned around.
“Ace and Jinbei, right? I’ve heard of both of you. I’m Jon, Jon Joestar, just a random guy on the sea. You can call me Jon or Jojo.”
Jon’s personality was almost a complete copy of his father Joseph’s: cheeky, impetuous, and a bit foul-mouthed.
He smiled, “Nice to meet you.”
“No need to mention it. Jon, you’re my lifesaver, I won’t forget it!”
“Your business is my business from now on. I, Portgas D. Ace, hereby declare you my friend!”
With righteousness at the forefront and gratitude as heavy as a mountain, Ace and Jinbei made their stance clear.
If conditions permitted, these two would have instantly sworn brotherhood with Jon, right then and there.
The three of them smiled at each other.
After a moment of contemplation, Jinbei spoke up, “Ace, Jon, now’s not the time for idle chatter. Our priority is to leave Impel Down as soon as possible. It might not be easy once the Marines HQ sends reinforcements.”
The Marine Admirals were like natural disasters; wherever they went, they altered the terrain.
Jon nodded hurriedly, “Yes, yes, let’s get out of here!”
Ace and Jinbei couldn’t help but feel a little exasperated.
What kind of words were those?
At the exit of Impel Down.
“These annoying flies just keep coming.”
Magellan’s face turned blue, and deep purple bubbles kept popping up on his body.
Around him, dozens of figures lay in all directions, foaming at the mouth, on the brink of death.
At this moment, a prison guard wearing a specially-made gas mask ran over and reported loudly, “Head Warden, all exits have been sealed!”
“Good.”
Magellan waved his hand.
The power of the “Venom-Venom Fruit” was astonishing, but it didn’t discriminate between friend and foe. It wouldn’t be good if his men were hurt.
“Yes, sir!”
The guard left quickly.
Magellan continued to block the door.
Staring at the deep and dark corridor, the Head Warden of Impel Down pondered silently, “Shiryu is guarding the sixth floor. Although that guy is naturally bloodthirsty, his strength doesn’t need to be questioned. The riot should be quelled soon.”
Actually, Magellan couldn’t stand Shiryu, and he even had thoughts of locking Shiryu up.
But he had to admit that in times of crisis, the most reliable prison guard was Shiryu.
“Execution is still a month away. We mustn’t cause any trouble before then.”
Magellan sighed deeply.
“Kikiki.”
Suddenly, a strange laughter echoed in his ears, making Magellan’s expression turn cold.
Boom!
Heavy footsteps reverberated in the vast corridor.
Before long, a giant over fifty meters tall strode out from the depths—the Colossal Battleship, Sanjuan Wolf!
“Kikiki, there you are.”
Sanjuan Wolf covered his mouth, laughing happily.
Contrary to his name, the giant didn’t seem fierce at all; instead, he seemed like a somewhat dumb giant.
Magellan looked up, shouting, “Get back to your cell!”
“Kikiki, cells are no fun.” Sanjuan Wolf said with his snot dripping, “I want to go outside.”
Gurgle! Gurgle! Gurgle!
The rolling deep purple bubbles grew even more violent, and Magellan’s body was halfway transformed into a viscous poison.
He stared at Sanjuan Wolf firmly, “This is your final warning. Get back to your cell right now!”
“No!”
Sanjuan Wolf refused again, slowly lifting his massive foot.
Against the giant, Magellan looked as tiny as an ant.
“Leaving the cell without permission is a capital offense!”
As he spoke, Magellan’s body suddenly changed color from deep purple to deep red.
The venom intensified, gathering into a skull-like monster over ten meters tall.
Sanjuan Wolf stomped fiercely!
It should have been an unstoppable force flattening everything.
However, to everyone’s surprise, the giant’s thick foot was corroded through by the deep red venom!
“Ah, it hurts!”
Sanjuan Wolf cried in pain.
Magellan spoke solemnly, staring emotionlessly at Sanjuan Wolf, “Give up struggling. Anything that comes into contact with me will be poisoned. Just one touch, and the deadly poison will spread throughout your body until you die!”
With Sanjuan Wolf’s limited brain capacity, he couldn’t understand what poison meant.
He only knew pain.
Enraged, the giant launched another attack.
“Boom! Boom! Boom!”
Each of Sanjuan Wolf’s punches was as powerful as a barrage of cannon fire!
Magellan did his best to defend, but even with his being beaten to a pulp, he couldn’t undo his ‘Venom Demon’ form.
Because he knew, as long as he didn’t die, victory would eventually be his.
Sure enough, not long after, Sanjuan Wolf ceased his attacks.
The giant looked at his remaining skeletal hand in confusion, “Huh? That’s weird, my hand.”
His consciousness began to fade away, and the world started spinning.
Sanjuan Wolf‘s eyes rolled, and he fell backward, creating a visible shockwave.
“Cough, cough, cough, what a troublesome fellow.”
Magellan, who relied on the venom to kill Sanjuan Wolf, breathed a sigh of relief before stopping his taxing ‘Venom Demon’ form.
The prisoners on the sixth floor were all monsters. If he wasn’t careful, he’d end up dead himself.
Thinking of this, Magellan’s hatred towards the guy who called himself Jon grew a bit stronger.
Hmph~ The venom was like invisible marching ants, gradually devouring Sanjuan Wolf’s massive body.
Magellan looked coldly down the corridor.
He actually wanted to see how many prisoners were brave enough to escape under his nose!
Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo!
Right after he just caught his breath, suddenly the alarm blared.
Magellan widened his eyes in disbelief.
This alarm meant someone had escaped from Impel Down!
